Link shook his head, "You have every right to be angry, and that I understand. Don't even forgive me. I just needed you to hear me out and I leave the rest up to you. This changed everything but..things change and people do too..All I need you to know, is that I'm sorry for everything, I was upset and I was angry and I wnated everything but more pain, and it was selfish of me.."

Cheval stayed silent, not looking at him as he stared at Loki's grave. He really. Had no idea. How bad things got. He sounded sincere, but Cheval just couldn't find anything in him to forgive him or anything. It was more than a cowardly act. It felt worse than that. "You sound just like my father..." he muttered softly, narrowing his eyes more.

Link closed his eyes, saying nothing. Looking past Cheval to Loki's grave then looing back to him, "No, Cheval, we sound just like anybody whose made such a mistake. If you choose not to forgive him of all people, that's your business, but keep in mind that he wasn't the one who walked away last. Your his son, a lot of us don't even have families anymore, he didn't walk away from that ship. You did."

He crossed his arms, "Whatever happened between you too was serious, and even if he was the first one to walk away, he's the first to try and fix all of this." He shook his head and turned, "I can't do anything, but honestly, I would take it for granted."

Link said nothing, he wasn't going to argue with him anymore. He was tired of it honestly. Turning he stepped onto the path that led out of thr graveyard and walked along it. He best find Linebeck and see how he's holding up..

Cheval waited until his footsteps were nothing but faded echos before sighing. "You would've forgave him, wouldn't you?" Cheval asked softly to the grave. "Sorry I can't be like you though."
Linebeck was in a house (i guess) that he was assigned to, sleeping. Sort of. He was half awake.

Link crossed his arms and echalex as he left rhe graveyard and took his time finding his way to Linebeck's temporary home. Climbing the porch he knocked ever so softly on the door.

Linebeck lazily looked at the door before checking who it was. Once he realized it was Link, he unlocked the door and opened up. "What are you doing here so late?" he asked, slightly yawning.
