Tide goes in, tide goes out. You can't explain that.

It's quite simple, actually. You see, when water vapor the FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

*Explains rain as though everyone here were a toddler*
It's simple, you see.
Sun evaporates water Water ends up as clouds in sky Clouds get too heavy Water falls down as rain because gravity Water collects in rivers, lakes, ponds, puddles, streams, brooks, creeks, and whatever else it'll collect in. And then it evaporates again and the whole boring cycle starts over.
And that is a simplified explanation of the boring water cycle.
At least that's how I remember it being taught to me.
Also did I really just explain the water cycle on here.
What.
