Shadewing glanced down at her pelt. "Yes, that's true," she meowed. She had a thick pelt, but even still it was quite easy for her to get cold.

Emberleaf padded from her den. She hoped the cold would break soon before she wore down her herb stores too much.

Shadewing led the way, the roar of the river getting louder the longer they walked. It felt nice to move her legs for once, she felt like she had been doing a lot of sitting around recently.
