yikes!! i actually just closed the vent to my room bc i was getting too cold im doing alright as well! tired from work, but finally finished some replies in a diff clan, trying to gauge if i have any juices left to get out some starters for here - or at the very least finish Beedance's form and maybe a couple others...Oh??? 👀 and others?? |

Oh, and I also had some ideas for new characters. I'll make one of them once we are allowed to make apprentices again. This one would be named Wavepaw and he'd be an entertainer apprentice. Has a hard time talking to other cats unless he's acting and stuff. Barely gets a word out around others, except maybe for a small number of cats he's comfortable with, but really shines on stage. It doesn't help because he thinks the clan only loves his on-stage persona, not the real him
The other isn't names yet and I haven't decided on their gender yet either but I think I'd pick that cat for the plot Juno suggested. The one where the gods choose their champions. This cat unfortunately gets way too cocky upon finding out to the point of becoming super insufferable. Ignoring rules because surely no one will punish someone so special, taking risks because if they're chosen then the gods will surely protect them. Stuff like that. And before that they were a friendly but somewhat proud cat who could sometimes be easily offended but would also quickly calm down again and apologize if they got too defensive

Yay ^^ In that case Imma claim one of those two apprentice spots for Wavepaw. I'll start working on his form once I'm back. And thanks, thought it would be fun to have a cat like that for that plot! Oh, and I forgot to mention. Junospower , I don't mind if any of my cats appear as cameos for what you write for Rainpaw. But Antlerpaw would make the most sense because like her littermates, she sees Rain as an honorary big brother. If you write about a time when they were all kits though Antler hasn't begun to discover herself yet so she'd go by he at that time |

Roleplay SummaryTwo days ago, a wild storm hit the clan, causing a massive flash flood that took the final life of the previous leader (Laurelstar), who died saving the apprentice Rainpaw (as roleplayed by Junospower), and the deputy, Fignose, who "supposedly" drowned in the flood. (Aka, everyone thinks he drowned, but its just a little more complicated than that). Now, two days later, the young and inexperienced and undersocialized medicine cat Puddleheart (roleplayed by me) is left to choose a new leader for the clan with the guidance of the elders and the will of the gods. So, he starts up the age old tradition called the Lightning Games, a series of trials set by Puddleheart and the gods that allow every eligible cat in the clan (fighters, hunters, and scouts who have trained an apprentice) a chance to compete to become leader. Currently, the cats who wish to participate are searching for a token to put in Laurelstar's nest to symbolize that they're competing. Meanwhile, Thundersnap took a border patrol out with Cedarfrost and Cloudpaw, while Mothflutter, Stoatchase, their apprentices, and Pikepaw went out hunting, though the apprentices split off from their mentors and Pikepaw struck out on her own. Puddleheart is on his way to speak with the gods at the Alter of the Gods with Cloverpounce as his escort. The first trial will be that night, at dusk, and all those who wish to enter have to put a token in the nest before the last light of day fades. soot (gonna tag you to make sure you see it)
