We haven’t heard from them in a while…
Do you think Jayfeather had the right to choose the new Teller of the Pointed Stones ? Obviously, he did some time travel stuff and lived as his old incarnation (Jay’s Wing) but he was a clan cat at the same time, and this is the Erins excuse to make him rightful in choosing the new Stoneteller. (on that note : What do you think happened to Jay’s Wing ?)
Would you be interested in having a tribe protagonist in the main series and in the Tribe being relevant and having better writing than in the past (good personalities, good plot, good execution) and in exploring their traditions (hopefully, if they don’t end up being a copy-and-paste of the Native American tribes) ?
What plot would you come up with if the Tribe was to be again in a main series book ?
Am I the only one who thinks it is utterly nonsense that the clans went back to the Lake territories when their ancestors left because of their living conditions ? Like, this means that the Lake territories aren’t supposed to be sustainable for cats and the clans go and they are able to live there like nothing happened ???

According to the wiki, the Tribe of Endless Hunting gave Jayfeather the right to appoint the new Stoneteller.

I would love a good tribe protagonist but am kind of worried of how the Erins would put it toghether. Personally I didn't see much of an original tradition in the tribe in the series. And I would like too see the clans in need of the tribe's help for once. Like a new kind of disease that the clans don't have a cure for.
As for the clans going back to the lake territory, the clan ancestors left because of the badgers, and since the clans chased them away after moving there I don't think there would be a problem.

The clan ancestors left because twolegs were trying to build a thunderpath which meant less prey.

If the clans ancestors didn’t have enough prey because of tje thunderpath and there were less cats in total, then how do the clans have enough prey to survive ?

Clan ancestors were worried that twolegs will chase away all the prey. And at that moment, Jay’s Wing told them abt the mountain dreams. But for some reason, twolegs stopped exploiting the forest after the cats left, leaving the forest free for clans

I get that the former stoneteller turned irrational, and it will cause chaos in tribe(just like what riverclan is going through right now) if stoneteller die without a successor. So they needed Jayfeather, the third party, to lie to the tribe by telling that stoneteller chose his successor before he died. What i don’t understand is how the tribe of endless hunting could trust Jay with such a big decision, like he barely knows the tribe cats! It would have made more sense if tribe of endless hunting told him who to choose, send an omen, etc.
For the original Jay’s Wing, I think he died in that tunnel. My hc is that the dream Jaypaw had in the prologue of Dark River wasn’t just a vision; It was the last moment of Jay’s Wing.
And I’d like to see a tribe focused story with their own protag. Maybe ancient cats can get more spotlight too?

I think Jayfeather appointing the next Stoneteller was fine. He was the only cat around that had any sort of spiritual connection to their ancestors, so it makes sense that he was the cat trusted to make the decision. And it seems like his choice of Crag was popular by the Tribe, so there's not really a problem there.
I've wondered about the issue with the Lake as well.
