I mean probably yeah, or art in general. It's a bit funny how the furry economy seems to operate in it's own little bubble. You have a lot of people who are furries who are in generally respectable career fields that make a lot of money but don't always have the artistic know how. In turn, the furries with artistic know how using those skills and pricing suits, art, sculpting, whatever else, at a price point that they can essentially make their income through it because the people with money are buying that art of their characters.

I've even seen people literally just trade-swap what they need without money involved at all, ex: one of my friends is a mechanic and he did a huge repair on a fursuit maker's car for his partial because suit maker couldn't afford the huge money expense but could afford spending time & smaller expenses of using fur they already had on hand.
