I mean, Lionblaze is supposed to be OP in fights, can't be beat. Or have blood drawn. So how could Breezepelt overpower him?

My memory on it has gone hazy yet again but Im leaning towards the answer of Lionblaze letting it happen?

See I was about to say the same thing but then I remembered that the only time Lionblaze let himself get KO'd was against Redwillow....or Ratscar specifically to prove a point to Cinderheart that he can ignore his powers and they can be together. I haven't read OOTS in years, sorry for the ambiguousness.

As good as Lionblaze is, Breezepelt was trained by the DF - and so was Lionblaze. He probably anticipated Lionblaze's moves, and although Lionblaze is OP, he CAN be defeated. I'm sure they're nearly of the same level, Breezepelt a bit weaker than Lionblaze. Also, Lionblaze had literally just lost his sister... again.

Yeah, it said he was unbalanced or smthn but he could not even get up.
He also was not in his kinda Avatar State of fighting like against the mountain cats, so maybe he only goes crazy then
