what all is in mind for the current plot revolving the whispering and flinthawkโs death? i assume itโs like dark forest-esque? but i could be wrong

So in my head itโs a little bit like the storyline with Tigerclaw and Redtail but Briarstar caught onto what was happening (though too late as the previous leader was at this point very sick). Briarstar didnโt think anyone would believe her so hid the body and made it appear like a wild animal attack.
I think it would be fun to involve the dark forest a little, but I donโt know if thatโs too complex off the bat?im happy to see how members feel like it should evolve and develop once the truth outs about the โMurderโ whether they believe her or not. I think Flinthawk should have been a very charismatic, liked Tom who managed to keep the darker aspects of his personality very hidden but he was always ambitious and bloodthirsty

i was thinking silentshadow, was formerly briarstarโs apprentice. and ever since her fathers death their relationship quickly crumbled to nothing because grief+silentpaw just being herself. and since the death she has this โfeelingโ not to trust her mentor. and lately this feeling has grown into dreams and whispers, she often sees briar in her dreams but she isnt sure why. this can manifest into a visit from her father and he gives her a hint, and she investigates and outs it?
pls let me know if its too much

|| I think itโs a really interesting idea, but if itโs okay I might ask you to narrow down your roles a little. Not to sound rude, but deputy, leaders mate and possibly quite a large role in the plot (or the unravelling of it) might be a bit too much at once. Could you please choose 2?

ik i can go a little overboard
but I like Eagleswoop being Briarstarโs mate, and I want silent to have some part in the plot, but it doesnt have to be as big. I just know sheโd feel ultimately betrayed at the reveal.

|| I really like Eagle and Briar together I think theyโd be cute and Silent is fine to have that role. So maybe deputy can go to someone else

It's up to you, I guess. Do you think he'd believe the leader, believe Flinthawk? not sure? Would he be for Briar being removed/exiled for her role in the murder? something else?

If any apprentices still need mentors I can offer Wisteria! I think sheโd be an interesting mentor to have - not as vile and abusive as she is toward her kits, but certainly a strict mentor who expects a lot out of any apprentice she has.
Iโm also debating on making an older senior warrior/already elderly tom thatโs the father of somebodyโs cat if anybody wants a character with an elderly father o;
Other than that all my kitties are open for roleplay if anybody is interested!

Totally fine :) I would need to finger it out a little, but I'm thinking that if/when the truth comes out, Gingerflame would stand with Briarstar. 1) because she scares him a little 2) depends on how the clan responds but he would want them to stay strong and not turn of their leader |
