Good to see so many familiar "faces"! Ah , guess no worries on "plagiarism" since I won't post unpublished original stuff here. Just my NEW BLOOD stuff. My published stuff is copyright protected anyway but I wouldn't post them here either. The old Forums let one copy and paste so I guess here is no different, tho many of us know each other's stories so we'd l know if some noob stole stuff.

I'm thinking about hosting some sort of prompt contest type dealio here on these forums, since Tues is moving her challenges to Figment?
Idk what do y'all think?
I may bring back Raw & Unedited
Or just go with a more generic weekly prompt contest.
Any comments/suggestions on that?

I have a fanfic idea and I've done some planning for it, though I still need to do some more (especially character development) before I actually start writing it. And I would love to post a thread for it soon but I think I'm going to try to have several chapters written before I even post anything here, just because I feel like that will give me more motivation to keep going/not abandon the thread and make it easier to keep my thread up and going at first while I write farther into the story. ^^

Well, I'm sure some of us would be willing to critique your writing. Ex. helping you improve emotion, character development, if the plot is moving too fast/slow, etc. or even grammar stuff. It'd just depend on what your writing is specifically like. And then as you wrote more/posted that writing, we would tell you what you did better and what you could still improve on. It's a process, but getting others' input is really good and I know there are some people here who give awesome advice. I'm probably not the absolute best writing critic here, but I could probably help you with a few basic tips, anyway. c:

Kinda a newbie on the fanfic forums, but I'm writing one kind of based on Emperor's New Clothes by Panic! At The Disco (plenty a reference to the song and other Panic! songs) (Hell, there even might be references to MCR and FOB, if you look hard enough  ) |

@wolflover: I'd be willing to help you out too! All you gotta do is be brave and start posting some writing of yours that you want to share. Me and others will come and give you advice and help as you need it. Emotion is a big part of writing, and there are lots of authors here that are very well versed in it. If you ever need anything feel free to message me as well!
