Shadewing and the others were nearly halfway back to camp when she looked at Swiftpaw. "Swiftpaw, can you smell any prey around here?" she asked.

Moonflame turned away from the direction Rainsplash had gone and started to walk deeper into the territory. It was not long before she detected the scent of rabbit. She quickly looked around in search of it, but after checking the scent again it was pretty stale.

Now it's my turn to poof, brb!]]

Moonflame continued on, keeping watch where her paws fell so as to not step on any twigs or dead leaves. She stopped in front of a tree and thought about climbing it to get a better view of things, but shook her head and decided she was not feeling that brave today.

Moonflame froze when she heard tiny scuffling sounds and then the rustle of leaves. She caught the slight movement of leaves in the corner of her vision, and looked over in time to see a sparrow fly onto a fallen log from the bush. Flexing her claws she grinned and crouched, just hoping the bird would not notice her bright white fur amongst all the green and brown. She crept closer, thankful for the soft grass beneath her paws. With a leap she snagged the sparrow between her paws and after tumbling a bit delivered the killing bite.

Amberwave quickly buried her prey before bounding off to find more. Her heart was pounding softly in her ears and she grinned, flexing her claws in the soft Moss. She was in her element and she parted her jaws in search for more prey.

Aspenpaw's ear twitched at her explanation "That looks like a lot of different herbs. How do you remember it all? I sure as won't be able to!" She asked in awe, gazing at the herbs before the older she cat.

Amberwave had just missed a nice thrush and she snorted in frustration before padding off to scent for another prey.

"It's not as hard as you think," said Emberleaf, "it just takes dedication and practice. I bet you could do it if you wanted."

"That doesn't mean you can't show interest Aspenpaw. You never know where your paws may lead you."

Moonflame paused in a grassy clearing, feeling like something was watching her. Her eyes narrowed as she scanned the area and then stopped on a little brown furry head poking up out of the ground. It was a vole, a rather small one at that, staring right at her with wide eyes. Moonflame had to keep from laughing at it, and the moment she moved one paw it disappeared into its hole.

Moonflame continued on a bit further, this time nearly walking into view of a mouse. It was in the middle of eating a berry, so its attention was not on Moonflame. She stalked closer and pounced, catching it easily. She looked at the sky and decided it was a good time to go looking for Amberwave again.

Moonflame dug out the sparrow from earlier and then retraced her steps back to where she and Amberwave had parted ways. Spotting her clanmate, she trotted over and nodded. "Looks like we were both successful," she commented.

"Yes, I think I am," Moonflame replied through the fur and feathers. She turned around in the direction of camp and waited a moment before padding back.
