My character is a princess. More or less. She is a mage. Her mother, a peasant, married her father because he feared that he would die and not have an heir. Little did he know, her mother was already pregnant at the time with a mage's child. She was born and unknown to her father, she was born with magic. Her mother knew, of course, and with access to the library, in secret, she was trained and her magic became stronger and stronger over time. When he mother died, she went slightly AWOL and started using her abilities to screw around with her subjects, creating illusions, stealing among other things. There was, of course, a warrant put out for this mage ... and when she is found by the head knight sneaking in the castle well... It doesn't end well.
If you want to play your character will be the head knight, and it doesn't matter what gender they are.

hmm... I was thinking that the king doesn't really know that the princess is a mage and puts out a warrent for her arrest, and when she's caught sneaking back into the castle thats when the knight finds her?

Sofia didn't consider herself a powerful Mage in the slightest. She couldn't do most complicated spells and she weakened quickly when she used her magic over long periods of time. She knew that it was because that she hasn't been raised by her father, her real father, the Mage who had allowed to be able to channel that art of magic. She was able to be what she was. Sofia was very talented at illusion magic, so much so that she was able to make herself invisible. She still struggled with keeping illusions of other beings without exacts ting herself, but she was getting better. She stepped in through the big doors that lead to the chambers.
