we're all recently escaped experiments holding up in some abandoned warehouse.
jump in with any character. i just ask that you post their name and ability first.
setting: futuristic world. they reside in a city surrounded by enormous, stone walls.
they're goal is to escape by moving to the other side of the wall.
the city, while technologically advanced, is dominated by crime and plagued by disease.
the last hope for humanity is failing.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
The whole place reeked. It was damp with water and falling apart after years of abuse. Sun - or the closest thing to it - shone through the blanket of pollution, passing through broken windows and a nearly collapsed roof. The warehouse creaked and moaned, voicing its aches and pains aloud for anyone within range of its dark enclosure. This place was decades old, rotted and falling to pieces, but Ben loved every bit of it. It was so unlike the lab they were raised in, so different and mysterious, that he couldn't help but become excited by it. As he stepped foot in the cavernous expanse of the main floor, his head craned to stare up at the ceiling, so high and practically nonexistent. A smile turned the corners of his lips.
"You think this would be a good place to stay?" It was Delaney, her voice calculating and doubtful.
"Oh, I know it!" Ben turned to look down at the broken tile, the dirt that crept through and grass. "Isn't this great?"
Delaney stared at him for a moment, her brows drawn together as she questioned him silently. "No, Ben. It's not."
Ben pursed his lips and waved her away. "It'll do fine for the night. We just need a place to rest."
They knew little of this outside world, their knowledge significantly limited to what the scientists had permitted them to hear and see. They knew that the last scraps of humanity were desperately clawing they're way out of a twenty year war. They knew that they were struggling to survive in a world polluted by chemicals and poisons, unnamed and unseen. He'd thought it tragic at first but, seeing it now, he was absolutely captivated by its magnificence. Everything was so alive out here. The wind tumbled weeds and stalks of yellowing grass. The sky billowed with grey clouds and black smoke. It was beautiful and a stark contrast from white walls and ammonia.
Delaney turned, her white garment twirling at her knees. She looked around with distaste and, at the core of it, fear. "What are we going to eat? We need clothes and water. Where are we going to get that?"
Ben was silent for a moment as he thought it over. Clearing his throat he sauntered up to the step of a towering staircase and took a seat. "The city."
She scoffed. "And how do you suppose we blend in, hm?"
Ben crossed his hands together and set his elbows atop his knees, his wings flexing behind him. "Anybody got any ideas?" He asked, looking around.

blackbird's song - possible character(s)
Delaney Sophia Jones
23 | Female | quiet & self-assured
Delaney possesses some very boyish features. She dresses in men's attire and utilizes many of their mannerisms. Growing up, she was often teased for her demeanor and clothing but has come to accept it as part of her person. Though quiet, she can be very assertive at times. She's not afraid of voicing her opinion aloud. Because of her background, she's very defensive, often challenging another's words despite their lack of animosity.
Faceclaim: Lea Seydoux
Loni Eleanora Simons
27 | Female | whimsical & sweet
Loni's a very imaginative, very active mind. To channel this energy, she pursues the sciences and art - often trying to expand her horizons through knowledge and creativity. Her attire has become something of a game as she tries to find a theme for each week and dress accordingly. Whether this be punk or romantic, she'll find a way. Because of her nature, she can be easily manipulated. She's naive and far too quick to trust.
Faceclaim:Yasmin Wijnaldum Ruth Negga
Finley "Finn" Joanne Adler
27 | Female | assertive & selfish
Finley's a few dozen tattoos on her back, torso, and shoulders. She's put them in places that are readily concealed by garments. She is largely someone who does things in her own interest and seldom for another unless it somehow benefits herself. It takes strong connections or valid reasons to break her of this. She is bisexual.
Faceclaim: Nadja Auermann
Benjamin "Ben" Howard Hughes
24 | Male | ambitious & manipulative
Ben is on the fence about his sexuality. He's never really exhibited any attachment or favor of liking to any one person in particular. He knows he attracted to certain people but this can be to someone of any gender or orientation. He's the strange assumption he's gay (or at least bi) and it terrifies him.
Faceclaim: Gaspard Ulliel
Fredric Ferro Delgado
36 | Male | quaint & compassionate
Faceclaim: Perdro Pascal
Names: Maverick, Malachi & Enoch
For this roleplay I'm using Ben and Delaney. Ben's 17 and Delaney's 16. They've only got first names.
Delaney's ability is currently under development. All she knows is that there is a voice in her head which calls itself Rage.
Ben has a pair of metal wings. They're bullet proof and sharp to the touch.
Both were created to be weapons in the war.
