Just remembered. I had librarians in middle school named Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Swindle. Absolutely sweet ladies who were always happy to have me around when I was escaping the kids who bullied me. They encouraged me to read.

Kids joked that they kept the overdue fees from books for themselves, stealing from everyone. They often looked the other way if I brought a book back late though.

It was something like Olberhalman or something. No one could spell or pronounce it. Everybody just said Mr. O. Everybody hated him because he was sexist and was divorced 4 times and bragged about "working on his 5th" before getting fired for messing with girls on the softball team. And then apparently moving one city over and getting hired to a second school district for some reason because apparently nobody does background checks. People knew this because he just went back to managing another softball team and when the districts played against each other they saw him again. This did not go over well with anybody.

There was also Mr. Keach aka Keach the Peach. He wasn't that kind of bad but he sure was annoying because he got to be a movie extra in The Day After but this inflated his ego so much he acted like he was a huge movie star and we should all know who he is and ask for his autograph or something. Like seriously, its all he would brag about every day or how hard the movie business really was like bro... you were in an arial shot of a bunch of sick people in a warehouse no one even saw you, come off it. lmao.
