Hollowsky and Snowpaw | Frogpaw(Dew)Hollowsky nodded and smiled at Frogpaw. "Yes. Good job observing what you did. Now you know for next time. We should probably head back now, since there's probably no more prey here and I don't want to go too far." He told both apprentices. He began to trot back towards the makeshift camp. Snowpaw was annoyed that she didn't catch anything, but it was fine. She fell next to Frogpaw as they walked back towards the camp. "I wonder if we'll have time to eat and relax a bit before we leave again" She meowed to him, her tail flicking Nettle I'm sad to see you go, but I completely understand!))

As the quartet left camp, Leafshine considered the missing cats. Whisperclan would have to get it's act together if they wanted any hope of surviving this journey, she thought.
They approached the spot where the missing patrol was last seen, The shadows from the trees giving the ground a patchwork look.
She began the search for clues, investigating for scents and tracks. Unfortunately, the ground was rocky and dry, and so would not keep tracks well.
(Btw who are the missing cats? I can't find them mentioned by name lol)

Valleyshadow || Leafshine, Tigerspots, Silverberry || SophieTheAiredale / Ember34 / aquatail Her tail would whisk from side to side as she sniffed a small indent on the ground. Her fur pricked, and she tried to hide the fact that she was scared for the other clanmates. Mumbling in an almost inaudible way, she crossed the clearing to another indent. She peered at it more closely... and then slumped her shoulders. She realized that there were so many indents on the patchy ground than any clan could sniff. "I hope nothing bad happened to them. Let's hope they just got lost..." Her voice trailed off as she realized that she was actually speaking from her heart. She looked around for snapped branches, a clue to finding where some cats were. But she realized that these were clan cats she was looking for, and that she couldn't just do that. She shot a quick glance at the other trio of cats. |

Tigerspots-Valleyshadow, Silverberry, Leafshine
Tigerspots walked along ahead, following the scent trail he had left when he returned to the makeshift camp, as he came back the way he had left so he knew eventually he would find where the trios scent broke off. He glanced behind him as Valleyshadow spoke, his tail flicking behind him. "We will find them, they can't have wondered off to far." The ground was quite dry so it made sense for how much the earth was disturbed.

She caught a few scents of other Whisperclan cats on her way back, Tigerspots and Leafshine maybe, and padded back into camp. "You can grab something to eat, I'm going to ask if we are traveling today or tomorrow." She left Littlepaw, and went up to Nigthstar, dipping her head in greeting. "Hello Nigthstar, are we traveling today?" Creamfur yawned. "If not, I'm going to take a nap. If we are, well, I might still do that." |

Valleyshadow-Tigerspots || Leafshine, Silverberry || Ember34 / SophieTheAiredale / aquatail She would scent something distinct, and thinking it was only the patrol she shook it off. Then, she smelled it again. Valleyshadow would continue ignoring it, that was probably just Crowfang and Cottonstep stalking her again. Snorting, she padded back to the patrol of cats and watched the other cats for a moment and then glanced over and look at Tigerspots. Only, he wasn't there. She glanced around quickly for Leafshine and Silverberry, then sniffed the air and realized that she had wandered too far from the patrol. Quickly, she walked back to the group and joined them to look for the missing cats. |

Tigerspots-Missing Cat Patrol(Valleyshadow/Silverberry/Leafshine)
Tigerspots kept pressing on, especially once closer to where Hollowsky had broken off with the apprentices. Sniffing the air it didn't seem like they had made their way back. Giving a glance to the other trio that made up their quartet he headed off following the scent trail the warrior and two apprentices left behind on the ground. His tail flicking behind him as he thought to himself.

Tigerspots-Missing Cat Patrol, Hollowsky's patrol
The tom blinked jerking his head back as he nearly collided with the older warrior, his tail flicking behind him. Shaking out his head to clear his thoughts he absorbed them. "Sounds good, Nightstar is just wanting everyone in camp for a head count, we are going to be leaving soon," he said. Three down, two cats to find. He glanced back to the other cats of the patrol.

What if they headed back to camp already?" She knew that cats, clan cats especially knew how to track their own scent back to where they started. And it seemed like a long time for a cat to have been hunting or battle training. She shook dust out of her fur, sneezing and then twisted back and licked a burr out of her fur. Ugh, this place is so dry! She thought. Then she trotted to Tigerspots. |

Tigerspots-Missing Cat Patrol/Hollowsky's Patrol
Tigerspots flicked his ear as he turned his head to Valleyshadow's voice. "That is a good possibility," he said to her. They could head back and see and if it turned out they hadn't they would at least know for sure if they still had only two clanmates missing. "We could send some back with Hollowsky's patrol just to see if Valleyshadow is correct, and if anyone else might have left while we are gone." As he couldn't doubt that some might have left again, though he couldn't blame them if they did, he himself felt stir crazy just sitting around in makeshift camps.

Hollowsky flicked his tail as he waited for them to tell him what to do. "If you'd like, I can take Frogpaw and Snowpaw back and check." He meowed finally, his gaze flicking between Tigerspots, Valleyshadow, and Leafshine.
Snowpaw waited patiently for them to be told what to do

Frogpaw| I don't really know anymore| 《🎄○●cøpper●○🎄》 SophieTheAiredale Ember34 Frogpaw shuffled his paws while the older cats talked, his jaws getting tired from holding the mouse. I hope that Creamfur and Littlepaw are ok, but they should not have gone off without telling at least Nightstar. "I can go with Tigerspots, Leafshine and Valleyshadow, I helped explore the territory when we first got here, when we were looking for camp making materials. I think I know the territory well." Frogpaw was surprised to hear his own voice speak up, and then cringed has he heard the uncertainty and weirdness it sounded like, because of the mouse.

Tigerspots-Hollowsky's Patrol, Missing Cats Patrol
"That sounds like a good idea Hollowsky," he said to the other warrior. "I can't guarantee that we will be around this area though it's not like it would be hard to find us as long as you follow the trails." He looked towards Leafshine to see what the deputy thought on the matter. Looking away when Frogpaw and Silverberry spoke. "I feel you should rest in camp Frogpaw, while it's nice you want to help we might have another long day of travel." Tigerpsots also knew how skilled the apprentice had become in the moon of their travel in building the makeshift camps and he would rather ensure the young cat got proper rest so he coukd use that talent at the next resting point. He glanced to Silverberry. "If you want to head back with them just to see and rejoin I don't see that being an issue." He glanced once more to Leafshine not wanting to be overstepping his bounds but with the situation he felt it was fine to share his thoughts.
