Okie dokie, so lets save the kick off date for a saturday then, the evening? Not too late but definitely after dinner. I'll wait for the other responses before I come up with a date that everyone can make a little note on. (I run on CDT time. I'm usually busy on Sundays and I have school until 3 pm every weekday, so evening/Saturday would work)

Alix hissed. "No. No one except himself." She thought, feeling angry at the very thought of the heartless tom. "He has a servant, named Rabbit. Rabbit seems timid. Giovanni treats him like a lesser being though, by abusing him physically and mentally." "A servant?" asked Rosina. Weren't they those little assistants in the stories her mother had told her? "Those still exist? I thought they were gone many years ago."

"No, they still exist." Alix said, quietly, but angry all the same. "I don't understand why they still exist. I guess that some cats don't have moral standards." Alix clawed at the ground slightly. "That way, you don't know whether a cat you meet on the streets is a nice one or horrible." Her mind flashed breifly to Trace.

Rus & Luna ;; The tom's warm eyes flickered as they slid across the fan's frame. The life of a stray had earned him a body that was stout and thin, but no thinner than any other cat on the street. This small molly, well she was a few pounds under the cut. He watched carefully as her ribs rippled under her now fluffed coat. He wondered where she was from, if she was a newcomer or had lived on the other side of the city. On the occasion he ventured over there, but not often. Secretly, and to himself, he swore that he would find the cat some food.
Looking up he couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the skies beauty. Everything seemed so soft and blissful unlike the life he lead, like all the lives they lead. "Yes, it is quite beautiful," he purred before looking back at her.
The sky, it comforted him, no matter where he went, the stars and the moon and the sun would always be there. "The stars," he purred as he looked back at her once, sending her a warm smile. "So what's a beautiful thing like you roaming around on your own in a place like this?" he inquired in a light tone, teasingly flirting with the she.
rus has no game lol xD
ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ ; hey fiiiiiii !! ]
Luna looks over at Rus and gave a light giggle of an embarrassment."Oh please, me beautiful? I'm sure you saw lovelier cats than me," she gave a slight purr of amusement and then looked over at the stars again."I came out here to get a better look at the night sky. I couldn't see them all that well with trees, in my view," she said and her tail covered her paws as she looked into the deep navy blue sky. It wasn't black but close enough to black.

Rus & Luna ;; Rus watched the cat carefully before returning his gaze to the night sky. "You assumed wrong, love," he meowed. He looked at her sideways, eyes twinkling like the stars and full of with amusement, and shot her a playful smirk before returning his eyes back to the sky. He enjoyed this cat's company. He could already see the kindness in her heart, something you didn't find a lot of on the streets. He couldn't help but wonder how she ended up to walk the same kind of life as he and so many others. He had been teasing before but she was lovely. Shrugging his thoughts away he replied, "You could've just climbed the trees, though then I would't have come to meet you," he purred. It was then that he realized he didn't know who she was. "I'm sorry for being so rude, I forgot to introduce myself. Standing up he bowed towards her, "The name's Rus , and may I ask what your name might be?"

Rosina looked at her in confusion. "Why would he need a servant? He seems to be capable of doing things on his own," she mewed. She hoped this cat didn't use the servant as a punching bag- to her, the idea of having a servant was justified slightly- but as long as the servant was happy and was treated well. (I'm testing to see if that thing with the different-colored dialogue works or not)

"As clumsy as I am I would probably fall off," she giggled at herself. She had to admit he was really nice and it was comforting to know that others could be nice and not leave her alone. She looked up at the night sky and heard the tom she was sitting next to asked her name."My name is Luna," she said with a purr. She enjoyed her name and always thought of the moon and the stars when she heard it.

"Because he's a lazy foxheart who only cares for his own precious well being." Alix hissed. "When I met him, he hit his servant. His servant is called Rabbit, and is pretty tiny. He seems to be afraid of his master, and phrase everything very carefully. Probably so he won't get a beating."

"Well," said Giovanni, "we don't really have a group. It's usually just me and him..." Rabbit looked at him, annoyed. Just the two of us? What a liar- it's always me and him and an unsuspecting she-cat! he thought once again. Not that being with other cats was a good idea to him- it would make him even more paranoid than he already was. Giovanni was enough to deal with already. How could he ever handle about six cats if one was already too much for him? "Ah, I see." Flint nodded, though the stories he'd heard said otherwise, he decided not to question it. "I'm with those guys." he pointed towards his glaring with his tail. "But I'm considering leaving." he admitted.

"Why doesn't he try to escape him then?" asked Rosina. This only opened up more questions- did this cat not realize a servant is a servant and not a punching bag? It was strange to think about the idea- how did this cat even go about his daily business if his job was to be another cat's punching bag?
Rabbit and Giovanni both glanced at the other group as if they were the same cat. "Me and Rabbit here don't really live in one set area- we roam freely. It's a safety measure." It wasn't really Rabbit's wish to be constantly on the move- he wanted some nice spot peaceful and quiet, where he could be his own cat- and perhaps be a bit more like Giovanni, if he was lucky. But he pretended to agree anyway.

"Probably can't." Alix said casually. She tried to get her cool facade back, and she thought it was pretty much a success. "If he got caught, god knows what would happen to him."

Rosina bought for a second. Now this wasn't anything like the servant stories had been told- in the stories her mother had told her, servants lived jolly lives with their masters, always being well-treated. "Why doesn't he fight back, then?" she asked, a growl to her voice as if she was accusing this Rabbit cat.

Rosina was obviously rather appalled at this behavior. "This Giovanni cat seems like a terror. How could a she-cat ever love such a parasite?" Hopefully Giovanni was the only one this horrible on the Journey...otherwise she'd turn back and return to house cat life.

But he pretended to agree anyway. Flint saw Rabbit and his master glance at his glaring as if they were one. To him, it seemed as the thought of living in a group greatly displeased them. "I see, well, you know what they say: safety in numbers." he cited the old saying the glaring cats had had for years.

Giovanni nodded. "That's why I bring around a servant- he works to test if cats would attack me or not. He's very useful that way- put some mud and a sock on him, send him into the alleyway... I mean, he usually doesn't get hurt, and he runs for safety if he gets into anything..." Rabbit's ears were listening intently. "Usually..." he mumbled under his breath so nobody could hear.

"Charm them? How could any she-cat in their right mind do that?" asked Rosina. Her tone wasn't angry or spiteful- it was more bewildered by how strange this cat was. Was such a cat even possible?- Perhaps she'd find his servant and ask him. He could hopefully provide a portrait of the cat that at least made it seem a bit more realistic than this first impression.

Rosina thought for a bit. "I don't think I would be that enthralled if he brought along a mange-filled punching bag everywhere he went," she explained. Suddenly, Susanna walked up to them almost somewhat suspicious. "Wait a second here, are you talking about that sleazebag Giovanni and his hooligan servant? Oh, great, now I have to go through everything about him. Look here, I don't listen to everything the grape vine says, but here's the deal: That cat's actually a house cat, escaped from his Twolegs. That's why he thinks of everything as a game- that's how house cats like him are raised. I mean, Rosina here knows because I teach her, but-" "Susanna, why didn't you tell me how mean cats were out here?" "I'd figured you would have known. Look- every cat out there's either mad in the head, greedy, manipulative, a cutthroat, a murderer, or me and you. Never trust anyone- except for me. It's a mad world here on the streets, and never think any cat will be honest- even you will lie to yourself."

Luna purred at the thought she enjoyed the tom's company. "Sure thing I would love that," she purred with joy, the fact she was getting food in her belly and also hanging out with a possible friend is a good thing. She noticed how thin she was getting and didn't really like it. Her black fluffy pelt began to loosen a bit and she fluffed it back up. She didn't want a stranger worrying about her.

Susanna turned to the gray tabby. "You can stay. Listen. I'm going to exploit that cat with a few other cats like me who hate him. We'll expose his crimes- we won't kill him, there are things out there worse than death and I never liked serious violence anyway." After describing her ideas in detail, she turned to Alix again. "So? Are you coming with me?"
