This is a romance 1x1 in which we try to create the cutest couple ever. As the title suggests, this will be fluffy...but perhaps there will be troubles along the way.
It starts out in the first month of the relationship. Things may be awkward, but it's going well for our charries.
The purpose of this rp is slightly personal, but more than anything it's for fun and it serves as great character development practice. I feel more willing to rp a straight couple, but I could possibly do BxB or GxG. It's just that, because I am straight, I don't know if I'd be able to capture an LGBT relationship very well...Either way, I want each post to be at least 3 good sentences long. I want this to be the kind of rp that gives me fluffy feels.
This is a 1x1, but anyone is welcome to chat or offer ideas. As soon as someone joins, we can begin discussing our characters.

Was your name "Redawn" on the original forums?
Alright! Same, but I took a nap so I can't sleep now. So, I'm assuming we're doing BxG? If that's the case, which one would you like to play?

Ah! I remember you. You and I never got especially close, but I remember talking to you quite a bit.
Do you feel strongest playing male characters?

That's fine. I understand completely. It's hard for me to keep people in my head, and it's not like I remember what exactly we talked about.
Alright, then. Do you want to tell me about him? I need some sort of basis for my oc, but I have a few ideas in my mind already.

Calvin Davenport - 17 Calvin is a tall seventeen-year-old, standing roughly around six foot three inches, who sports a mane of natural dirty-blond hair which leans closer to a brown shade. His hair is cut short, however it has a slight length - long enough to be messy in an attractive way due to him having a habit of running his hands through his hair. Due to a strong jaw and thicker, straight eyebrows, the boy gives off the impression of constantly being annoyed and/or angry, which is rarely ever the case. Calvin - who sports a slight tan year-round despite his fairer skin - is one of the loudest people in his family and friend group. He's known for his boisterous personality and ability to make mischief no matter what; this makes him a hoot at parties which he's known to attend. A lover of plans, he often tries to lead situations he's in since he does have he ability to switch to being stern and commanding within a moment. Calvin is a competitive swimmer who is known to be hard on himself to be better than his older brother, Tyler, who also swam the school team before graduating. It seems to those who didn't know Calvin that his only flaw is being too hard on himself when he loses a meet or has a bad practice, even though he has many more. He's slightly arrogant and has a bigger ego, due to a lifetime of being a good athlete. He also has no filter, which sometimes gets him in a bind. Calvin's brother Tyler, who's older than Cal by three years, died in Cal's sophomore year of high school, Tyler being a college freshman. Calvin was devestated and completely threw himself into his sport, ignoring people and going into a shell. Slowly but surely, he worked himself back up to his normal self in junior year.
Ages and stuff can be fixed obviously, just let me know.

He sounds great! The age is fine, since I wouldn't know how to play anyone over 19. Okay, creating my character form now. How long do you have tonight? If you need to sleep, go ahead. ^.^

I know its something of a cliché, but Eilee is a small girl who is the very opposite of Calvin. She doesn't go to parties, she's very soft spoken. She doesn't use bad words, and while she has very strong opinions about what's right and what's wrong, she knows to keep quiet because it only starts trouble. This may be her greatest weakness. She wants to keep people from making mistakes and seeing things the wrong way. She lives alone with her dad, who's got a steady job and is a good father, but the way he talks about others irks her. And yet, there's a reason she can't talk to him about how the things he says irk her. Eilee recognizes that she's lucky to even have a dad who raises her by himself, but she wonders...is that enough? Eilee has felt very alone though, which is why she would feel so lucky to have a boyfriend.
"Eilee" is short for "Eileen," and it's pronounced like eye-lee, though many people get the name wrong. Eilee is sometimes too shy to correct teachers or peers who mispronounce her name. Eilee has wavy dusky brown hair that goes below her shoulders. Her eyes are round and olive green, one of her most striking features. Her eyebrows looked painted on, but she hasnt tampered with them at all because she thinks they're lovely the way they are. Her skin is fair, and she has freckles on her arms and cheekbones, lightly crossing her nose. She has a thin build that is mainly thanks to metabolism - she doesn't work out and she doesn't eat healthy food all that much.
Even though people may disapprove of some things Eilee thinks, no thing's going to change what she thinks.

Alright. ^.^ I've been at a College Fair tonight, so sorry I've been inactive. I'm here now, though.
Yeah, that sounds great, unless you feel like that's something that should be revealed later on. I think that both Eilee and Calvin are good-natured and kind people, so that attracts. Perhaps they met through a mutual friend, the type of person who can mingle with both the quiet and outgoing crowds. It's a possibility.

I was busy yesterday. Whoops. Anyway, I don't really know if I want Eilee to know what happened to Cal's brother. Maybe she heard just a little thing about how Tyler died, but nothing big and she doesn't want to pry because it's probably a touchy subject. However, the less she knows, the better. Maybe she hasn't even heard of Tyler or what happened to him.
What I meant by meeting Cal through a mutual friend is that this friend-person is both Cal and Eilee's friend/acquaintance. Let's say he's closer to Cal these days, but back in middle school he and Eilee were good friends who eventually drifted from each other. Somehow Eilee got close with this person again, he invited her to go get lunch with him and Cal, and that's how they met. Perhaps this friend-person sees that, while Cal is trying to get past his brother's death, he's just so lonely. Perhaps this friend figures that Eilee's compassionate and patient enough to be the right kind of gf for Cal. In a way, this friend has been a matchmaker.

I don't think there's anything else...just basic stuff like how long it took them to get together...however, I want a lot of this to be determined through their dialogue. Does that make sense? Sorry you have a cold. If you need to dismiss this and rest, go ahead.
