Moonflame gave a nod. "Alright, we'll be waiting by the camp entrance for you two," she meowed before motioning to Shadewing to follow. The two she-cats set off for the camp entrance, after Shadewing did one more stretch of her front legs.

Amberwave just nodded at her words before turning. "Right. I'll meet you there with Aspenpaw!" she called back before bounding over to the apprentice den. "Aspenpaw?" she called out, peeking her head inside first for good measure. A brown lump of fur in a corner proved that move to be wise "Aspenpaw! Get your lazy tail up! We have patrol!" she barked out loudly after frowning in disapproval. A squeak and a few grumbled choice words later, Aspenpaw emerged from the den bleary eyed. "You're so loud.." she grumbled out, stalking past her sister with a yawn while heading to the camp entrance. Amberwave just sighed and padded after her sister to meet up with the others.

"Good evening Aspenpaw," Shadewing greeted as the apprentice padded up with her sister. "Are we all ready to head out?" she asked, looking to the other patrol members.
Moonflame nodded. "I think it looks like we are," she answered. "How's about we start east of here and then make our way around from there?"

Aspenpaw responded to the greeting with a quiet yawn and a nod towards the older she-cat. Her older half sister gave the others a cheerful smile. "That sounds like a good plan. I wonder if we would run into any trouble though. I hope not" she said, ignoring her younger sister's glare.

Moonflame headed out the camp entrance and turned in the direction of the border. "I also hope we don't run into any trouble... especially with the medicine cats out of camp for the night," she said.
Shadewing glanced up at Moonflame. "Oh yes, that is tonight isn't it..." she murmured. "I've always wondered what that must be like, speaking with StarClan."

Almost as one, the half sisters turned to the sky. The half moon was high in the sky, seemingly glowing softly. Amberwaves's eyes soften at the sight while Aspenpaw looked excited. "Do you think we would ever meet StarClan? Or is it just the leaders and medicine cats?" Aspenpaw asked the others, fascinated by the sky.

"I'm not sure," Shadewing murmured, also looking to the sky now. "I always thought it was just reserved for them."
"When I was a kit... or maybe an apprentice, can't really remember, I heard from someone that sometimes us warriors get a chance. I think a couple cats got visited by StarClan cats in their dreams or something," Moonflame chimed in, shrugging. "Never happened to me though."
