that's real, the only person i remember from the old forums is sand, lol <3 I remember you and Sirk pretty well! I think AshClan was the first clan I rp’d in somewhat decently if I even want to consider it as that. How have you been? I’m good! I have a college degree, a steady job that is hard and does not pay highly but I do love doing, and an apartment with my friends so life could definitely be way worse! I also just convinced two irl friends to join the forums and start an rp with me, so I am basically doing to them what Sirk did to me all the way back in middle school, lol. How are you??? |

I was on the original forums for a couple of years or so at the end, but I was never very active and didn’t have anyone who I even talked to regularly, so I’m sure no one would know me from there. I mostly remember interacting with forum games and like one or two small Clans (don’t remember what they were called but I started one and it had less than 10 members), otherwise I just lurked and read threads without posting.

Hi, I'm not as active this days but some remember me. I was Bleakfang the Hollywood Undead fanatic. I spent a very long time lurking due to very strict family finally joining at the tail end of 2015. I remember I was in the middle of my first college semester when the forums shut down (Yes, I'm old). We're probably around the same age then lol |

I joined back in like..fall of 2011, shortly before my birthday iirc, I started out as treemist1022, then like, a year before the old forums closed, i changed my screenname to S'more I completely forgot to take note of it, but I was going through the Wayback Machine today and saw your old treemist name a ton. |

I was mintedstar/fur on the old forums, so nothing has changed lol.
I joined in 2012, but lurked since about 2010. I proceeded to get pulled from the forums by my parents about a week after joining and didn't come back until 2013.
I haunted the Warriors Fan Fiction board almost exclusively my whole time there, apart from joining Darkfeather88's clan/s every time they popped up and occasionally turning up in A Rocky Foundation/Destiny in Art Forums (or the one time I got banned for the comic I made, I will be salty about that to the day I die).
I had a horrible time spelling at the time and the forums fully taught me how to read, write, and god knows what else. I'm glad I ended up in the WFF when I did, because while I was there for the end of its heyday, I also missed a lot of the darker stuff that apparently went down. How I missed that when I was lurking in 2010 idk, but I think it helped I didn't read comments.
At any rate, I was always more 'known' for being in absolutely everyone's comments and reading every fan fic on the board than anything. I'm still very happy that I can call WFF my first found family. They were and are all flipping amazing and I'm glad I still am in contact with most of them.

My reading comprehension was so abysmal that I couldn't even finish state tests within the allotted time. i.e. 30 minute test was 2 days for me. It was awful. By 7th grade, I was almost still exclusively reading books with little amounts of text and huge pictures. There were a few books we were forced to read but it was so difficult for me, then I found Warriors. Immediately caught up and seemed to surpass a lot of my peers lol. Joined the forums, met a friend who taught me about typing on the internet, grammar, and roleplaying. It's amazing how such a simple thing helped us in such an interesting way! |

Off topic but this thread reminded me of old mate threads and then I remembered that THIS forum had a section to find forum mates and I went to look and it's gone... who made the decide to have a mate section and who got rid of it? When It first got made I remember thinking whyyy bc even back then forum mates were considered cringe but who made the exec. decision bc I think it's funny thinking back on it.

Under Message Board Discussion > WCF Memories, there's a ton of those posts. I wasn't around for the beginning of WCRP so I don't understand a lot of it, especially the ones looking for actual girlfriends and boyfriends. |

I assume Tomo copied the structure (so all of the boards) from WCF and decided to keep the mate section. I think someone got rid of it maybe a year or two later? I was never on the original forums but I remember finding a 12 page long thread named ‘Chisels’ and I have NO idea why I read the whole thread. It was really gross and started out as someone ‘looking for a mate’ in a platonic way, but soon turned R rated. I reported it and either you or Samd took it down but it was a weird waste of 30 minutes. |
