More of a short story and a little rant, so meh.
I have what is called a conversion disorder. It really varies person to person. For me, I'll get dizzy and either pass out or appear to be passed out but conscious and can't really move. Completely passing out isn't as common, as I'd rather have more idea of what's going on over being completely out and something happen.
Anyways. I was sitting in English, working on a peer review when I got dizzy. I tried to hold it off so if I felt somewhat normal, I could alert my instructor and maybe go home early. Well, that didn't happen. I just went out instead. My body decided that I'm too stressed out to function so down you go! I didn't look at the time when I was about to go out. I was too busy on trying to "fight it off" instead of keeping time so my mom would know how long. I floated in and out, being aware and not being aware until I felt that I was more awake. I also felt sick to my stomach, which doesn't surprise me. I tried to push myself up because I was sprawled across the desk from my chest up. I had a lot of trouble doing that when I began to feel dizzy again. I'm assuming that this was because my body gets weak and tired after an episode. Well, with me putting myself in a position where I'm doing something like pushing my body up certainly wouldn't help. I went back out again, falling head first into the floor. Again, I went in and out, trying to wake up. The instructor contacted security, which in turn called for an ambulance and my parents. I did wake up before being taken away. My head hurts from the fall and from having a normal episode. So that was a thing. Now I'm resting, and kind of out of it to the point where I have to read something several times before actually getting it.
How was everyone's night?

Yikes! That must have been awful. Well, the sad part is that I'm used to it.

I'm actually craving cookies, thanks. xD
Nothing, really. I can sleep, but there's still a chance I feel worn down afterwards. I may get some tea, actually, or make some coffee. Thanks for the concern and advice, Eight. c:

oh wow, that sucks
the worst i get is frequent (dislocations? subluxations? idk which) of my left patella. i'm in physical therapy to try to strengthen my thigh muscles — that's what's the issue is, along with not having deep enough of a groove for my patellas to sit. my right thigh muscles have enough tone that there's no issues there

Oh jeez, that doesn't sound fun!
I've fainted/had bad dizzy spells so many times that I'm actually used to it. I'm not really scared of fainting anymore, and I usually always know the reason as to why I fainted. (I didn't get enough fluids/eat enough/overheated)
Can I also say that fainting/passing out in school is the worst. I fainted in school a little over two years ago and I ended up smashing my front teeth and missing school for the next two months.
I hope you feel better soon!

Oh wow! Is there anything else you can do besides physical therapy? Are you feeling any better now?
Smashing your front teeth, ow.. Luckily, I haven't had that. I just hit my head. I'm only scared of going completely out because I like to know what's going on and if I'm 100% safe. The main reasons why I go out is due to stress or when I have panic attacks or I get depressed due to not taking my meds and emotionally stressed. I hope they got better.
Thanks! I should be fine tomorrow, I'm just zapped.

not sure. i have something called hypotonia. i also might need surgery in the future because my kneecaps naturally sit on the outer side instead of the middle of my knee. actually, the hypotonia is probably directly related to ehlers-danlos, which is a genetic thing that affects my body's collagen protein

it just requires more effort than someone who isn't struggling
i hope you can overcome your conversion disorder, or at least reduce the symptoms

Still. You shouldn't have to struggle.
Thank you.
