El! I missed you. c:
Flame: Adulting in general is irritating. What kind of job do you want to look for?

Well I have a staging job lined up for this summer, but they really recommend a main job, so I went to Walmart here since they are remodeling. Went through the interview fine, but their background check guy was about to get off, so they asked if I could come in at a different time. So I came in at said time and low and behold, he wasn't working. Tried calling in to see when the best time to come in was, and all I got from personnel was "Oh, just come in later." No time. No day. Just a "come in later."

Honestly, but screw em, if that's how they are going to handle me, I don't want to be there.

I know I sound like a broken record, so I'll stop apologizing for disappearing from forums and emails for insane amounts of time... xD But...I'm back!
How are things? Hoping you're still around these forums; if not I'll send you an email sooner or later!

Hey Evening! It's okay, I know you have a busy life. No need to apologize. c:
I still come on every day to check if I have any messages. I'm on email way more though. I'm doing well! Just glad it's summer.

Thanks! I’m glad to hear you’re doing well. And I’ll be getting to my emails... I’m happy it’s summer too. It's my favorite season. I went to a water park yesterday; just trying to take advantage of the good weather while it lasts. What have you been doing lately?

Take your time! I know you're busy. c:
Ooh cool. I want to go to a water park. I haven't really been doing anything eventful lately; just working on writing.

Awesome! Are you doing July Camp NaNo? It kinda slipped my mind, but I probably should do it. And water parks are the best! Would totally recommend. The one I go to is part of an amusement park and mini-zoo and they're all included in my season pass. :3 I will probably go again either this coming weekend or the weekend after that.

I am! It kind of slipped my mind too. June went kind of fast.
Oh that's cool! I love playing in the water but my sister can't swim so I've never really gone to a water park, except one but that was a while ago.

It really did! Say, do you happen to have any open space in your cabin? If not, it's totally fine. This is so last-minute of me :') I could always ask another friend of mine who is doing Camp, or something. I know at least one other person.
What is your word count goal for this month?
Oh, yeah, that makes things rather difficult, having someone who can't swim. :c Do you have a water park nearby?
I like to do the slides in the morning before it gets crowded, then spend time in the lazy river/pools since you don't have to line up for those.

There's room but I'm in a regional cabin. Sorry about that. D:
I'm doing poetry this month so my goal is sixty pages for two poems each day. c:
Kind of nearby. Passes are always somewhat expensive though. :c
Ah that makes sense. It's a good strategy.

No problem. I have two RL writing groups now that I go to weekly, so I'll just treat those as my cabins.
Oh cool! I really need to get back into writing poetry regularly. It used to flow so naturally but now it's much harder. Do you happen to read a lot of poetry as well? And do you find that helps you write it?
Ah yes, passes are always really expensive. It was just under $150 for the pass and like $65 for the parking pass for me, but I go all the time so it's worth the cost. Of course, working full-time helps pay for all that too. I really should be more careful because I need to save up for my master's, but...WATERSLIDES AND ROLLER COASTERS :')

Ah okay. Ooh that sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy going to them!
I've found it harder as well, for some reason. I read a lot of poetry from instagram poets, and I find it helps to remind me that everyone has their own writing style and voice.
Oh cool you're getting your master's? You can do it! But yeah, waterslides are pretty great. Can't say the same for rollar coasters though :')

Thanks! I do. They were both carry-overs from creative writing classes I took for the minor — we had workshops as part of the class, and then after the semester finished we just kept meeting.
That’s a good idea. Are there any poets on Instagram that you’d recommend? It really did used to just flow so naturally for me. Nowadays it’s quite a struggle. I feel like I repeat myself a lot.
Yes! And thanks. On one hand, I’m sick of school, but on the other hand, I think it’s the best way to distinguish myself from everyone else who wants to get into the entertainment industry. And I do enjoy learning and taking classes; I just don’t like it when school cuts into my sleep/exercise/hobbies. I’m taking a gap year right now which is super nice.
Water slides are amazing! You don’t like roller coasters though? D: I actually got into roller coasters before I started going on water slides— being strapped in makes me feel safer for some reason.

Ah that's cool that you kept meeting. Writing groups help a lot.
Yeah. I could send you their names over Instagram if you want? I don't have their names down off the top of my head.
Good luck! I don't know if I could last that long to get my Master's. It's a lot of work. ^^'
Roller coasters are so fast and I'm just a slower person. >.< Some are fun though!

They really do! They've been huge in helping me actually finish stuff. I really struggle with time management and accomplishing things if I don't have a deadline. Poor executive function and all that fun stuff. But if I have a bunch of other people who need me to submit my stuff by Sunday night so they can read it by Tuesday, then I actually accomplish the things. c: That would be excellent! I can email you my Instagram shortly ^^ My main motivation is to get the heck out of Utah and go back down to California to work in Los Angeles, and the best way to do that is to do grad school (higher degree = higher salary = easier to live at a more expensive place, theoretically, if I don't go into debt which is the goal). Plus, computer graphics is one of the most competitive fields of computer science, so hopefully grad school will set me apart from the crowd a bit. Otherwise, there's no way I'd finish or even start a master's. But with that carrot dangling on a stick, I think I can do it. xD Eh, that makes sense. Coasters aren't for everyone, for sure. But I think we can both agree that water slides are amazing! :3 Did you have a good 4th of July? Somebody is setting off firecrackers right next to my apartment, and they have been for the past 30 minutes. I'm really hoping they'll run out soon. :') I am very protective of my sleep these days.

That's good! I have really poor time management skills too but I don't have anyone to yell at me about them so I just keep procrastinating.
You can do it! It sounds like a good plan. c: Hopefully it gives you high rewards at the end!
They look amazing, at least. I don't think I've been on one before. ^^'
Yeah, I went to my older cousin's house and we had lunch together. There were people setting off firecrackers yesterday too. You'd think they'd know not to set them off when it wasn't the fourth.
