This looks interesting! I’m not sure I’ll join yet, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it! Edit: The more I've been thinking about this the more excited I am! Will probably join when you open this! Also, (please forgive me if I'm so wrong about this) maybe it would be a better idea to have people start off only able to claim one charecter, so everyone who wants to can have one? Since it's clangen you're not sure when a new cats is going to be added so I think it might be better for everyone if people just start of able to claim one? That way also if people aren't around as much as they think and they had a few characters claimed, it could slow down the rp. pepperfrost |

Irisclan
i. Welcome to Irisclan!
This is a CLANGEN Roleplay. If you don't know what Clangen is, feel free to search it up! The clan and Roleplay is based off of the ongoing game I have running on my computer. Feel free to play the game yourself, it's a fun clan generator where you play as the narrator and depict what your cats do or based off the events that happen each moon.
In this Roleplay we'll be following the characters each moon and their events, people who claimed their cats will add dialogue and write their interactions and responses in a Roleplay format, interacting with other characters that are in their event(s). The roleplay will constantly surround the clan and the characters, focusing on the relationships, history, dangers, and disasters. Follow the paws of the mountain cats and see these warriors' for yourself. Updates on moons will be added to Discussion* and Main*
ii. About Irisclan.
The clan centers around each character's events in a moon. Then, people who've claimed these cats to roleplay as, will then add dialogue and responses as that character creating a Roleplay. This Roleplay will be much faster than a normal paced Roleplay, moons will pass every IRL 4 days or when everyone is done with their interactions for that moon. Chain replying , and quickly replying is encouraged. If you feel like you're holding back the roleplay, then feel free to do those two things.
Reminder - You are the cat(s) you claimed. Please try to use the ones you claimed regularly. People will be forced to NPC your character, or adopt your character. If you chose to let go of your character, someone else is free to claim them.

Planning Draft (Before BBCode) - ii. Rules & Clan Rulesi. Rules
i. FORUM RULES - Please abide by forum rules when posting, roleplaying, and even in conversations. Please check them here* and here*.
ii. TOPICS - I do not allow homophobia, transphobia, racism, or xenophobia, ableism or any other topic in my roleplays or posts. Keep this to none, please! Drama including outside cats are allowed but lets not get it to a drastic measure please.
iii. ON LEAVE - When you join, please post at least once for at least two weeks, please let us know in the Discussion* page if anything ever happens. Obviously, you'll be excused. Let any of us know please, we'll need to NPC or schedule a adoption for your character.
iv. LEGIBILITY - Please make your posts readable, as for myself, I have a hard time reading things if they're all jumbled misspelled text, so please keep that to a minimum.
v. JOINING - When you join, make sure you fill out the form completely, and neatly, and please know what character(s) you'll be wanting to claim, and make sure you'll be able to handle all of them. You'll be needing to use them for their interactions. Below is a claiming post, make sure to read it to join.
vi. ROLEPLAY POSTS - Dramatic overpowered characters are PROHIBITED, cats MUST follow their interactions in the moon, and Starclan will choose their fate, cats will die, mess up on patrols and suffer. This is part of the game and WILL happen, if you fail to do so, you will be removed and someone will take or npc that cat. Although, a person MAY choose to ignore a interaction if it is or feels against their cat to do so. But not a canon event.
vii. INTERACTIONS - You may roleplay your interactions with yourself, but keep it to a minimum, UNLESS it is told to do so by the moon. Otherwise, it may cause people to suffer in moving on into their interactions slowing the roleplay down quite a bit.
viii. CHARACTERS - You may have multiple characters, or one. But please remember to use them all. If you don't you may be leaving some people unavailable to use their characters for important interactions and events. PLEASE do not choose to claim multiple characters if you cannot handle it. It WILL slow the roleplay down.
ix. POSTING - Preferably no one liners, make it easier for people to interact with you and make your character more interesting! This will be considered a SEMI-LITERATURE Roleplay, I will allow 3-4 sentences minimum. NO less. This makes it easier to interact with and faster to move along.
x. OOC (OUT OF CHARACTER) - When you go out of character, please make lines or icons to make it out of character. Use () // || \\ {} [] or anything that makes you feel comfortable! But please make it aware.
xi. MOONS - Any plots being made must be brought to Discussion* there we will talk about it, please take it upon yourself or other people to make a omen that no one agreed to, remember there's other people in this roleplay, not a fanfic.
ii. Clan rules
i. Expanded Mode - This Clangen world is in Expanded mode, this means more interactions will be made, and things will move a lot freely.
ii. Mass Extinction is off - This will be off until the clan hits 20 or more cats.
iii. Dead cats can fade away - This setting is turned on, if there's anyone who objects please go to discussion.
iv. Affairs turned on - This setting is turned on, cats may have affairs with their partner, if anyone objects, please to discussion.
v. Same-sex couples giving birth - This setting is turned off, cats in homoerotic relationships may not give birth, if anyone objects please go to discussion.
vi. Same-sex couples adopting - This setting is turned on, cats in homosexual relationships may adopt as they please. This will NOT be objected.
vii. Cats with unknown parents - This setting is turned on, if there's anyone who objects, please go to discussion.
viii. Romantic interactions with former mentors - This setting is turned off. This will NOT be objected.
ix. First cousin mating - This setting is turned off. This will NOT be objected.
x. Leaders automatically choose deputies - This setting is turned on, this allows moons to move freely and faster with allowing nuance. If anyone objects, please go to discussion.
xi. All apprentices graduate on experience only - This setting is turned on, this allows cats to have nuance. If anyone objects, please go to discussion.
xii. Cats will choose to retire or not based on their permanent condition - This setting is turned on, cats may not be ablest, and some may choose to live their life freely even if held back by a permanent condition. This will NOT be objected.
xiii. Warriors and Elders can choose to become mediators - This setting is turned on, this allows cats to choose freely in which role they want to provide in. If anyone objects this please go to discussion.

Planning Draft (Before BBCode) - iii. Info and OverviewMOONS
Every 3 - 5 days the new moon will be posted, depending on how fast or slow the roleplay goes. When a new moon is posted, you'll see a summary in which your character interacts and their actions.
How do I react or respond to these actions / interactions? - If you're seen doing a action, you'll be acting out this scene with you or other casts / people so they can interact with you, if you're to interact with a event or action. You'll be required to interact and respond to these events. All cat reactions are based off of how they feel, and what they think. This builds the scene and helps build the characters, certain interactions and events gives cats relationship points, experience points, and lets cats know what's up!
What do I interact or act out? - You'll be required to do these every moon that you're listed in. You should use your description and your thoughts to help you interact or make a action. These are the three responses you might need to respond to! Moon events, Patrol events, and relationship actions.
Moon events - These are events that will be posted around 3 - 5 days. These events surround the whole clan, usually. If your cat is directly involved this surrounding event, you're required to act out a action for other cats to interact with you.
Patrol events - These events are posted every ending or middle of the moon. How the patrol goes is dependent on the summary you get when it's posted. Your cat will only go on patrol if they're healthy. If your cat is the leader of the patrol, you should start of with an action!
Relationship actions - These are smaller interactions that happen each moon, these actions happen a lot between the same, different or multiple cats! These are things that are like conversations, sharing tongues, arguments, or shared meals! These mostly help boost your relationship stats for different cats!
PATROLS
In between every moon, I will assign a patrol, these patrols will be assigned every ENDING or MIDDLE of a moon. When a new patrol is posted, every summary will help decide your actions and interactions. The way I'll be assigning patrols are through here
Herb gathering - +1 Med (+1 Apprentice) +1 Random cat Border Patrol - +3 random cats Hunting - +3 Random cats Training - +2 Random cats
Random cats may vary depending on if they have apprentices~
If you want to be guaranteed to be selected, or deselected from patrols, please do so in the BEGINNING of the moon, please head to discussion to do so.
CLAIMING
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO READ IN ORDER TO ROLEPLAY. If you'd like to join, go to the claiming page! Please fill out the form on the page neatly for the character you want to claim.
After you're reading the rules and this page. The disclaimer you'll need to copy and paste into your character's claiming form will be
I (Insert username here) hereby acknowledge that this is not a normal roleplay, and in fact a CLANGEN roleplay, failure to comply to the rules will cause me to lose my character or wait until I can use them again.
WAITLIST - This is a waitlist incase if all of the cats in Irisclan are all claimed until a loner joins, or kits are born. - None yet.
RELATIONSHIPS
Relationship stats are gained or lost by - Relationship actions - Patrolling actions - Moon events
What your cat's stats may be effected are Romantic like Platonic like Dislike Respect Comfort Jealousy Trust
All relationship stats differ between cats in the clan or outside of the clan. These values are important in the meaning of roleplay and actions that happen in certain events.
TOGGLES
Toggles are something you can enable your cat to do or not to do, these can be changed at any time! Please go to discussion to toggle or untoggle a action.
Prevent kits - This prevents your cat from adopting or giving birth and having kits. This is for if you don't want to be a parent. Limit romance - This toggle prevents your cat from getting into or accepting relationships and mate requests, this also disables flirting interactions. Refuse affairs - This is a custom toggle where I'll limit romance for your character, so it disallows your cat to have a affair. Dark forest - This is a toggle where you can decide where you want to put your characters faith into.
UNCHANGEABLE - Become a loner - This is a toggle you CANNOT change, this is a custom toggle where I'll exile your cat, but you'll be able to roleplay freely and interact with border patrols. You'll only be able to interact with patrols.
Some of these toggles are interchangeable, go to discussion to untoggle or toggle these! WARNING - These will change your characters life. Although, you can change them, make sure you feel comfortable with using them!
