runningsky123 so I've got Honey all typed up and ready to go - for the dogs, what direction do we want Heather and Alecto's first encounter to go? Alecto has a wide range of intensity for me to work with ranging from moderate to 'I don't know how you physically contain that much energy' - I was thinking like Alecto may rush her and like sort of knock her over or maybe even pin her with her snout the way dogs do when they get too excited to sniff something (very much hoping that made sense) could definitely get some rough prodding in there I really just wanted to confirm how we're establishing that Alecto may have an issue with how she interacts with the barn cats but also didn't wanna go too far on the first encounter Yeah that sounds good! Not something overtly ‘I’m gonna eat you’ but just like, way too far for at least Spark’s liking.

Okay cool! That’s the exact vibe I’m going for, so I can get them typed up and have both replies up after work c: I’ll definitely leave the end open if we want Spark to jump in rather than Bo

Honey -- The Forest | With Shadow - runningsky123 The moorland was little more than a concept to her. Sure, the lands made themselves known to her anytime she took a trip to the river, but one could only see so much with how tall the grasses became. Even in the dead of the leaf-bare the flora seemed never ending. Made it hard to see what may be going on deeper in. Then again, maybe that's what the forest looked like from the other side of the water.
Regardless, her dark furred companion confirmed that there were, in fact, cats living over there. Huh, cats that liked the lack of trees. Could she call it odd if she'd never tried such an environment? Well, she could. And internally, she did. "I don't see how no trees could be good for hunting - can't imagine there's anywhere to hide," Honey mused. Though as a new question was thrown her way, she tipped her a head a bit and finally sat down, flicking an ear in acknowledgement as she thought.
"I suppose it wasn't a particular reason," the molly answered after a moment. "Parents lived essentially at the base of the mountains - when I left home I sort of just... kept going until I wound up here. Don't think I even considered the moors as an option." It was a couple days' travel if she were to visit them, nothing too horrible, but enough space to know she was definitely on her own. "Guess I didn't really give the moorland a chance - you think it's worth checking out?"
Bo & Alecto -- Farm, The Fields | With Spark - runningsky123 The mention of cats drew his attention. Hm, perhaps her last farm hadn't had a well established cat population? It was possible, he supposed. Didn't make any sense to him, but he supposed it was possible. As he turned over his shoulder to adress her statement, Heather's familiar call reached him. Ah, how he loved her presence - she'd certainly been a warm welcome party for the new pack member.
With a 'boof' of greeting Bo turned in a wide arc, tail wagging gently as he spotted the feline. "Heather, this is-"
Before he could so much as finish, Alecto bolted off toward the cat. The distance between them was closed in seconds, the younger dog sliding to an abrupt halt and raking up the dirt in her wake. What followed was hectic to say the least. As soon as she was in range she thrust out a paw and knocked Heather to the ground. No sooner than she landed had the new guardian thrust her head forward, shoving her nose into various spots of the cat's flank in effort to get her scent.

Percy »
It took Percy much too long to figure out where Frazzle was getting these sorts of assumptions.
Asking if she was a special friend had not set any alarm bells off for Percy, and he would have responded with a simple ‘yes, she is’ had Frazzle not continued with his predictions, going so far as to asking if Percy was going to be a father.
”A daddy?” Percy spluttered, his portion of the bird falling right out of his mouth and landing with a hard thunk! against the snow. Green eyes round and wide with bewilderment was poised straight toward Frazzle, Percy’s brain doing all sorts of jumps and leaps to figure out where the younger tom had drawn such a conclusion. Never once had Percy mentioned a mate, let alone a pregnant one. Not only that but he didn’t even have a mate! And he most certainly didn’t have kits. Once upon a time the idea had crossed his mind, all those moons ago when Lavender had stuck around and become a source of comfort for Percy, but those days were long gone. The idea of a mate and kits had not crossed his mind in quite some time.
But what about Smoke?
The thought crept along his mind, an earthworm emerging after a heavy rainfall. The ginger and white tom flicked his tail, brows furrowing. What about Smoke? He questioned himself, but he didn’t ponder the thought any further. He had other questions that needed answers before he could linger on the topic of Smoke and the relationship he had with the gray tabby tom.
Percy stood there, staring at Frazzle, practically a fish out of water with his glassy stare and agape maw. What would have caused Frazzle to suggest such a thing? What had Percy said to create the sort of atmosphere the two tomcats were standing in right now? He had simply been talking about Poppy. Poppy… A sick cat in Smoke’s care. A young molly who needed food. A special molly that Percy cared about even if he didn’t know all that much about her.
A special molly that needed to eat.
A special somebody that Percy needed to get back to quickly.
… Ah. He was starting to put the puzzle pieces together.
Ever slowly did his fur lay back down flat, his eyes losing the shock that had glistened in their depths. He leaned down to lapse his tongue over his chest fur, chuckling as he craned his head back upwards, whiskers quivering with laughter. ”No, no, she isn’t my mate, and she certainly isn’t carrying kits, let alone mine! She’s young, younger than you even, and she’s hurt. Bad. I’m hoping if I can get her to eat, even just a little bit, it’ll help her heal. The tom I’m staying with now, he’s a healer, but there’s only so much he can do when herbs aren’t growing well and prey is scarce…”
What about Smoke?
Poppy was an important cat in Percy’s life now. He cared for her and longed to see her get better, but there was nothing romantic there. He felt protective over her and only wanted her to heal, but he didn’t feel any sort of way about her like he had felt about Lavender. Like he felt about…
Percy’s tail twitched. He craned his head downward, jaws parting to grab ahold of the bird once more.
What about Smoke?
Yes, he wondered, what about Smoke…?

(Ooh! Your response was very well written. ^^) FrazzleLocation: Forest With: Percy ( Feathertalon ) Percy’s impulsive response was a bit more than Frazzle expected. The bird leg to which Percy had kept firmly clamped in his jaws since their last encounter~ it simply slipped away, dropping to the ground. Frazzle stopped the instant Percy made his first spluttered exclamation, his head turning eagerly to meet Percy’s bewildered gaze. He set down his bird leg for the moment and licked his lips, revealing a somewhat mischievous looking toothy grin. Whether he had hit it right on the mark or was completely off target didn’t make much difference to Frazzle, but nevertheless he found it intensely satisfying to see the shock on Percy’s face. Frazzle’s tail flicked happily behind him as if he had accomplished some great achievement. Would this be the first time he had managed to take the astute tom off guard? Heh. He’d have to keep this subject in mind for later incase he had need to poke more fun at the fellow tom. All within reason of course, as he wasn’t completely heartless. Once realization seemed to dawn upon Percy, the older tom began to chuckle away. Frazzle’s ears perked and his gaze became more intent as he became curious as what was so funny and how Percy would go about explaining it all. He leaned forward a little as Percy began to spoke. “Oh.” A few different responses crossed his mind at Percy’s words. At first he wanted to laugh at the fact the molly was much younger than he had thought. But then his smile faded since he wasn’t sure if he should laugh considering the little molly was injured. But the information did help in other ways. He no longer had to worry about finding the motivation to drag a large bird across half the twolegplace to who knows where in the forest. Now he had a purpose, an enthralling storyline that he could follow with gusto. There was a little wounded molly that needed saving! A new light entered his gaze and a second wind of energy pulsed through his limbs. Tail high and standing tall, he flashed Percy a confident grin. “Well whoever she is, she’ll be in for a grand surprise, now won’t she?” Without further delay, he reached down to pick up the leg again, only shortly after Percy picked up his. Once they started moving again, Frazzle’s pace held much less resistance than before. He put in the effort and moved faster, as fast as Percy allowed as the older tom led the way. Inspiration was a peculiar thing. Frazzle found he could summon up a great well of nearly boundless energy when he had the motivation to do so. Running and playing through the forest was one such endeavour that he could tap into. But meaningless labour? He had always struggled finding the motivation for such things. Back in the days when his parents looked after him and his littermates, he had an awful time with any sort of nest-cleaning duty. Or even when Ol’ Smokey would get him to help with the odd task back when he had been living with him. He was usually happy to help- some tasks more than others- but without the proper motivation, sometimes it was much easier to become distracted and find something more interesting to do. (The edit is just me fixing a couple grammar/wording stuffs that were bothering me.)
