(open to anyone. sorry for the absence)
North paced back and forth, her spine fur raised in agitation and fear. A coyote attack! There were not deaths this time, but with the death of the Sunteller's mother still so fresh in the minds of many, North couldnt help but fret. What was worst, among the fighting cats who returned, none of them was Ray. As a matter of fact, she hadnt caught a whiff of her mate since dawn.
Nerves rippling through her swollen belly, the kit-mother trotted to the nearest group of Tribemates. "Have any of you seen Ray out there? He's been gone since dawn and with coyotes so close the Oasis now... im worried."

"I haven't sorry but I'm sure he'll be fine." Mist said trying to help the queens nerves "Maybe he's out hunting? or just got a bit lost. Ray is fast and can fight he can hunt for food and fend off attackers we shouldn't worry." She herself wasn't even convinced of these words, she just hoped the queens wouldn't get to worked up, it's never good for a queen to have to much stress. Her tail flicked nervously hoping to find more words to convince the she-cat but of course her mind went blank un-able to think of anything else.

(Not rp: since it’s inactive I’ll just skip a moon) After a moon Cloud could move around a lot easier, cloud has played with Flower and sand a lot, they listen to rain’s stories, played mossball and the warrior game. Played with the leader when she wasn’t busy, cuddled their mother and a lot more. Tagging: polarized randomcat5 sharptail

Leap Nursery {--} With Cloud, Flower & Sand Leap stared at her kits, playing at the entrance of the nursery. She flicked her tail calmly, her nose still marked with the scar of a coyote. It had been a moon since the awful attack, the cats of the tribe were forced to rebuild camp, and now the patrols were bigger, because of the rising threat the coyotes gave to the tribe. Leap was scared for her kits safety, the coyotes only seemed to be rising in numbers, and the tribe decreasing. Sunteller had been stressed, taking herself on more and more patrols, determined to find the camp of the coyotes. If they caught them first, maybe they could push them out of the territory. Maybe, they could strike a deal for peace.
For now, she had to focus on her kin. Her kits were now a moon old, and more rowdy than ever. They reminded her so much of their father. She wasn’t sure if she would ever tell them of their father’s origin, or that they were half-tribe, but they were too young now. She walked across to them, making sure to give them all quick licks on their head. Sand, her only tom-kit, she noticed, was the most like his father, having the steady body of a Moon-Tribe cat. He wasn’t as slim as his sisters, but he would still be a loyal and good addition to the tribe. She caught the suspicious glances of the other cats on Sand, and her other kittens, but she refused to tell anyone the father. They didn’t need to know, and she didn’t want her kits treated differently. She spotted Sunteller at the entrance of the camp, staring deeply into the sands beyond. She wished she could tell her the coyotes wouldn’t attack so soon after, but even Leap didn’t know if that was true. She could only wish.
[[ a moon has been skipped, so when I update the main page with new cats, everyone will be aged by a moon. Feel free to start roleplaying again, sorry for the break everyone. ^^ ]]

Camel lumbering in Dunes ~~ in camp ~~ interacting with Leap and kits That patrol had been too long. The sharp claws had wanted to sniff everything and watch forever. They were just suppose to remark the border and keep an eye out of coyotes. Some of this tribemates obviously wanted the honor of finding the coyote camp but Camel wanted the honor of not dying and returning to his nest.
He bounded into camp, moving towards the to-be den but stopping short when he came to the grasses. He could still remember the coyotes’ snouts emerged through the grass walls of the to-be’s den. There were so many sharp teeth in those snouts. He would have been snapped in half if not for the sharp claw apprentices. Right now, at sunhigh, there was no one in the den. He turned around.
Cats had rushed to defend the kit-mothers and kits. That was the safest place right now. Camel bounded over to the safety of Leap and her kits. He was glad the kit-mother was Leap. She was known to be kind on patrols, giving time for to-bes to catch their breath, and for giving good advice. Camel didn’t want either but he was glad she was a friendly cat. He didn’t want to be ordered to do anything else right now.
He settled down a couple mouselengths behind Leap, effectively hiding from both the rest of the camp and kits. He heard kits like to play with tails and used their claws for everything. He tucked his tail tight against his body. There, no bothering anyone and no one bothers me. He thought, letting all of his muscles relax. Now he only needed to make sure his mentor didn’t have any more work for him to do and then he could leave camp and follow the patrol’s path to get close to the twoleg’s camp. Surely, the coyotes wouldn’t tread along a fresh trail of seven cats.
The twoleg place called to him like a mirage in the middle of the sands. He hadn’t gotten closer than looks for the past moon. But that night, after the attack, with the smell of his tribe mates blood in the air, he had decided to get to safety. Others might be happy to die by a massive pair of jaws, he was not. No, thinking about it, he would not just get a look. He could get as close as the camels today. He would go beyond the border. Camel needed to go now.
“Have you seen my mentor?” Camel asked in his soft tone used for appeasing any adult. He inched slowly from behind Leap to the side, still keeping her between him and the kits.
