In other news our queens curse seems to have crossed into my clangen files.

My medicine cat had a litter that promptly both died to kitten cough. So I spent the next few moons crossing fingers for a new litter. In the meantime she adopted a kitten found in the wild, who was killed accidentally crossing the border. She then gets pregnant again - onto to frigging die kitting.

the pregnancy chaos within clangen is real, my current clan can't avoid it.

I have 1 medicine cat that's 132 moons old that is pregnant (I'm excited for her) plus an elder who's 141 moons old that's pregnant. I'm assuming the latter will die from kitting because of her age. although, a moon ago, one of my other elders that's over 155+ moons had a kit and is alive so //shrug
I've got way too many cats that have the omen or dreaming trait now ;a; and none of them wanna be medicine cats or mediators.

I’m trying to figure out who Swiftstream could be related to. He’s between 30 and 36 moons old. Exact age undecided to make things easier. Does anyone have room for him as a child or sibling? He could also use some friends.

Also trying to figure some story lines for him. Sadly most of ones I was considering are already in use here. Any suggestions?

I actually don’t really care about genetics with Swiftstream since he’s kinda all over the place with unusual markings. Pointed marble or classic tabby. Those are recessive traits so as long as both parents carry them, he could work.

I was thinking his mom had a fling with two toms, so he and his littermate(s) have different dads. Maybe this causes problems? Other than that, I don’t know.

He could also be Aspensong’s littermate; his bio said he’s mellow but likes hanging out with more outgoing cats, so maybe his big beefy sister could be the “exCUSE me he asked for NO PICKLES” counterbalance to his easygoing attitude and like. Punch anybody who calls him lazy or something idk

As for storylines… hm. For a go-with-flow kind of dude like Swift, being forced to choose a side in the whole Paintedmask vs Briarstar schism could be an interesting conflict for him? Just tossing out ideas.
