I'm really going to enjoy reading the Jenna and Nola interaction soon! Something about this authoritative officer trying to talk to this dumpster diving raccoon child is just going to make my heart melt

For some reason the song One Jump Ahead from Aladin came to mind when you said that. Her Abu would be a rat though.

Where Maria represents the overthinking aspect of my personality, Jenna is my more gremlin like nature.

Question, if anyone gets married can Jenna be the flower girl? I promise she will not eat the petals. She might track in mud though.

This is more of some backstory clarification rather than a fun fact but I still find it enjoyable!
Javalle originally lived with his large family in a cabin complex near the suburbs of Montreal, Canada. The complex had a very similar arrangement to the pack houses, providing shelter for numerous feline shifters, though a grand majority of them were bobcats and lynxes. When he was younger, Javalle held a very close friendship with his grandfather Rufus, a bobcat shifter. It was said that Javalle looked nearly identical to Rufus when he was in his prime, but age wore down his looks and their ability to shapeshift. Every full moon, Rufus would stay with Javalle and taught him how to carve wood sculptures while their cousins ran wild and hunted.
As Javalle grew older, he started to lose hope that he would be able to shift. His parents took notice of this too and wanted to send Javalle away to Griffindale where he could socialize and receive a better education. Many arguments and harsh words were exclaimed between family, but eventually, Javalle's parents won and he hadn't contacted any family since. His only physical reminder of home was a pendant gifted by Rufus, which he honorably wears to this day.

Oo, happy full moon!
That is.. so sweet, and also so sad ^m^' Poor Javalle- that honestly makes me so happy he's finding some to-be friends and fellow feline shifters, shifters overall!
Hmm, fun facts. On a similar note of family! Callisto's family has a tradition of biting any human borns in their family! Which is why she's a bitten shifter. Of course they don't do it if the human in question doesn't wish to be a shifter ^^

Oh wow that's very interesting! I'd just assume that with Javalle's family everyone is born (or in rare cases, adopted) as a shifter but some have their first change later than others. Javalle got the very short end of the stick.
You all have no idea how happy I am to share his full backstory now. This was something I had in mind all the way back in DECEMBER when we were just beginning to write for the first full moon! I had a whole holiday special idea planned in my head where Jack invites Javalle to the pack's extravagant holiday party where he gets extreme social anxiety. He spent each day on Christmas bundled up in doors and the juxtaposition causes him to reflect on time spent with his family. It was going to be so sad yet wholesome but we were busy writing stuff for the rogue battle!

Oh, we are doing backstory stuff. Well Jenna actually has a stuffed raccoon in her little hideout. It is one of the few things that she has from her birth parents. Honestly it is the most clean thing that she has. While she might not be the most cleanly girl, she doesn’t want that for the toy. She has no idea why she cares so much about it not getting dirty. It could be that she just wants to preserve what little she has of her old family.

No family backstory this time around… However! I have a kinda retcon of sorts that I wanted to make for a very long time and a bonus fact! Despite either his character form or he himself saying that he’s native to Oregon (either being from Portland or just outside of it, if I recall correctly), Jack was actually born in Sleepy Hollow, New York a village within the town of Mount Pleasant and north of Tarrytown that’s about twenty miles from New York City. Yes, that Sleepy Hollow. When he was about thirteen years old, his family moved to Oregon and at this point of his life, it’s just easier to say he’s from Oregon. He has long since lost any New Yorker accent he may have had growing up and is still a fan of the Yankees. Perhaps growing up in a place associated with urban legend and the setting for a famous work of American horror unintentionally drew him to such a supernatural place like Griffindale? Spoilers for the game Skyrim, in case somehow after all these years, someone hasn’t played yet: On the previous one we did, I mentioned that Jack was based off of a couple of character. Here’s the major inspiration. Jack’s whole arc of hating what he’s has become is based of the character Vilkas from Skyrim. A member of the Companions (the game’s fighting guild, for those who don’t know) and a werewolf. In the game, though only lightly hinted through certain dialogue and an optional journal, Vilkas rose the ranks of his guild and under went a ritual to become a werewolf on the promise of becoming stronger.
However, after finding out the truth of how the high ranking members of the Companions, the Circle, became werewolves serval hundred years before the game takes place and learning that becoming one bars him from his desired afterlife, Vilkas felt cheated and is one of the members of the Circle to forgo transformations.
Like Jack, Vilkas thinks of being a werewolf as a curse but unlike him, he has control over his transformations despite refusing to do so. Fortunately for Vilkas, he can be cured in the game.

Ahh these are so neat!! Jenna with her raccoon plush, MY HEART And Jack being born in Sleepy Hollow of all places is really fascinating. Javalle will definitely geek out about that when Jack is willing to share. They could talk about moving troubles too since Javalle moved to Griffindal roughly at the same age! He had to start high school there

I’m honestly excited to see Jack slowly start to warm up to Javalle! Just the idea that Jack was born in Sleepy Hollow just lighting up his brain and causing him to nerd out is adorable <3

Jack: Someone just checked out The Legend of Sleepy HollowJavalle: Really? I've always been so fascinated with those stories. I wonder if the real Sleepy Hollow is like Griffindale, with all these creatures of legend running free. Jack: I was born there! Javalle: tell me everything. sorry if I'm just rambling at this point but oh my gosh I just love this idea

Ahk, Jenna ;-; that is so sweet and heartbreaking-
And oh! That’s really interesting for Jack, and a bit funny! Since Adeline has lived in New York for a bit, and has a mix of a New York and Boston accent herself, if a bit mellowed. And ahk, the boys having things the bond over, sweet

I can definitely see that reaction. And I just realized that everyone’s costumes will be fantastic for Halloween if Adeline can make clothes herself. It’d be adorable if she was the headless horesmen (women in this case) and has BlackBerry dress as a lil’ stead. If he doesn’t go fly off to dress up with Javalle and scare kids

AHH YES!! That'd be downright adorable- I haven't considered what Javalle would dress up as so yeah, I could absolutely see him talking to Adeline and saying, "please make it subtle" and she goes all out!
But imagine if Halloween lands on a full moon. I wonder how that would go for Jack and Javalle

Oh, totally. Hundred percent. She does not hold back any punches when it comes to fashion. My first thought was later down the line, her just… taking them on a walk like they’re her pets, just to have them around for trick or treating. Or just chillin’ at the Blackwood houses while Adeline man’s the door for Halloween, lol.

After a lot of convincing from Adeline or Javalle or both, Jack could be talked into dressing up as Ichabod Crane when they learn where he’s from lol
