Just out of curiosity, when did everyone here first read warriors?
For me, I started them in 2008 when I was 10. I haven't actually read a Warriors book since about 2012/3 after The Last Hope was released. I really never could get into Dawn of the Clans. But the series still holds a fond place in my heart.

Started reading them in third grade, but I went all over the place in storyline. Basically grabbed whatever was on the shelf.
But then a couple years later I started back from the beginning and read through the series, not including DOTC.

Grade 4, so 9 years ago? 2007. I haven't read anything since TLH came out, just because I haven't been that into reading novels.

2010 so grade 8. Before then I read the first (or second?) book of TNP which was thoroughly confusing and I just remember trees being cut down and cats running about frantically. I didn't realise TNP was the second series so honestly I think that should be signposted on the book itself.

I think I started somewhere around either 3rd or 4th grade. My godmother handed me Into The Wild because she knew that I liked cats. She would never know that I would still be obsessed over it for a good five years.

I don't quite remember the year or anything, but I remember I was in 3rd grade and it was before Forest of Secrets even came out.

Like 3rd or 4th grade. I stopped reading them maybe halfway through Power of Three, so I usually just read the wiki and pretend I know what some is talking about if they talk about the series past Power of Three. I might of read some of Omen of the Stars but I usually read the book out of order since it depended which books weren't check out in my school library that day.

Second grade I was taking a test by myself. The teacher left the room, and I took the copy of OoTS off her desk and read it. For a month I could not find the rest of the series. I found the first book and read every book in 2 weeks.

I think it was around sixth grade? I know I started reading in 2011, because I joined the old forums that year.

I found them in October of 2008, so when I was in 4th grade. I went to my school's library one morning, and I saw a book with a cat face on the spine. It was the Darkest Hour, and it looked interesting enough so I decided to check it out. But for some reason all my friends told me the books were terrible and that I shouldn't waste my time with it, but I read it anyways and here I am all these years later.

Had your friends read the books to gain that opinion? If not then I would tell them that it's not fair to have an opinion on something without giving it a chance...

None of my friends who judged the books have ever read them. I tried to get one of them to read Into the Wild, and she quit after two chapters saying it was stupid.

Is it bad if I'm marveling at the fact that 8 year olds can read these books? Or should I be ashamed because I'm still here? In our school library they were recommended for 8*
