Jackdaw & Luna - -
The black tom gave a chuckle, amused by how lively this fluffy she-cat was. "Well Luna, it seems you certainly are in a better mood. Am I wrong?" He couldn't help but feel a small purr rumble from within him. His ears perked slightly as he heard the tom Storm speak once more, and averted his attention to him momentarily. "I suppose I should be heading over to the Shallows soon then." Jackdaw meowed once the tom was done speaking. He then turned his back back to Luna and asked, "Are you going to be joining the group on the journey as well?"

( Arrghhh sorry I messed up ) Sky looked up as Storm approached. She listened to what he had to say, and then gently touched her tail to his shoulder, trying to tell him that sheforgave him.

[ It's all cool XD See you later! ]
Storm blinked at her fondly, eyes crinkling. "Thank you for forgiving me, thorn-kin." Gently stated, but his voice still had that rough quality that made almost every word a growl or grumble.

"My name is Larkspur," the young she-cat replied, "And no, I don't think I know anyone in here, would you mind telling me some of their names?" she asked, flicking her tail in the direction of the large, important cat who called the meeting, and was now retreating to the back of the nest.

"Ah, that my dear, is Storm. Big burly fella with a knack for adopting the broken, the lost, and the lonely." Sirius was pleased with his bit of poetry, sitting back on his flank with a look of smug satisfaction. "That gingery bundle of yellow fur is his adopted daughter Annie, and it looks like he's taking in more ickle wickle kittens as we speak." Glancing around, he searched for others to name. "Ah, that slime ball of a tabby over there is Giovanni. Don't fall for his tricks, deary. He's a nasty one. The wrinkle of scars and fur is his servant, more like dog, Rabbit. The scary looking ginger female with the well kept pregnant one is Red, and the miss-neat-and-tidy beside her is my dear friend Lady. Ebon is on the otherside of Pollo, a nice guy. Lived on a boat, actually. Those two females over there, they're house cats and I unfortunately do not know their names. Susanna is over there, with her longtime pal, former house cat Rosina." He hummed, trying to find others he could name. "Ah, and there's Jackdaw in the corner over there with some young rogue"

Storm, Annie, Giovanni, Rabbit, Red, Lady, Ebon, Susanna, Rosina, and Jackdaw...Wow, that's a lot to remember!
"I see you know a lot of cats," Larkspur mewed, a smile forming on the edge on her maw. She peered at the kit Sirius said was Annie, wondering if she should introduce herself considering she wasn't that much older than a kit herself. Looking back to the toms, she tilted her head and asked, "Do you think you'll be going with Storm and the others?" She was still considering this question herself, in fact.

Chester nodded. "I would love to come with you... As long as we don't kill every night." His voice was not cheerful as it was when he first met the rogues. "Wild cats don't seem to be as great as I thought they would be. Why aren't they friendly like the shelter cats?" he murmured to himself.

Luna gave a purr."Yeah I am feeling much better," she said with happy tone her voice was a lot perkier than usual. She no longer had that soft shy tone. Once she heard about the journey, she had to think about it. She didn't know if she should or not, but she decided to get over it. She is a part of a pack she needs to help out, no matter what."Yes I will, I want to help out," she said boldly she looked at Jackdaw, "thank you, for talking to me."

"Killing is a last resort and heavily frowned upon. Of course you get cats like my Auntie Red who've had to kill to defend her home, and cats like my Dad who do it to make sure the threat is gone for good. Usually it's when there is no other option. Real wild cats are nice, but they're rough. Life has made them be like that. Do your duty– hunt, protect your den, protect your family and friends, and life is good. If you can't do that, and most have a really hard time with it, then life hurts." Annie explained, she had done a lot of thinking and asking around on the subject. Hearing his words she snorted, "Shelter cats are rogues and loners who couldn't deal with a real life anymore. They were willing to give up their freedom for the relative and tentative safety of twolegs. Dad says they let themselves get caught, but most don't realize that after a while, if a twoleg doesn't take you home, the shelter feeds you to the dogs." She shuddered, "Shelters are awful places. So small and cramped, or so I've heard."

"I'm going, for sure. One hundred percent. My, uh, den used to have good food availability but it's getting more and more dangerous to steal from the stalls." Sirius shrugged, "So I'm going. You?" His grey eyes appraised the youth, "You'd probably be adopted by Storm in a heart beat. Haven't ventured much outside of your home, I'm guessing?" Gently stated, not rude in the least although his curiosity was insatiable.

"They aren't that bad, and you only go to another shelter if you don't get adopted. I never thought they were rogues and loners and wild cats, they looked so... Docile," he said. "The shelters are actually quite nice. I do hope we don't have to kill often, as I do really want to become a wild cat like you," he mewed. The wild cats he had met besides the other kits and Storm left a rather bad impression to him...especially Giovanni and the way he and his servant- or whatever that cat was called- quarreled like there was no tomorrow.

Larkspur had to think about that for a second. What Sirius said made sense: food was running out, and pretty soon there wouldn't be enough left to survive. She would have to move on. And considering most of these cats saw Storm as a good leader, who killed that cat because he had to, he probably wasn't that suspicious. Looking up again, she nodded. "I think I will," she mewed. The white she-cat smiled at Sirius's prediction. "Maybe," she agreed. "But I am able to take care of myself." "No, I haven't left my territory much. And it's a good thing I did, or else I wouldn't know to leave."

"Storm is... a good guy. He knows what he's doing, and he's been taking care of cats a long time. He's got his flaws but overall, he's a decent leader." Sirius looked thoughtful, "It is good you left your territory so you could find us, although I wonder how you managed to stay so hidden for so long?" He genuinely wasn't too concerned about the journey, well, except for the fact that he knew Giovanni was joining them. That would certainly be annoying.
Annie puffed up her chest, "I'm a good wild cat, my Dad makes sure that I'd only be good. He said to never let someone tell you what you are. Only you can decide that, or something like that" She frowned for a minute, "But a lot of cats don't think that way, because of reasons. I dunno the reasons though, we can always ask?" "Well, then, I would like to be a cat who dosn't kill." He thought about what Annie had said for a brief second. "Is that Giovanni cat one of the ones that don't think that way?" Chester looked across the room to see Giovanni glaring back at him.

Larkspur shrugged. "It wasn't that long, really. I'm only ten moons old. And come to think of it, I may have seen some of these cats around but I never found out their names," she explained. "Oh, and I live in Maplewood Park," she added. And it wasn't like a cat would go looking for a youngster all alone in the woods, right? Besides, she wasn't alone for that long, only around four moons. Before then she had been either in a shelter, or with a twoleg.

( Back! Went kayaking. :3 )
A smile grew on Sky's small, neat muzzle for the first time in weeks, and if she could have purred she would have. As it was, her smile seemed to be as bright as the sun in her namesake at that moment. It was a funny sight; a small, dark kitten morphed by the big Maine Coon, but somehow it seemed to work. Sky thought for a moment of Shadow, the kit Annie had mentioned as she noticed the faraway look in Storm's eyes, having no idea at all that she reminded the tom of his lost adopted daughter. Poor Shadow.. Her family must have really loved her.
Suddenly, she felt even fonder of the big, patriarchal tabby before her. If I had a father, I wish he could have been you, she thought wistfully. She had never met her own, and for all she knew he was dead or with some other she-cat. She had fairly thirsted for a father, but her mother had been enough to keep her happy. And now she was gone as well. But for the first time in moons, the empty space in Sky's heart seemed a little less empty.

"From what I've seen he is" Annie said with a curl of disgust on her tongue. Eyes narrowed in on the selfish tabby she sneered, "He's the coward, hiding behind his words and his mannerisms and his violence. Dad says a good cat never actually needs violence to get others to listen." Annie's hero was very clearly her father, but she also held a kernal of rebellion. She didn't like to listen, she hated her lessons and was much more interested in running off and playing. But, she knew that Storm had a point to make in most of his lectures. "He likes hurting others. I think he hurt his head when he was little."
"You're looking a little lost, Sky. What is it?" Storm wasn't sure what brought that flicker of sadness but he had an odd feeling it had to do with her parents, or parent depending on the situation. It frustrated him that males so rarely stuck around after the fact, to deal with the kittens that usually come from a relationship. If he'd had found someone in his youth, he would have been tickled pink to raise the younglings. However, Storm wouldn't complain, he still has the younglings even if he doesn't have the loving mate.

"That makes sense," said Chester as he watched the cat kick his scraggly servant in the nose. "If he's a coward, then what is his...servant...thing? A bigger coward, I guess?" Sure, Giovanni was wrong, but he at least was on a side- Rabbit was against everybody and nobody. What was worse- the master who bullies or the servant that watches his master hurt and never moves a whisker?

"Yeah. They're both super weird. Dad thinks they're dealing with repressed feelings for one another, but I'm not supposed to say anything about it because it might embarrass them" Annie lowered her voice to a whisper, eyes glinting with humor.

[ Fally: I think I am just somewhat off on my RP game right now. xD Yet Dove and all the rest of my characters will straighten out soon enough. cx Poor Azalea :c Being a runaway hurts, haha. Oh yeah, she will defiantly take care of everyone once she is more comfortable and gets to know all the cats ^^; Hmm. If you believe that would be best. I always have to remember my cats' ages. Like Dove is really Littlepaw/dove, who is kinda brat/**** as an apprentice but she is semi-calm as an older feline. ]
Dove & Azalea
"Yeah", Dove meowed absently. The white she-cat gaze was still straying around the abandoned two-leg nest, she was somewhat awed by the structure and how it was still standing. There was a good number of cats present too. She still felt uneasy but she slowly felt herself beginning to relax as she sat next to Azalea. The other house-cat was feeling her feel comfortable while being surrounded by strangers and a dead body. Dove had never someone get killed by another by, she had seen one of her old friends get run over by a car when she was kitten. She faintly remembered being scared to death to leave the house. "I believe we are making the right decision", Dove meowed, giving Azalea a warm smile and slight nudge with her shoulder, "This will defiantly be an adventure", she meowed with an almost carefree laugh. Her tail twitched where it was rested among her paws, revealing that she was still nervous about the whole ordeal. Dove was brave, she could do this. She nodded her head, "I will never have to deal with him again", she meowed with a firm tone. If she could survive a murderous human-mate, she could survive this journey and the other cats. "I should ask someone to teach me to fight", she mused out-loud, as her gaze flickered around, "We might need those skills in the future".

Chester tilted his head. "They sure seem to hate each other for all I know." He didn't know what was going on with them, but whatever it was, it sure seemed extremely hostile. They both seemed to always want to kill the other. "From what I've heard from eavesdropping on other cats, Rabbit's like a vulture- Giovanni will get what he wants, be it food or ladies or bedding, and Rabbit gets the scraps he leaves. Why doesn't Rabbit leave Giovanni already, though? If he complains about Giovanni all of the time...."

"Becaaaause" Annie rolled her eyes, "It's because Giovanni has that power, Rabbit wants it– I think. So he'll stick around." She shrugged honestly not particularly caring about them much. She also didn't understand the lure of power, why have that when you could have adventures? It didn't make sense to Annie. "So what do you do at your nest? Are there other kittens to play with?"
