( no, you're perfectly fine! If we need to plot a bit, we can c:
I was thinking a few years after they met, maybe the vampires have overrun this part of the city and there's hardly any humans left here. Maybe the select few humans that are here will be captured?
I was going to have Lydia have a run-in with a vampire (or a few) and has a hard time escaping.
I don't know if that helps you any ^^" )

Lesath frowns when she almost immediately takes the liberty of saying his name so casually. He may have just given it to her, but it was still...strange to hear it come from someone who was not blood related to him. Not in a way that mattered, in any case- His frown wanted to deepen when she then followed up with fairly thanking him for not killing her. That is never something an assassin wants to hear- He clicks his tongue in censure but whether it was more for himself or the human, he couldn't be sure.
"With proclivities like that, I don't need to."
There is an effort made, to avoid sounding too disgruntled. Today is simply an off day. The problem is that it's day at all, actually. If they met at night he'd surely have drained her by now. Lesath would have liked for these to be their last words so that they could both- not flee- but make their exit with some form of grace. Unfortunately the states that they are in would not allow a swift withdrawal. Both human and vampire leaned against opposite walls, drawing on their strength and marshalling their tired minds for the uncertain path that lay ahead. To linger in this uneasy truce is maddening. He doesn't think he's ever spent so long around a live human.
'Lydia...'
It's a familiar name. One that means 'Beautiful One' or 'Noble One'...She has certainly earned the most troublesome of the meanings. What she has done today may be deemed noble by whatever idiots are around to care. He does not want to think about what that makes him. Agh. She makes his head hurt.
Lesath is standing and flexing his still-healing leg when the human approaches him. He tenses automatically despite her hands remaining clear of her weapon. She pauses tantalizingly close and he runs a tired hand over his face as a way of temporarily covering his mouth and nose. There's a wry smile in his next words, however.
"There will not be a next time." He assures her. There is no chance of this happening again. If he ever were to see her, it is likely that she will not see him. Perhaps he'll do her the service of burying her corpse should he come across it, but that will be the extent of their interactions.
Lesath listens to her as she makes her way further into the ruined cityscape, back to moving with speed and caution. He waits until her footsteps have faded to start in the opposite direction, pulling up his hood and using the shadows of the mid-afternoon sun to best effect. Now healed well enough to inject speed into his movements, he rushes to clear the city before Theta can locate him again. Lesath is still at a disadvantage compared to his pursuers- he briefly finds his thoughts straying to what may become of the human if she were to encounter them first, but he quickly strikes it from his mind. He is solely concerned with saving his own skin. Her death isn't on his hands, and that's eno- that's the end of it.
Lesath swings himself onto a rusted fire escape and spares a moment to rap his knuckles against his skull as if he can knock some sense into it. He cannot and will not be so weak again. He let the human live once, and has no reason to concern himself with her further. They'll never meet again.

( Characters make plans and I laugh~
We can begin the timeskip in your post, if you want! That way you can set the scene!
Also because we're doing a timeskip of however many years, Lex will be slightly different due to events that happen in the interim. He can never quite shake his sense of compassion but their meeting may be rougher! )

( Ok so sorry for being a few days late ^^" )
Many years had passed since her last run-in with the vampire who called themselves Lesath, but she still didn’t understand why he had let her live. If he had just killed her, she wouldn’t be in this situation right now. Time had slipped her mind and it was growing dark; one of the work times to be out since vampires were more abundant now.
The sun had dipped below the horizon, and the city was bathed in a thick, unnatural darkness. Lydia’s footsteps echoed off the hollow shells of buildings as she moved cautiously, her flashlight slicing through the gloom.
The wind howled through the empty streets, carrying unsettling sounds — scuttles, and whispers. Lydia’s flashlight flickered, casting erratic shadows on the walls. Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the night, making her jump. She spun around, her breath coming in short, panicked bursts, but saw nothing but the encroaching darkness.
And then she saw them.
Emerging from the shadows were two figures—tall, gaunt, and moving with an unnatural grace. Their eyes glowed faintly red in the darkness, reflecting the light from her flashlight like malevolent stars. Her blood ran cold as she realized the danger she was in.
She turned and sprinted down the street. The figures pursued her with an eerie, almost silent determination. The once-proud cityscape now seemed to close in around her, with every turn she took only leading her deeper into the maze of ruin.
Desperate, Lydia ducked into a narrow alleyway, the walls pressing in on her from either side. Her flashlight revealed twisted metal and broken glass scattered across the ground. The alleyway offered no escape, and she could hear the figures drawing nearer, their movements unsettlingly close.
As she reached the end of the alley, the young lady stumbled into a small, open plaza. She glanced around frantically, her mind racing for a plan. The plaza was surrounded by a ring of tall, crumbling buildings, their facades etched over time. A single, decrepit fountain stood in the center, its basin filled with stagnant, dark water. Her eyes were drawn to the fountain. She could hear the figures now—whispers and scrapes—growing ever closer. In a moment of desperation, she grabbed a broken piece of stone from the fountain's base and hurled it into the water, creating a splash and a commotion that she hoped might buy her some time.
As the figures converged on the plaza, Lydia took advantage of the distraction and sprinted towards a nearby building with a shattered entrance. She dashed inside, her footsteps echoing in the hollow space. The building was a former office, its interior a chaotic jumble of overturned desks and scattered papers. She navigated through the debris, looking for any possible means of escape.
Her flashlight flickered once more before dying completely, plunging her into darkness. Panic surged through her, but she forced herself to focus. She moved cautiously, her senses heightened. Her hand was covering her mouth to quiet her breathing as she searched for anything to help her in this situation. She cursed quietly as she heard a set of footsteps closing in on the office building. Thinking quickly, she slipped through the broken door which led her to another alley with overgrowth and debris scattered everywhere.
