Luana Luana narrowed her eyes at the girl. "Do you ever run out of questions, girl?" Luana snapped maliciously. This was getting bothersome. She could reach into that beautiful little pouch of hers and pull out some sleeping powder. But that would require the removal of the knife from the witch's throat. Which wasn't happening. Instead it seemed she would have to ignore the girl. But intent upon shutting her up, Luana snapped one last reply. "If I remove my knife from this witch's throat, she would probably kill us all with her dark magic in one sweep of her hand and then disappear into the night without leaving a trace of her presence. This dagger at her throat is the only thing keeping us all alive." Luana growled before reaching her free hand into her belt. She pulled out a pair of iron shackles, the only thing that could temporarily keep the witch's hands motionless.

Thea was sick of listening to this elf hybrid. It was not gaining them anything, she wished that her partner in this mission could see that, but perhaps some people get worked up over things they can't control. She tried to keep the fur along her back down, and forced herself to come out of her attack position. Thea stepped between the witch hunter and the elf hybrid, "Look, we all have things we need to do, so why don't you just move along, and we go about our lives?" The paper work for being late would reach the ceiling of the headquarter's. It would be best if they either killed the witch now or the elf hybrid left and they do the trial properly. Thea was not about to get in trouble with the head witch hunters, that could cost her her job if she failed this mission. That would mean she has failed four, and after three mess ups, you're gone. Thea can't afford that, nor can her family. This was the only thing bringing in food for them, as no other job really required werewolves to do things except guard places, but even then, people prefered their own kind verses an abnormal beast.

"Actually, no I don't, child " she retorted with a smirk, trying her best not to laugh at the hunters use of the word girl. Ameena was easily three times this girls age, despite her young looks. Elves- even those who where just hybrids- aged very slowly, a product of their incredibly long life span. Though she looked sixteen and sounded younger than that, she was a century old. She watched as her other hand grabbed for the handcuffs and contemplated making her move, but decided against it. That knife was still firmly on the witches throat, so if Ameena did make any moves, it would end up hurting the witch instead of helping her. "And if she did try to kill us all it would be completely justified." She added with a scowl.

Luana Luana glanced up at the other witch hunter. Grateful for the werewolf's interference. Luana herself had a short patience and short temper, in this situation she needed to keep herself together. Ignoring the girl for the moment, Luana quickly snatched the witch's hands and shackled them in the iron. Now the hard part was over. In trial, the town, like it always does, will declare her guilty and she would either hang or burn at the stake. Their job would be complete and the town would be saved from one less monster. Luana looked at the werewolf. "Let's go, we're already 5 minutes late. They won't appreciate it" She said flatly.
Davine Davine stayed quiet, listening to the conversation that bounced between the females. Her irriation at her capture faded into an understanding of the situation. They were witch hunters. And they thought she was a witch. Davine hid a smirk that flashed across her lips. Well this would be an interesting trial. Now her only wonder was why the girl was here. She seemed to be questioning the witch hunters, so she probably wasn't one herself. But what else would she be? Davine herself had never heard of people who actually stood up for the witch's. Was that what this girl was doing?

Thea felt relief surge through her when she heard the metal shackles close around the witch's wrists. It was the satisfying sound of success that she was drawn to. Besides bugs and speaking in front of crowds, failure was her biggest fear. It was a good thing she got what she needed to done before the council decided to fire her. The looked around when the witch hunter spoke, "Yes, I feel like it we're too late they won't be so lenient with my career this time." Thea turned back into her human form now that the job was done. She hated being in public as a wolf, as most people found her untrustworthy or looked at her like she was something that would get stuck on the bottom of their shoe. After turning back into her human form, the silver highlights in her hair grew brighter, and eyes gave a cat like glow. They always did after she had just transformed. Thea had side stepped the saliva that the elf hybrid had spat to avoid getting hit. This woman seemed to want a fight just for the heck of it. After all, who defends witches of all people?

Luana Luana was to busy tihgtening the shackles to notice the elvish girls sign of obvious disrespect. If she had, she would've lost her temper. But things seemed to be working in the Witch Hunters favor tonight. She finally finished with a rough tug and began leading the blonde witch from the alley by the elbow. Luana looked at the werewolf. "So you've been in trouble with them before then? Looks like we're both in the same boat. This might be our redemption mission" She said with dry humor. Luana herself hadn't failed to capture anyone. Her issue? She happened to capture innocent people who greatly resembled the witch she was going after. This happened three times now and she couldn't risk a fourth. They were already being gracious to let her even remain in the witch hunter organization.
Davine Davine grunted as the hooded female behind her yanked on the shackles. She growled under her breath. She was not to be chained like a dog! Davine moved along with the Witch Hunter, glaring at both her and the werewolf female. Her gaze was sharp and full of hatred. They wouldn't get away with this. She had ties and ways to get out of the trial. She wasn't going to die like this. No way, no how. And she would get her revenge. Oh sweet revenge would be hers. And there was nothing they could do to stop it.

Thea rolled her eyes when the witch hunter made her comment, "Yeah, I don't think I'm their favorite witch hunter right now. Considering the fact that I have failed a few missions..." Thea's words slowly faded out, but then she realized they had not yet introduced themselves to each other. Thea, feeling rude, decided to say something first. "I feel rude, I'm Thea by the way. Who are you, or what do you go by I should say." Thea looked at her as she said this but afterwards kept facing forward as they turned onto the main road instead of that dark alley way.

Luana Luana nodded in agreement with the other witch hunter. At least she knew she wasn't the only one to get a few things wrong. She glanced back at the silvered haired girl as she introduced herself. Luana took a right, heading toward the stables. She'd left two horses outside, she hoped the other girl had something way of transportation or one of they would have to ride with the witch. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Luana. My colleges call me Ana and my family used to call me Lu. Your choice of what to call me. I respond to almost anything" Luana said in a casual, lazy-like tone.

Thea knew they were making their way towards horse stables by the smell coming from them. When she had just so recently come out of her wolf form her senses were kicked into hyper mode. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, she always hated the smell of animals. Wild or domestic, she wasn't picky. But, werewolves were the exception as they smelled like the forest for the most part. Thea untied her braid of brown hair and silver highlights and into something a bit neater. However, she realized how pointless that would be when she would be going back into her wolf form since there were only two horses. Thea knew she would not be riding with the witch. Not in a million years. Plus, she was half an animal herself, she could manage. Thea spoke up, "You two can take the horses. I'll just change my form." Thea changed into her wolf form. The moon reflected off of her glowing green eyes better in the open then they did in they alley way. Her senses stayed the same as they were when she just left her wolf form. So at least it wasn't a complete change like from going days, even hours, without changing and getting a huge headache from the overwhelming sights and smells.

Luana Luana glanced at Thea, surprised that she wouldn't want a horse. But then she realized that her newest college was a werewolf. It would be almost like a stroll for her to keep up with two cantering horses. Luana almost smiled. But the smile didn't even grace her lips. She swept her hood back, tired of the heat it created around her face. "Right, I guess I'll have to get used to how convenient it is to have a werewolf for a partner. That is if we ever work together again" She over her shoulder as she stopped at the stable. Pulling a few silver coins out of her pocket, she handed them to the stable boy who, within moments, had her two horses, fed and saddled. Luana didn't bother with a thanks to the boy and turned to the witch. "Up" Luana snapped impatiently. The witch flashed her a glare and moved her arms up to grab the pommel. She heaved herself up and wobbled in the saddle, trying to adjust into a safe position.

Thea waited outside the stable, assuming she would not be welcome among the horses ad to not frighten them. She noticed however, the stable boy seemed more worried then the horses would be of her. She supposed it was abnormal to see a werewolf in the midst of the town. Oscar of her kind lived in the woods in the outskirts. She didn't say anything to him, not wanting to Scar him more, but just nodded politely and gave him a warm look from her eyes, wanting to appear less hostile then she looked. When the horses did come out, Thea teasingly stood in front of them, because she knew she was faster. And quite honestly wanted to show off just a tad. However, that was not something she normally did unless it was in front of new people. Thea payed the ground with one of her fore-paws. A few rocks came out of place among the cobblestone from under her feet. "I'm ready when you are!" Thea offered. Wanting to get going soon. At this rate they were already about twenty minutes late from what the council expected. Hopefully they knew her well enough to be 'fashionably late'.

Luana Luana quickly tied the witch's horse to her own and then swung up into the saddle. She shifted to get comfortable and placed her foot comfortably in the stirrup. She looked at Thea and nodded. The other witch hunter seemed eager to get going. And Luana agreed with her, they needed to be going soon. "I'm ready. We'd better move quickly, no stops, straight to the council" Luana said with a slight nod. Without waiting for another word, she kicked her horse into a canter, figuring the werewolf would have an easy enough time keeping up.

Ameena stayed behind, glaring at the two witch hunters leaving, before letting out a soft whistle, summoning her dragon to her. The black scaled creature snaked his way towards her, the thing was small, only as big as a horse. She ran her hand over the warm, rough scales of her dragon, who let out a soft snort, smoke billowing out of his nostrils. "Do you have their scent? Can you show me where they went?" She asked quietly.

Thea was not prepared for when Luana kicked the horse forward, she yelped in surprise and jumped out of the way of the horse's legs. When she realized where they were headed, she sprinted after then, giving what effort and energy she has left. The council should not be too far away, maybe a couple miles up the road. The pavement felt odd under her paws, as she does not usually run on it. Thea prefered the woods if anything. Her pads have gotten hard however, and this did not phase her or skow her down anymore. She stayed ahead of them for the majority of the time, sometimes she fell back and ran in sinc with them. After a while, the headquarters came into view. It was a grand structure of course, since this was the law and order of the country. Of course it had different bases scattered around, but this was the base of bases. It had it all. When they stopped, Thea turned back into her human form and looked over to Luana, "Okay, let's just be cool." She reminded her.

Luana didn't enjoy the ride much. She wasn't one for horses and the rope attached to the witch's horse kept jerking in her hands. She watched the werewolf girl, knowing her heightened senses could guide them better. As the made it to the headquarters, Luana swiftly dismounted from her horse. She stood to the side as the witch dismounted. The blonde female practically fell on her rear as she tried to slid off, but the managed to balance herself. Luana looked at Thea and almost smiled, "I'm cool, like a frosty wind" She said with a bit of amusement before tugging the witch forward and marching toward the building.

Thea held back a laugh when the clumsy witch nearly fell on her behind. For someone so powerful, it was amusing to watch such events. When it happened to people who were always clumsy it was not as humorous. Perhaps that was the downside to being smart and sophisticated. Thea was glad that she was neither of those things. She also smirked when Luana made her comment, "Oh yeah? Well I'm cool with a capital...whatever you spell it with." She told her. Obviously that was a very futile attempt at trying to top Luana but it was okay for now. Thea was not very book smart, she was more street smart if anything. It was her siblings that were book smart. She helped guide them to getting a social life while they helped her with studying. Not that she had much to study for, but it was good to understand things that may actually assist you later on in life.

Luana smirked with a small scoff of a laugh. "I do believe you are looking for a capital 'C'." She said lightly. But her voice wasn't arrogant, simply amused. Luana glanced over at Thea, "You coming?" She asked, arching one slim eyebrow in question. But she knew she didn't need an answer. Thea would come she was sure of it, they both needed this capture on their records. Luana moved to the door and knocked urgently.

Thea had put a hand behind her head awkwardly when Luana corrected her on her spelling. "Pshh...I knew that..." she said in an obviously sarcastic tone. She followed Luana up the steps that lead to the front enterance of the headquarters. Thea, being as impatient as she was, only waited a few moments before deciding to roll her eyes and go into her wolf form for hopefully the last time today. She threw her large wolf body into the door, opening it with ease as she supposed they were being expected. It was quite embarrassing for Thea when she opened the door with too much ease and ended up flying through the hall because of all the force she exerted onto the door now coming back. She rolled a couple times before stopping. It did not hurt her, but it was more of something humorous than anything. She hoped Luana did not assume she was hurt, Thea would rather make others laugh than have them worry.

Luana stepped to the side as Thea shifted. She pulled the witch with her, but never looked at the blonde. It wasn't worth the look, she was probably just glaring with a nasty scowl on her features. That's what they all did. Luana couldn't help but jump a bit as Thea mashed through the door. She leaned forward to peer in the door frame, giving her a fine view of the wolfish Thea tumbling down the hall. Luana smirked a bit and held back a laugh. Since she didn't know the other girl much, she didn't want to embarrass her by laughing. Carefully stepping through the frame, Luana moved around the fallen door, yanking the blonde with her. "You bust down doors often?" Luana asked, her lips twitching upward in an sideways smile.

Thea lifted her head from where she was resting and gave an awkward smile. She chuckled a little too, "I actually don't," she started laughing, "This one just happened to not be locked. And today of all days for it to be unlocked..." Thea rolled her eyes playfully before getting back up on her paws and shaking out her ruffled fur. She decided to stay in her wolf form for now, since she would end up having bruises all over her body when she turned back. It would be best to just leave it the way it is. She can deal with bruises later. Thea padded back to Luana and the witch, she went behind the witch, making sure she can keep her in check if she tried anything.

Luana laughed a bit and moved forward, going down the long hall. She then took a sharp right and approached a sort of desk with a well dressed man at the front. If she didn't know better, this building would almost seem like a very expensive inn. Luana stopped at the desk and pulled a peice of paper from her pocket. It was the paper that gave her the mission assignment. And it described the appearance of the witch as well. The man accepted the paper and read through it before looking up. He eyed the witch criptic eye, having no doubt heard of Luana's false captures before. However the man gave the nod of approval and then looked at Luana. "Identification" Luana sighed and rolled up her sleeve, revealing a halfmoon tattoo with a dot in the center. The man nodded and then moved to a door behind him. He pulled keys from his pocket and unlocked the door, yanking it open. The door simply revealed a long dark hallway lit only by a few torches here and there. Luana glanced back at Thea and then moved toward the door.

Thea waited while the man at the front desk inspected Luana and the witch. She waited this time for the doors to open to the hallway. She was bouncing a little on her paws out of excitement. Today would be the day where they let her keep her job, where everything can turn around. She couldn't resist and darted in front of Luana and the witch and started racing down the hallway until she reached about halfway. She paused and waited for them. Thea let out a small howl of happiness and began turning in circles, sometimes when she went to her wolf form she got a bit excited at everything.

Luana stopped abruptly as Thea darted in front of them. She gave a small smile and a roll of her eyes. "Werewolves..." She muttered with a growing grin. Luana tugged the witch long in the hall. Grimacing as Thea's howl echoed and seemed to bounce in a deafening way off the walls. When Luana finally caught up the Thea, she looked down at her while she turned circles like an excited puppy. "Cool with a capital 'C' huh? I really couldn't tell." Luana teased with a small smirk. She glanced down the right and the left hall and then looked back at Thea. "Turn right." She said, almost positive that was the way to the council.

Thea gave an embarrassed smile, "Did I say cool? I meant clumsy." She told her, feeling bad from causing such a disruption in the hallway. Hopefully no one else heard that. When Luana gave directions though Thea sniffed the air, making sure she was right. "Nope, it's left." She motioned with her head to where she was talking about. The hallway that branched to the left had a grand double doors at the end of it. It was very difficult to make out in the dim lighting but there was just enough to see it. Thea started down the left hallway, slower and not as loud as she did a few moments ago. If the council did here that she might get a talking to about acting 'professional'. However, Thea thought that the word 'professional' sounded to boring. She would rather be loud and peppy, running up and down the halls, sliding down banisters, and being loud. But, she was not in charge, and knew that even when she did get talked to about it, she would only keep going. They need her nose and heightened senses among the witch hunters.

Luana laughed a bit and went to turn right. Until Thea said something. Luana huffed and looked to the left. Was it really to the left? But she decided not to question and she followed the werewolf. Luana stopped at the large double doors and knocked loudly on them. She glanced down at Thea, "This time, lets wait for them to open the door" Luana said with a slight tease in her voice. She didn't want to make the girl fell bad or embarassed, but Luana always like to poke a little fun at people.
