I, Ivyshadow, now of Starclan, look down at the clans. "They'll have plenty of help soon. Even if only 2 Thunderclan cats appear, They're large, strong, and powerful, more than enough."
Bonemarrow, my clan's late medicine cat, looks on with me, and nods. "This should be fun."
"Fun? A medicine cat thinks a battle is going to be fun?"
"I was a warrior before I found out who I was meant to be. And watching the clans make crowfood out of Wolfstar and whatever mouse-dung she's dug up to follow her is my idea of fun."

Barkpelt of Windclan looks across the river at Riverclan, just a fox-length away, the river narrow at this point. "We heard a rumor about Wolfstar, Sungaze," he says to the medicine cat apprentice who is gathering plants along the opposite riverbank. "If we can help, let us know. Miststar asked me to say this."

Sungaze here. "I will tell Scarstar. Thank you. I suggest keeping an eye out. Wolfstar is tricky, and could send scouts out in advance. Plus, it would be just like Nightheart to take advantage, using all this as a distraction. You may not be close to their territory, but that doesn't seem to stop them."

Nightheart here. I've gathered my clan. "While Riverclan is otherwise occupied, we should take advantage and plan a raid. We'll head toward Highstones; we'll have to cross a small thunderpath, but it's easy to cross, not too many monsters. There's a wider thunderpath after, leading right to Windclan. Dawnfur, pair up the warriors. We leave in a few moments."
"At once," says Dawnfur.

Nightheart here. We move quickly once the warriors are paired, leaving no one behind. Crossing the small thunderpath is no problem; no monsters. Maybe my clan is too cocky. When we reach the wider thunderpath, they try to cross right away; I have to mouth-yank a few back to safety. "Mouse brain, are you trying to die? I'll tell you when to cross."
When it's safe, we cross all at once. Now, we're on Windclan's territory. And we have a reception committee, 5 very large and angry cats.
