Russetbriar is a strong-willed cat; protecting her clan means everything to her and she will never falter from that duty. She was unsure of herself when Sootstar had chosen her as Deputy, but she rose to the occasion and has proven herself to be just as vigilant in her duties as Deputy as she did when she was a warrior - even if she still faces feeling that inadequacy.

There is a certain quiet fierceness to Talonkit. Much like his mother, Tansyfrost, but unlike the energy of his sister, Opalkit. Where his sister is playful, Talonkit is stoic and reserved - possibly even just shy with a standoffish glare about him. He can be very kind, fussing over his sister and mother, and sometimes even fussing over his denmates, Lionflower's kits. He sees strength in being able to protect others, and looks up to cats like his mother, the deputy, and his leader.

Her mother is Lionflower and she has 2 brothers which she is very protective of. She is the oldest by a few seconds and will not let them forget it though. She is a tabby brown short haired she cat with blue eyes.

He is a stubborn and outspoken tom. He is always looking for ways to improve his skills and his social standing within the clan. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He is a smarter than most cats realize but, he does have a bit of a temper.

Okay, I was hoping we'd have more warriors before the roleplay started, but all the major roles have been claimed so I'll start the roleplay now!))




Over the past hours, the full-moon grew round in the inky-black sky, as every cat had returned from the dusk patrols and hunting and training sessions, ready to settle down for a meal and share tongues. Sootstar climbed up the ledge to announce her usual half-moon summon. "Let all those old enough to catch their own prey join me for a clan meeting!" She yowled; her short soot-black pelt almost glowing in the darkened cave. She gave every cat a chance to settle down and become ready to listen before she began. "It would seem in the past half-moon, that new life has been brought into the clan," She rested her stern golden gaze on the nursery. "We now welcome them as Opalkit and Talonkit of SandClan." She felt prideful of the new kits.

There was a moment of cheerfulness for the new life, before her gaze rested on the crowd below. She quickly adjusted to meet her deputy's gaze. "We also welcome Russetbriar as the new deputy, may our ancestors welcome Reedpool into their home." She flickered her sight toward the sky, although she met nothing more than sheltering ferns and tall jungle trees. She looked to where Russetbriar sat once more, and gave them an approving nod, before giving a dismissive flick of her tail to her clan.

As the clearing began to crowd the air with gossip, Sootstar jumped down to greet Russetbriar. "I must speak with you in my den." She announced to him quietly, not letting any cat overhear.

Recently, she'd been given an omen, or at least what she believed was an omen, by the ancestors. She'd discovered a shiny rock outside her den. It was colorful, with shades of purple and blue. Then later, she'd been gifted a claw from a mysterious warrior. Since her den was a tunnel, they'd slid it down the slope that led to her nest. She wasn't able to detect any cat scent from it, however. She'd wanted to discuss with her deputy what it might mean. Then she darted across the clearing to the medicine den. "Olivenose, I ask of you to come to my den at once. There is much to discuss." She called into the den, hearing her own echo.

Olivenose
Olivenose sat outside of his den as Sootstar called for the half-moon summon of the clan. It was as it usually was, which was good. No bad news from the patrols, and there was an evening breeze drifting through the camp. Still, something was troubling him. He had had the same dream over and over again, but he could not quite place it. When he woke up, parts of the dream faded away from his memory, making him think it might just be a dream. But it kept coming again and again, which made him worry. Was he not paying attention to the signs? Or was he missing something that was staring him right in the face? When he saw that Sootstar had ended the meeting he walked back into his den, deep in thought. What if it was just a dream, and he was spending too much time worrying about it? He walked into the back of the den, where the herb store was, and began to sort through the new days herbs, putting the cobwebs together, the thyme, when suddenly he heard Sootstar's voice echo back from the front of the den. "Olivenose, I ask of you to come to my den at once. There is much to discuss." She called, and Olivenose got up at once, knocking down the pile of oak leaves he was sorting through. Sootstar's voice had sounded urgent, which couldn't be good. He scrambled out of the mess he had made, frowning. What could it be that would make Sootstar worry so much? And why had she not said anything at the summon? He had a feeling that Sootstar's calling had something to do with his dream, and he sped up, crossing the clearing full of cats to his leaders den.

Opalkit
Opalkit's mother, Tansyfrost beckoned her and her brother, Talonkit, out of the nursery at sunset. She was tired, yes but she was also excited. She was out of the nursery ALMOST after dark. ALMOST. Maybe if she could convince the other kits, they could run away and play hide-n-seek while their mother's were not looking. Opalkit turned to Talonkit, who looked alseep on his paws. Maybe they should save hide-n-seek for tomorrow. They did not go far, Tansyfrost and Lionflower, another queen sat down just outside the nursery with their kits. Sootstar called out to the clan below her, and said a few words about (Her, Opalkit! Sootstar mentioned her!) and Talonkit. For a second Sootstar's gaze rested on her, then Talonkit, then it moved on, as she welcomed Russetbriar as the new deputy and Reedpool to the clan. After the clan was dismissed, Opalkit kept her eyes on Sootstar, as she said a few words to Russetbrair. Then she went to the medcine den called inside and left. She padded back to her den, where Russetbriar's tail was just disapearing. A few seconds later, Olivenose padded across the clearing speeding up as he left his den. What could this be about? Opalkit looked to her mother, who was chatting with Lionflower, Talonkit curled up next to her. Tansyfrost beckoned to her and they went back inside the nursery together. Opalkit purred as her mother licked her, and she preteneded to fall alseep. She waited for her Mother's breathing to slow, until she snuck out of the den. She went the long way to the leaders den, hiding right outside where she could hear the faint voices of the ctas inside. She did not want to take anymore risks however, so she stayed outside, leaning in so she could hear better.

Hi, it's totally fine you want to claim those characters, but I would recommend maybe only choosing one, and replacing the other? It's just difficult to roleplay with two characters that are likely to interact with each other a lot. But no worries if not, just a suggestion!]]

I'm REALLY sorry I didn't add any apprentices! At first after I'd made the mistake I just pretended there weren't any, but I feel as though users may want to roleplay as an apprentice, so I made three just now. If you feel more like you want to play as an apprentice, you may give up a character of your own for an apprentice, but I apologise for not changing it sooner.]]

Sunstrike has aways been a bit quiet and secertive,but under all that fluff,is a cat who would rush into action to save his friends and clanmates no mater what the coast.To him life is meaningless unless you do something impactful that helps others.And once you ignore his imposing icy bule eyes,he is willing to help you with whatever you need,and with the new kits he is exsided to hopfully have his first apprentice(even if he has to bribe the kits to not run in fear once they get him).
