In online spaces, I prefer they/them pronouns simply because I generally prefer to stay anonymous on the internet and people I don’t know calling me she/her feels too… personal, I guess?? And sometimes I just don’t want internet strangers making assumptions about me based on that. Is that weird???
Im a cisgender female that uses she/her pronouns irl tho. It’s only online that it feels awkward for some reason. :^/

I'm find with people knowing I'm female and sometimes it comes up in conversations when pertinent, but I guess I don't like to... advertise it? Idk just don't see a point in doing so. Also it's funny how often people assume I'm a man when given no clear indicators lol

I'm non-binary and I prefer they/them pronouns. However, due to me being physically male, everyone IRL and even online automatically assumes I go by he/him, and I don't feel comfortable correcting them, so I've learned to roll with it. While I don't identify by he/him I've grown used to it to the point I don't really mind.
Then again, on the Internet, the default assumption by most is anyone and everyone they encounter is he/him. I've seen many female creators, artists, etc. and their first-time commenters are labelling them under "standard" male pronouns.

You know how there’s a “rule of the internet” (I think it’s #30) that women don’t exist online? I feel it’s reversed in the Warrior Cats community. So I claim to be a guy here, but it’s up to y’all to trust me or not.

yall remember the mate dens on the old forums where people would pretend to be boys to basically romance roleplay with dozens of girls? And half the people were like "out" with their fake boy profiles and doing it for fun but a lot of people were stealth with it? And then there was drama when their fake "boyfriends" admitted their main accounts?
anyways, I didn't do the mate dens but I did have a second account that I introduced myself as a dude and that was really a defining point in my Gender Questioning so thanks to the old forums for being a safe space to try that out uh
old forum crazy(affectionate)
Apparently it is not normal to be upset when someone uses feminine pronouns for you. Or to feel offended when asked to join groups and clubs for women. So I'm not that. And I'm sad when people assume I wouldn't want to be a part of men's groups. So I guess I fit more in that basket. But I think if I asked people to use masculine pronouns for me online, I'd get too depressed when I can't be out irl so.

So I claim to be a guy here, but it’s up to y’all to trust me or not. I've always found this funny because in my time of being online the majority of people I've met have been women, but I don't play video games, so that could be a factor of that
