Happy Birthday Morrigan !!!
So I know you as IndigoInkwell, or Indi, or Inky. I met you years ago on the old forums back when I was still writing the earlier chapters of Curse, and you were just starting out as a writer on the WFF. I remember how shy you were, and yet still so curious and eager to learn how to be a better writer. That spark is what drew me to you, because I too was always aiming to be better, wanting to be better. I became your writing mentor, and taught you some of the tips and tricks I had learned. But we also became friends. Friends who would support each other for many years to come in both our forum lives and offline ones. I can think of numerous times your words have saved me from my darkest thoughts, from my most hated fears and nightmares. Your encouragement, your love and your loyalty as a reader and a friend has meant so much to me. Anytime you sent me a message where you would call me your inspiration, or your drive for doing what you love, I would feel my heart expand and fill with so much joy. I admit to showing your messages to my mom a few times, and she too found your words very special! It's something that I think is very rare between two people: to have not only genuine love, but also a genuine respect and admiration for each other's creative spaces. Indi, you are one of the strongest people I know. It takes serious drive to get through what you deal with day to day, and for that I admire you so much. I know it's not easy. I don't dare to imagine walking in your shoes, and yet...and yet you endure. You inspire me to get through my hard days, the days when living becomes gross and heavy and hard. Your creativity, passion and huge heart are so very precious to me. I know that I can be an absentee friend, but I want you to know that I want more than anything for you to be happy, and to succeed in whatever creative path you take. So today is your day, my friend. Celebrate all the hard work you have done through your beautiful and creative writing, your fun and quirky YouTube channel, your honest and kind attitude, and most of all...celebrate your life. Because life is the most precious thing any of us have, and it is worth living for. Happy 18th Birthday, Morrigan. With love, » ѕнαdσω ⚔️ Of course there is more...Who do you think I am?!! First off, to those people who aren't Morrigan who are reading this, I do implore you to check out her newest work:
And now onto the art!
I noticed your red-eyed cat theme you got going with your avatar, so I wanted to upgrade you with some apofiss art since it can be used for forum avatars and siggies!
Use them or don't use them. They are yours!! I'm not the only one who is participating. I reached out to mintedstar/fur and she made this awesome mood board for your birthday!!
I really need to make one too, it seems. Because that's just awesome!!

Welcome to the WFF Octoberfest Potluck! For the month of October we are accepting sign-ups for a WFF wide holiday! Do you have a scrumptious idea for a story that you would like for the community of the WFF to get a taste of? Would you like to recieve reviews and feedback, fan art and banners from your writing peers? Then this is a celebration you need to get in on.
The idea is that, after a random drawing of names from the sigh-up list, the people who are chosen can post a story written for this potluck. People can then read their work and the week they were selected for will essentially be 'their' week. A whole week all about you as a writer. Other authors on the WFF will give feedback and reviews on your work and other opportunities for banners, fan art, etc. When your week ends someone else's starts and the fun continues.
Sign up form Name: @yourpingnamehere If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: (Advice? Criticism? Bit of both?) Sign-up list Drawings will be made by random generator, picking one (1) name for each week of the featured month.
Week 1: n/a Week 2: n/a Week 3: n/a Week 4: n/a
Name: @/morrigan If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: Criticism and advice on how I could improve, and maybe some pointers on what I do right/okay? - Name: @/maplestone360 If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: Bit of both! How I can improve, and what I've been doing well with. - Name: @/pikafuey A bit of both in regards to advice/criticism - Name: @/katanaheart If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: Perhaps a bit of both. - Name: @/mosspool If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: a bit of advice and bit of criticism - Name: @/phantomstar57 If I'm drawn I would like my story to be given: Both Advice & Criticism Rules for Polite Eating
- You can only apply once and you can't choose your place in the line up.
- No negative or hurtful comments to the authors. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism only.
- If you sign up it is ENCOURAGED that you participate in other author's potluck weeks. It's rude to sign up and not give anyone else your attention.
- ANYONE can apply. The only requirement is that you write a brand new, never before shared piece for the potluck
- It is also HIGHLY recommended that you write a piece that reflects YOUR work and YOUR style. (Obviously this also means no stealing others work!)
- When this months names are drawn, authors should give us notice when their story entries are ready and links to them plus links to their other work that they want featured.
Didn't get your name picked? That's fine. This is an ongoing event. There will be WFF holiday themed potlucks going on for the month of November as well. Co-hosted with » ѕнαdσω ⚔️ , author of Clans of the Valley series and mintedstar/fur , fan art creator and reader. Banner and coding credit to Shadowface

phantomstar57 I know you have a bit of trouble seeing whites on pale colors and other text-color related things, so I wanted your opinion on the above? Does it work for you or should I change the font/size/color?

phantomstar57 I know you have a bit of trouble seeing whites on pale colors and other text-color related things, so I wanted your opinion on the above? Does it work for you or should I change the font/size/color? Can't remember if I ever answered this but yes, it looks great! I think the worst h for me is dark or black font on dark backgrounds. Then next would be white on very light colored backgrounds unless the color is vibrant and causes good contrast.

Wait ... should it be life-saver? Or did I just call you a hard candy? I think it's actually one word: lifesaver. I think the candy is just spelled the same way xD

You're a hard candy, a circular floaty, AND a lifesaver.
