So to catch you up to speed

Laurelstar and her deputy Fignose both died in a flood two days ago and so now the clan is hosting a series of games to determine who will be the new leader. The decision is ultimately Puddleheart’s to make, but he’s like 15 moons old and just a baby and has very little socialization bc the old medicine cat Pomegranatefur was so so old when she died and spent his entire apprenticeship training him

Right now, all the cats who want to compete (fighters, hunters, and scouts with a trained apprentice) are looking for a token to symbolize themselves to put in Laurelstar’s nest to show they will be competing on the first game

maybe Archsong could be Sandyhawk's little sister? which would make her Orangesky's aunt, with Rainpaw and Sagekit her cousins and Sandyhawk's nephews

i think out of the cats i have that might work would be a possible romance between Hyacinth and Moth? they're just the closest in age rn

Also interesting with Moth and Hyacinth, I’m up for exploring it, tho I also like to think that Moth is a loser when it comes to romance and has zero rizz so this may have to be a slow burn situation

Oh, good idea! So far I think there are only two mothers for the apprentices. Archsong for Rainpaw, and Whimbrelstep for Fawnpaw, Antlerpaw, Ivypaw and Mintpaw. So yeah, plenty of apprentices left who are open to a mother

@ Smore - i'd be down to explore it to! it would def be the slowest of burns, idk what his vibes are like but Hyacinth isn't exactly the easiest cat to get along with. she's just ambitious and gets tunnel vision when it comes to reaching her goals (if not being the next leader, definitely striving to be the best hunter of Myrtleclan) so if someone's able to bring her back to reality she might be more appreciative of that in the long run

Smore - had to google Draco because I didn't remember who he was. but now that I'm looking at a photo of Draco Malfoy confirms it for me that he probably is like him lowkey.
