im working on golden's reply right now and i have come to the conclusion that her and grey need some happiness down the road
they should get another chance at being parents (perhaps in newleaf when we get there)

wisteriaโs parenting either molds them into feeling like they have to prove themselves, or in rattlepaws case to shut down, the poor girl
i feel like silent jabs back at her now that sheโs older, but she used to have really bad episodes like rattlepaw as a younger apprentice
i am also tempted to make a new character + a kit or two for the upcoming litters

plot twist, they discover an abandoned wolf pup and oops now it's grey/golden's child
i am all for them either finding a kit/litter or miraculously golden does become pregnant again
poor silent ;w;
it makes sense that she would have spells like Rattle does, especially during her apprenticeship since Wisteria was probably the hardest on them all during their training. As she saw Silent advance her "like" for Silent increased, so she was less naggy and probably publicly love-bombed Silent more. Wisteria probably played the role of proud mother so easily when Flint and Silent were named warriors

|| I can't decide which I love more, Golden becoming pregnant again and being scared the same thing will happen. Or mothering an orphaned litter. The parralel of Golden losing her litter and a litter losing their mother, only to find each other... ow.
ETA: ooooooow and Golden maybe being a little worried that Grey wont love a litter that isn't his as much as he did his own flesh and blood. Only to absolutey fall in love.
His daughters would absolutely be daddies girls.

the fact that Rattle is the best cat for Silent to go to about her hallucinations is so sad, this family is already so tragic ;w;
headcanon that eagle took rattle out for one (1) singular training session and while he was showing her a battle move, rattle just silently disappeared when he wasn't looking her way
