Symphony smiled and followed Shawn east, anticipation welling up inside her. She couldn't wait to win and sink her teeth into the neck of a child, feel that amazing sensation of blood entering her system, the thrill of the hunt.

Sorry about that, had the weekend out in town to do stuff. Still technically one more day but IDk if I will actually go back out)
Coda ran after them, having to move relatively quicker then he would if he was going alone. It didn't matter to him one way or another "Are we going to do it together or alone?" He asked, finally being able to walk right beside the two of them. He had his own plans if he was doing it alone but he was always able to work with a group.

"Same town, you can help eachother out, but really, who'll do that when there's such a tasteful prize for the winner?" Shawn explained before licking his lips at the thought. He couldn't wait to see how many he could make into livestock.

Lillian opened the door and walked out of the building, surprised to find two characters waiting there. They must be the rest of my squad. She thought. Then she noted that they were both boys, but she wasn't exactly surprised. "My name is Lillian Hawk, daughter of the head of the Blue Crescent Company. I am the squad leader and I hope we can all get along well." She started then noted with approval that they both had weapons. "You have weapons, but I hope you know how to use them. I don't care if you were ever on any squads up till now or if you're a newbie, listen and listen well. This is the squad you're on right now, treat eachother with respect, care and trust. On the battlefield you'll find that we're all you got. Whatever training you've done, it won't compare to combat with an armed vampire. This is Melody, she's been on a squad before and she's advanced in her training. This newbie is Azelea and she just joined us. Do you both have names?" She gave her little speech, the one she'd been dying to give ever since she'd first been proposed the idea of having her own squad.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot about the contest" Coda's face dropped a bit, pouting for just a moment. It was strange to forget something quickly. "Forget it" His voice dropped as his face did, moving his hand to grab onto Shawn's uniform. "Uh how long are we going to compete?"
(sorry, I still don't know how to reply to you, quail. And sorry for taking so long, just got over being sick)

"We'll probably compete until all the humans in the town are our livestock. And I know! We should get extra points for creativity, like winning the humans over so they willingly become livestock. Something like that would be fun, don't you thinks?" Symphony mused happily. She couldn't wait till all this got started, it would be so entertaining! After so long of watching from the shadows, never aloud to leave and play with the humans, this virus was like a miracle. Now she could do whatever she wanted, well, as long as she followed the Queen/King(whichever we decide for the vampire ruler of this area to be)'s rules.

(Ok I was waiting for Star but I guess I will reply xD)
Coda perked up a bit that was his favorite 'game' to play. Not only did it take using the advantage he had, but it also took the years of experience he gained from his immortal life. "I bet I can get more to come on their own then you" He challenged, already formulating a couple new plans for different environments. He couldn't help but wonder how this village was going to set up, would they have guards? Maybe none at all and it is only a farming community. "How long till we get there?"

Azela spoke before she had thought about it. She felt her ears burn with embarrassment and suddenly hoped that her hair covered their now pink edges. Despite this, she forced to face to stay calm - and a little smug as she leaned against the building wall. What the heck am I doing?! Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid! "I'm sure they both already know all of that, i's common knowledge. Their men, not babies." I seriously just need to shut up. If no one were there she'd probably be banging her head against the wall in frustration at herself, but she wasn't alone and she just kept making terrible impressions one after another.

And, don't worry, the town is just up ahead." Shawn informed them. He stretched his neck side to side, making a small cracking noise and pulled his arms in a stretch in front of him. "Competition starts now. See you guys." He gave a small wave then was gone. Of corse he had planned to win the town over from the start, there was no way he'd loose this competition. Oh, but even if he did he'd probably still have a little snack - he never did say the losers couldn't have a little taste.

Melody grinned at Azela "Didn't you hear, she wanted to make sure that if they are new to this, they know the basics" She couldn't help but give a small laugh leaning against the wall next to her "She just wants to look out for the us, right, Lilian?" She was planning on going back home once Lillian had given her small speech, her mind already going to the 'I wonder what I should do once I get there' process. Oh well, she felt like she had to make sure that no one died today.
Coda was slightly taken aback when Shawn decided to leave suddenly. He had to make sure he won at least a couple families over. So he took off his top cape, putting it under a rock and marking it with a marker he kept with him. Good. Next he sat to the ground, caking his clothes with dirt and some mud, making sure to get his face. This was a technique unique to him, so he made sure he used it when he could as his small size made it harder to fight a large group of humans. Grinning, he ran forward, only slowing down to a clumsy child's pace the moment he got close to the village, at that point, he was sure Shawn had started his thing, at least it wouldn't hinder him. The child moved to the first house he found knocking weakly on the door "Help" He begged eyes darting from side to side to try to find the locations of the other two.

Shawn watched with a small smile as the Four Horseman of John he had managed to bring to the village barreled toward the village in the direction of a little kid who's face was filled with dread. He watched the kid scream and run into the center of the town, multiple people exiting their houses to be filled with fear and horror. Time to shine. He grabbed his sword and leapt into the town from some hidden place. "Sword, drink my blood." He wasn't bothered by the stab of the five spikes along his sword and the vines that wrapped up to his wrist. The sword ran red with his blood and it was almost unbearable to keep that smile from his face. He leaped forward, running his sword through the monstr's body, more people coming out to watch the scene unravel. He jumped back from the Four Horseman of John before the blood could spray on him and ruin his uniform. The beast went down with a crashing thud and he turned to face to humans who were watching him, their faces a mixture of fear, relief, and gratefulness. Then he noticed Coda out of the corner of his eye, of corse the humans couldn't see him from here unlike vampires. He didn't know how Coda did it. How could the little vampire stand being so small, putting on an act of helplessness, he would be utterly humiliated and enraged if he had to do that. Returning his attention to the crowd of 12, it was a big town, and noticed the kid pushed up against a woman who had her hand on the kid's shoulder. He wouldn't demand their respect and his authority over them, no, that wasn't how this little game would work. He needed to earn their trust so they willingly became his livestock.

Symphony watched as both vampires began, her just standing there watching. If this town were small like most independent ones, Shawn probably would've won every person in the town over! She shook her head, wondering what she should do to try win them over. She couldn't bring a monster in, Shawn already did that.

Lillian stiffened as her friend laughed, but she forced herself to calm down. "I'm well aware that they know all of that." She began, trying not to say it through gritted teeth. "They are our squad mates, I know that. I'm just looking out for them, just giving them a little reminder. Remember your place newbie, I've been doing this a lot longer than you have."

Coda caught Shawn's eyes and gave a large grin, he had his own way of doing this as he had to work a lot harder to fight on his own then his act of deception. The subtle sound of the door brought his attention back to the matter at hand. He could hear some frightened whispers of children inside, which could give him either an advantage or disadvantage depending on how protective the parents were. A man, who couldn't be older then twenty answered the door. "Who are you?" He demanded, he seemed a bit uptight due to the battle that was started by Shawn. "Mister" Coda sniffled a bit, he would just have to change his script up a bit "M scared" the man was looking Coda over, he could easily guess what was going through his mind, something like 'where is this kid's parents' or something "I can't fight like my brother and sister so can I come stay with you?" It would only be a matter of convincing this man that vampires were not as bad as they thought, then he could use him to get others on their side.

That's it! Symphony new what she would do. She left the area, returning not ten minutes later with a dead human body. She walked into the town and waltzed right up to Shawn, paying no attention to the people as she tossed the limp body on the ground in front of him. "You really should take more care of the people you 'protect'. If you just up and abandon them they'll all end up dead like this one from the disease you promised to protect them from," She shrugged as she continued, "but who am I to tell you how to handle your job." She heard murmurs of doubt and she could feel how she unsettled the people and she turned halfway to see them. "Oh, sorry, were you playing hero? So sorry to have disturbed your act, go on, continue pretending to save these people when you're just wasting the people here, like old food forgotten and left behind." She began walking away and she could see how the people became unsettled and worried, similar to that of a movie playin out in front of her, though she could already predict the ending, conducting it like an orchestra.
