᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃ Roseclan was made long ago, before the birds were known to tweet, and the sun was known to sink. It was made after the creation of the clans before it, although not long after. It was formed over bloodshed, when cats wanted to leave the tyrannical rule of a leader. The leader, whose name has been chosen to be forgotten, ruled his clan in a harsh way. He punished cats who didn't bring back "enough" prey, or when they disobeyed his words. The cats who first broke off from Chrysanthemumclan are now known as the Rose Rebels, in hope to create a safe haven encouraging true love (red) mystery (blue), innocence or purity (white), friendship (yellow), and passion (orange)*. This started off as just a few cats, looking for a territory in the valley far enough away from Chrysanthemumclan. They found one, right outside of Chrysanthemumclan's borders. At the time, they were small enough to remain unnoticed by others, planning carefully on how they were going to bring Chrysanthemumclan down. Over time, cats heard of the new group, and left their clan(s) to join them. And, over time, cats started to talk. Talk about the whispers of a new clan. Chrysanthemumclan's leader was not happy. He had "Lost" many cats to this new 'clan'. They thought, it was time to do something about it. Over the next season, war raged on, one leader fighting with rage, the other group fighting for freedom. Finally, after the season of battles and bloodshed, it stopped. Some say that Chrysanthemumclan's leader died. Others say that the gods intervened. Whatever happened, Roseclan bloomed, finding its ways over time and even, developing a better relationship with Chrysanthemumclan.
「 ✦ Territory ✦ 」 ᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃ The territory of the clans is a large valley, with a river running through it. On the West side of the river, up to the North, is Chrysanthemumclan's territory. They're values are friendship, happiness, and well-being. Up to the North on the East side is Poppyclan's territory. They are known for consolation, and remembrance. Down to the south on the West side is Roseclan's territory. They're values are love, mystery, innocence or purity, friendship, and passion. Down to the South on the River's East side is NasturtiumClan. There're values are passion, joy, enthusiasm, and hidden beauty.
Roseclan's territory is made up of a deciduous forest, containing cherry blossom, birch, and oak trees. The river that cuts through the valley is thick, but not fast, meaning that Roseclan cats can swim across the river when trained.
Camp - A slope leading up to a small clearing. The entrance is open, but the barrier is a bramble thicket with flowers woven into the seams.
Leader's Den: A den at the highest point of the camp. Right next to the tall log. Nest is made of moss and rose petals.
Warrior's Den: The den is next to the Nursery, on the left side. The nests are made of moss. Apprentice's Den: Small den next to the pile of logs. Apprentices usually stay up late and tell ghost stories. They usually use the logs to sharpen their claws before training.
Nursery: Located in the middle of the Medicine den and Warrior's den. Large and wide. Nests are made of moss and rose petals.
Medicine den: The second largest den in camp. To the right of the nursery. The back of the den is where the Medicine cat sleeps along with the herb storage. Closer to the front is where the sick cats sleep. In emergencies, the sick cats are moved to the Erie Cave.
Valley Falls - Valley Falls is a Waterfall found deep in Roseclan's territory. The water is deepest closest to the falls, and shallower closer to shore. This is where many Roseclan's apprentices first learn how to swim, and the soothing sound of the waterfall brings others here to relax after a long day.
Training Meadow - The Training Meadow is a flat plateau with many flowers blooming there during the seasons of Blossom-Petal and Sun-Fire. During the season of Amber-Hue, the flowers in the meadow are as vibrant as ever, saying a farewell before Frost-Claw. This is also place that apprentices learn they're first battle maneuvers and hunting crouches.
Erie Cave - The Erie Cave is found on the southern side of the Territory. This is the place that the medicine cat(s) of Roseclan find most of their herbs here, as well as some scattered around the territory. The real secret of this cave is the small pool of water on the far side. Medicine cats take Rose Petals and put them into the water, using it to treat cats with colds and given to nursery queens after kitting.
Moon-Pass - Rocky Pass past the Northern side of the river. This is the place that all the clans meet with their ancestors. In the middle of the pass, there is a large rock known as the Star-Stone. Leader's go here to receive their nine lives, and Medicine cats go here to share with Star-Clan. There are no planned Medicine Cat gatherings, instead, when Starclan calls, the medicine cats gather.

Nasturtiumclan was the first clan to settle in the valley. At the time, they were a large group of cats, taking up most of the valley for their camps. The main camp rested on the flat part of the land, and they called it the moor. They were known as the orange camp. The camp to the North of them they called the Red camp. Across the river to the north they called the yellow camp, and to the south was the maroon camp. Over time, the one leader of NasturtiumClan couldn't lead everycat anymore. So, he sent messengers to each camp. It took a season, but four different clans were formed. NasturtiumClan, Poppyclan, Chrysanthemumclan, and Daliaclan. The Daliaclan cats were soft, and they gave everything away. The next season, they were gone. The other three clans mourned the loss of the clan for a time, but eventually everyone moved on.

NasturtiumClan's territory is a flat moor with rolling hills to the south, and scattered trees to the east. Their camp is found close to their border with Roseclan, near the water. Some NasturtiumClan cats are resentful of Roseclan for settling on Daliaclan's land, even though that happened SEASONS ago.
Camp - NasturtiumClan's camp is inside a damp cave,. Even though it is inside a cave, their is still plenty of light. The entrance is a tall cave entrance.
Leader's Den - The leader's den is located closest to the camp entrance, behind the clef of rock known as the leader's ledge. Uses prairie grass for nests.
Warrior's Den - This den is located in the back of the den, so in case of emergency, the warriors can help out the younger cats get out.
Apprentice's Den - This den is on the left wall of the cave, right across the clearing from the medicine den.
Nursery - This is the largest den, located on the left wall closer to the entrance.
Medicine Cat Den - This den is on the right wall of the den, close to the leaders den. Close to the front of the den is the place where the medicine cat(s) sleep as well as the herb storage. In the back is where the sick cats sleep.
Outlook Rock - On this rock you can look over the entire moor. Mentors take their apprentices to train here, and apprentices sit their vigil here after they become warriors.
Starfish Lakes - A series of small deep lakes where NasturtiumClan apprentices learn to swim.
White-Flower Burial Grounds - This is the place where NasturtiumClan cats come to bury their dead. On the way to Gatherings and the Moon-Pass cats come here to remember their dead. Rosemary and Catmint are also found here.

Iris star walked away from Jay Thorn, her deputy, as she just finished confirming tomorrow's dawn and dusk patrol, she changed her path to the elders den, she saw a elder whisper as she traveled inside, that elder was a warrior when she entered the clan as a kit, no a "Half clan kit" her mother was born in rose clan, while her father was born here, many cats warmed up to her after a while, some stayed the same, cranky cats. - She sat by her father in the den and gave him a comforting lick "Hello father," ... "Hello my iris flower" he responded in a raspy voice, he had a small flu and was not getting enough sleep, she spoke up and said "Get some sleep will yah? or you'll turn into one of those cranky elders!" she let out a hushed mrrow of laughter as she got up, her tail struck straight up and she gently walked out the den letting the sunlight soak in her fur, she paused and went to her den. |

Petalstar | Talking to Spottedgaze | Roseclan Camp | Ember34
Petalstar padded back into camp, the sunhigh sun gleaming high above their heads. Cherrybark and Mireblaze had been with them, and she signaled for the two to go and eat. They had been hunting all morning and they deserved a rest. She padded over to her deputy, Spottedgaze and sat down next to him. "How was the dawn Patrol this morning?" She asked, hoping all was well.
Cherrybark | Getting back from Hunting Patrol| Roseclan Camp | Open
Cherrybark padded into camp behind their patrol, happy with their hunting for the day. The Frost - Claw snow had finally melted, and Blossom - Petal had brought much needed prey to the land. But now, after an entire morning of hunting she was tired, and hungry. She sat down in the sunshine to eat her squirrel, a cool breeze whooshing through the camp. Cherrybark thought that Sun - Fire was close, with the past few days being hot and dry. I hope we get rain soon. I would hate to have a bare territory in the middle of Sun - Fire.
Beepaw | Cleaning out the apprentices bedding |Roseclan Camp | Open (Maybe accompanied by Rasppaw?)
Beepaw dragged his nest out of den, stopping to survey the camp. Nothing much going on. What he really wanted was his brother to just pop out of the tunnel and say; "I made a mistake! I love you and Roseclan!" And everything would be good again. But, Beepaw knew that any such thing would ever happen. Even if Sagepaw wanted to come back, he knew that Petalstar would never let him. Beepaw's shoulders sagged, and he finished dragging his nest to the dirtplace. He had done this many times, cleaning out the bedding of every den when he wasn't doing anything. It helped to be doing something so we wasn't just alone with his thoughts. Now, as he looked into the empty den, he realized that he would need to leave camp to collect more moss. Well, Maybe Rasppaw will go with me, we both need a nest, after all. Beepaw decided to ask. "Hey Rasppaw, would you like to go and collect moss with me? I just cleaned out our den and we need moss to make a nest"

Spottedgaze-Roseclan Camp-Petalstar(Dew Spottedgaze had been resting, mauling over the events of the dawn patrol, the tom giving a small jolt when a voice snapped him from his thoughts. Looking to Petalstar he flicked his ear as she asked how the patrol was. " It was fine for the most part," he answered. " But...we might have a badger on the territory. We tried to track the scent for as long as we could but we eventually lost it. I plan to get another patrol soon to ensure that it is gone. But how abkut the hunting patrol?" He had seen the leader take his sister, Mireblaze, and Cherrybark out on the patrol, both were excellent hunters. Looking to the sky briefly as he debated on who to send out on the patrol to check that everything was fine on the territory, he hated the thought of something going wrong with Sun-Fire so close. Rasppaw-Roseclan Camp-BeepawRasppaw had been on the look out for her mentor when she heard Beepaw. Looking to her fellow apprentice she gave him a grin. " Sure, I would be happy to help you with that. We both use the den so it's only fair," she said padding to be beside him. She was eager to get out if camp, and while it might not be for training, getting to ensure the den they both called home and spending time with Beepaw outside a training setting seemed like a great way to spend her time. "Want to see who can carry te biggest moss ball back?" While they wouldn't need a lot with only two nests needing to be made, they could always use the excess to bring to the medicine cat den, so it could be used to get sick cats water.I'll get starters for my other characters up tomorrow)

Petalstar frowned. A badger? On their territory? She dung her claws into the dirt, nervous. "The scent trail stopped? Or Faded?" She asked, hoping that the badger would be long gone by now.

It was jsut moss collecting after all! " Hmm, we could try the valley falls, since moss grows near water sources?" Mireblaze_Roseclan Camp-OpenAfter the she cat nodded her head in farwell to Petalstar, she placed the fresh squirrel onto the fresh kill pile, before selecting a small mouse that hadn't been chosen from the pile, other cats would far enjoy the bigger pieces then she would. Settling off to the side of the entrance that led into the warriors den, enjoying the warmth from the sun she began to eat the mouse. A small purr in her throat as she enjoyed her selection for her meal. Cinnamonsun-Roseclan Camp-OpenThe she cat exited from the warriors den, a yawn escaping from her, she had been on the dawn patrol and had taken a small nap since she had gotten back to try get a bit mroe sleep to be happy to face the rest of the day. Giving a few licks to her fur before moving to look around the camp, she wasn't up for going out on another patrol at least right now, but at least talking to someone would be a good way to get herself woken up. She gave a look towards the fresh kill pile, before shaking her head she wasn't all that hungry right now. Hazeheart-Leaving Roseclan Camp-OpenHazeheart was moving towards the entrance of camp, pausing to let the apprentices pass through first. They were just planning a short walk, maybe going out to the training meadow just to go over a few moves, as it never hurt to practice just to know they haven't forgotten anything. They gave a brief gance but saw Petalstar and Spottedgaze where in a conversation, and deciding it would be rude to interrupt just to report their depature from camp they headed out to leave. Runningsurge-Roseclan Territory-OpenRunningsurge had been out on the territory, the tom having decided to depart after the hunting patrol had with plans of hunting as well, it was something to be productive for the clan. Right now his sights was set on a mouse that was nibbling on a seed. Crouching close to the ground as he made his advancements towards the prey, waiting for the right moment, he hadn't fully paid attention to where he had placed his last paw and a twig snapped underneath it, loud enough that it sent the mouse rushing for cover. " Foxdung," he muttered standing up. Duskpaw and Dawnpaw-Nasturtiumclan Camp-OpenThe two apprentices were off to the side so they wouldn't be in the way, as the tow of them practiced their battle moves. Duskpaw rushed forward and sprang forward trying to get as much force as he could behind the jump, only to crash into thr ground as Dawnpaw simply ducked over his jump. "You need to be not so headstrong about attacking," Dawnpaw commented shaking out her fur as she straightened out, before springing and pinning her brother to the ground. "Otherwise you are going to just get yourself into situationsthat could have been avoided." Duskpaw struggled beneath her as he growled irritated.
Brinyglide-Outlook Rock-Open Brinyglide settled on the rock overlooking the moor, a quiet hum on their throat as they thought to themself. They weren't sure what they were after being out of camp, but it was far more appealing to try find something to do then just wait around for it to happen. And if it didn't they didn't mind, that was life. Their fur relaxed as they moved away from the rock's edge, things seemed fine from what they could see of the moor. Stop being so mousebrained. They scolded themself, sending a few quick licks to.their paw beflre swiping it across their face.
Ruewhisper-Nasturtiumclan Camp-Open Ruewhisper rolled his eyes as he moved away from the fresh kill pile after selecting a gopher. Selecting to the side he began to tear at the prey as he began to eat. The tom flicked his tail as he glared at the scrap of prey, he sighed, looking around the camp is gaze landing towards Jay thorn. He stood up burying the scraps he hadn't eaten, he wanted to go ask the deputy about getting out on a patrol, something that would let him show how capable and dependable he could be.
Littlecall-Starfish Lake-Open Littlecall had decided to go for a swim, the warmth of the sun not doing any favors to his dark colored fur. He Dove under the water briefly before popping up and making his way to the shore. Shaking out his fur sending droplets in every which way. Littlecall sat back, as he began to lick at his fur, giving a glance back to the water as he debated on going back in.
Cloudedwind-Nasturtiumclan Warriors Den-Open Cloudedwind had yet to properly leave the warriors den, enjoying the calm and quiet of the den. They knew that eventually they would need to go out and start their day, but right now they wanted to enjoy some peace. They had been out on the Dusk patrol the night prior and so they weren't as well rested compared to their clanmates. Nestling their face against their paws to block out the light to try get a bit more sleep, their ear flicked as the noises outside were growing hard to filter out.

Pinefrost takes a step outside of the medicine cat's den and stretches his limbs. He wanted a moment enjoy the fresh air before diving back into his den. Later on, he would have to go out searching for fresh herbs to replace the old ones.

ValleylilyIn Nasturtium Clan camp with Bluebell, open to other interactions.
Valleylily lay down on the rocky ground, stretching a bit as she lay in the suns rays escaping into the damp cave. She didn't mind her fur being wet with a little bit of dew, or just damp cave precipitation, she lived here and she liked it. She finally got up after a couple moments of just sitting there, thinking, and started to clean herself. Finally Frost-Claw was ending, the cold air would slowly fade away into warm, happy days. She shook her fur quickly as she heard footsteps approaching. "Oh! Bluebell! How've you been this morning?" She jumped up and ran to her sister, eager to talk with her.

Bluebell had just awoken, oddly feeling as energetic as ever, and shuffled around in her nest for a few moments. Perhaps I should clean my nest? It'd give me something to do, she thought. She sat there, and then got up to clean out her nest. She didn't notice another warrior was still asleep before almost stepping on them. Oops, I'm sure they'd be quite mad if I had taken another step back. Making sure to stay quiet and not wake the sleeping warrior, they cleaned their nest a bit and decided they'd finish it later. Padding out of the den, she realized her sister was resting in the clearing. She quickened her pace. "I've just had the best rest ever, it was amazing. But, I almost stepped on a warrior from the Dusk patrol yesterday." She mewed, sitting with her sister and wrapping her tail around them.

Beepaw nodded, that sounded like a good idea. Rasppaw is so smart. "Yeah, I think so" He said, taking the lead. He started off walking through the woods, looking around him. But then, he started running through the woods, eager to get to the Valley Falls. When Beepaw was running, it felt as though he was leaving his problems behind. When they arrived at Valleyfalls, Beepaw was happy to see some moss growing in damp dark patches near the water. "Look there! Moss!"

Ivyrunner wanted to surprise her friend. She knew that Brinyglade had been posted on the Outlook rock this morning, and that was where Ivyrunner was going to find them. There they are! Ivyrunner thought, flatining her dark fur against the high grass. Irisstar had given her perrmission to join Brinyglade on the rock, after she had asked. Closer... Closer... Now she could see that Brinyglade was craning their neck, looking forward.... "Oh Hello Brinyglade, how strange it is to see you here" Ivyrunner said, laughing a bit when Brinyglade jumped.

Yarrowtooth exited the warriors den, looking around the dimly-lit camp. The sun had long been up, but she had been on the night patrol last night, and knew that she would be again. So, she could sleep as much as she wanted. She could see that the hunting patrol had already come back with some prey, so she bent down and snagged a mouse from the pile. Yarrowtooth quickly ate it then left the camp, letting the sun hit her fur. She waded into the shallow pools outside of their camp, a protection from the sun in the open moor.

|| Oatstem || Looking for Rasppaw || Roseclan Territory
Oatstem had been up since dawn, waiting for Rasppaw to wake. While he had been waiting he went on the dawn patrol and rested in camp for a bit. Now, he couldn't find her. Oatstem bit his lip, has she gone off with Beepaw again? A few times when he asked Petalstar she had told him that the two apprentices had left camp to do something or another. But, Spottedgaze was talking to Petalstar now, and he knew it was about the dawn patrol badger scentings. So, he waved his tail at Petalstar to let her know he was leaving camp. Once he got outside he found their scent, overlapping, and followed it. It led him to the Valley Falls, where he saw the two talking and collecting moss. He decided to wait outside the cave until they were done.

Sagepaw was walking around the white-flower filled meadow, a slight breeze ruffling his fur. Even on the hottest days, it wasn't too hot here. Also, not many cats came here. They said that it made them sad, standing over their dead clanmates. But, he didn't know any cats that were under his paws, and he needed to get away from Adderpaw. Her cold looks made him feel uneasy, like he still didn't belong here. Do I belong anywhere? Should I go back to Roseclan? No. He hadn't liked Roseclan, and he felt as though he was safer here, and he liked that on the open moor, you could see everything all around you. Sometimes I wish someone would follow me here, so I felt as though I had a friend.

Jaythorn padded up to Irisstar, who was eating. He had his own piece of prey, a rabbit, and he sat down next to her. The morning patrols had been good, and they had heard from a Roseclan patrol that they had scented a badger on the Chrysanthemumclan border. "This Morning's patrols all brought back good news. We did hear that Roseclan found a badger scent on Chrysanthemumclan's border, and to watch out incase it crossed the border. I don't think we need to worry though."

She was not surprised by the badger scenting as they saw a mother badger with her babies traveling along the territory, they almost lost a few warriors due to them, now there was 4, possibly 5 in the two clans territory, they needed to do something about it " I'll will alert Rose Clan at the next gathering, its soon, and i'm taking Dawn Paw out for training session " she added finishing the last mouthful of prey

Adderpaw//In Nasturtiumclan camp//✧˚ · . ~ Astra`Rise ~ . · ˚✧ Dew Adderpaw was eating some pray right outside the medicine den, finally given a break by Sagedash. While eating, she heard little snippets of Irisstar and Jaythorn’s conversation, but wasn’t trying to hear them until Jaythorn said badger. Not another way Duskpaw can get hurt,Adderpaw thought. Duskpaw had been in the medicine den too many times to count and Sagedash said that even though he was just a moon younger than Adderpaw, he acted like a 3 moon kit. I should stalk up on some herds ,she realized, so Adderpaw went up to the leader’s den to ask. ”Jaythorn, what cats didn’t go out or had the least eventful patrol, because I need to take a couple of cat to look for herbs around the territory?”

so true, duskpaw is so much like a 3 moon kit) Rasppaw-Valley Falls-BeepawRasppaw happily follwoed him along the way to the cave. She sprinted after him when the other apprentice broke into a run. She loved when they went out together it was always a fun time, even if sometimes it resulted in her getting into trouble with Oatstem since a lot of the time she never told him when she was going out with Beepaw. " That's great," she said, beginning to help collect the moss, a slight grin forming as she made a tiny ball and knocked it to Beepaw, her grin widening when it broke against his fur. But soon went back to her task of making a bigger one to bring the moss back to camp. Spottedgaze-Roseclan Camp-Petalstar" Understood," he said. He glanced seeign Pinefrost, he should amke sure the medicine cat is aware of the potential badger should he or his apprnetice needing to go out for herbs that they take a warrior or two. Standing up he looked to Petalstar. " I'm going to go inform Pinefrost of the situation, and then I'll gather a patrol to take out to go back to where we found the scent to ensure we have no badger around." He waited for a dismissal not wanting to leave in case she had anything else she wanted to talk about. Brinyglide-Outlook Rock/Nasturtiumclan Territroy-IvyrunnerBrinyglide jumped at the sudden voice, their fur fluffing out as they joltedaround to look at the source, an embarrassed smile forming on their face as they quickly licked at their fur. " Hey, just lookout duty," they said, sending a glance back to the moor, but with not much changed surely it would be fine to keep an eye off it just for a bit, as they looked back to their friend their smile easing out. " What about you just passing through? Or did you just miss me?" They meant the last question as a joke, sure the two were quite close having been able to bound about their outsider origins that they often spent what free time they had together. Tags: Dew} |
