Flickerpaw being incredibly full of herself and thinking shes the smartest vs the fact that she has 0 clue about these traditions because she never listened as a kit

Thanks so much! This makes much more sense now! Okay so basic rundown of new cat #1

Marigoldskip will be an entertainer who primarily worships Choróthea (and maybe Íliosikieos too) She is a very flouncy cat who loves frolicking around. She is a bit oblivious and doesn't care much for the games. She may root for a couple of the more popular cats though!

I think I'll make my second character an elder! Don't have any solid ideas for them yet

One day, we’re for sure introducing nymph cats, I wanna dive head first into the mythology aspect and that includes nymphs and stuff

She’s bi/ace and she has a very calm sort of presence to her, often more of a listener than a talker, though she’s also very open and affectionate, I think she’d be open to poly

As for Panther and Torrent, I’m interested in both— but I think I wanna go withhhhh Panther maybe? He’ll probably whine to Sable about wanting to join the games but he can’t because he’s too young and was just an apprentice a moon ago.

I’d like to throw a cat of mine into the games, but I haven’t decided which and I don’t think any of them would get far.
Whimbrel wouldn’t be a good leader, but she’s for sure team Stoatstar.
Seal would throw his hat in the ring even though I’d expect him to lose.
Nectar can easily be manipulated because she trusts easily + she loves Thundersnap since he’s her half brother. She’d support him all the way even if his intentions are bad. She’s not too bright.
Torrent cannot be fooled, he’s old but somehow sharp. He trusts Honey and Puddle and that’s about it lol.
Panther’s too stuck in his own head to care about siding with a cat for leader.

Even if she doesn't make it far Brightpaw will be happy about it anyway. For him it's already good enough that she entered at all and at least tried. As important as the games are for the future of the clan to Bright it's mostly about fun

Nice! He jsut seems like a good fit for mintpaw being a dreamer/mystic I fele he would have the patience for mintpaw's....mintpawness

He'd definitely be patient with him and in a way he'd even understand his obsession with leaves. While he of course doesn't know for sure just what Mintpaw finds so great about them he doesn't have to. He gets fascinated with the most mundane things for no real reason so he would never think Mintpaw's leaf obsession is weird

Yea, that's the reason I came up with too. It will probably also happen with other prefixes if a canon character was important enough xD And yea, mentor/apprentice duo or not, Mint and Dark would definitely get along well. And since they're both entertainers they'll see each other a lot

Also, because of all the Greek stuff I've been wondering. Nothing that would be relevant for the rp, just something I'm curious about. You guys know the story with Orpheus and Eurydice? Where Orpheus went to the underworld to retrieve her, had to walk in front of her and wasn't allowed to look back until both got out? And how he screwed up by looking back at her too soon? Well, for some reason I've been wondering how our characters would do this if they wanted to recover a loved one from the underworld. Which ones would succeed and which ones would mess this up? Like I said, it's not relevant in the slightest, it's just something I got curious about
For mine, Cedarfrost and Cloudpaw would definitely be able to do this right. Heronflight too, I think. Brightpaw is one of the unfortunate ones who would look back and he'd never forgive himself for it. Antlerpaw might be able to succeed but there is a small chance she'd screw up too. Can't say much about Sagekit, I don't know yet how he'd act. As he is right now though, a small kit, he'd definitely look back. As for my new ones, I think all three would be able to do it. Especially Ripplefur

funniest part about writing Flickerpaw is that she is so judgemental which means I can be mean to my own characters
