PalmClanIntroduction Your paws ache with each step. The days have all blurred together since you left the abandoned house.
Although the sun is hot, you are thankful for the shade given by the trees. You wonder whether being caught by PalmClan would be good or bad.
You look up at the sun. The rays scorch your pelt. One sun becomes two and your legs sway beneath you. The world fades to black as you pass out.
A paw prods your side sharply as you regain your vision. You lift your head to see that you're still in the pal forest, but surrounded by a few cats.
"Explain why you're on PalmClan territroy," an intimidating cat says with a grim expression on their face. |
| PalmClan is a Clan that lives in the palm forest of a beach. They have a neighboring Clan, FoamClan, who they've never really gotten along with. |
| PalmClan was started when a twoleg moved onto the island with a few cats. The twoleg sadly diead and left the island without twolegs and the cats without owners. The cats decided to move onto the beach part of the island and form a group known as IslandClan. The oldest, Paradise, was deemed leader, which made the youngest, Palm, very jealous. Palm thought that she should be leader because she was young and healthy. Paradise thought that he should be leader because he was old and wise. Palm soon left the Clan and formed PalmClan whilst Paradise renamed the IslandClan to FoamClan, seeing as the Clan no longer had the whole island. The cats set up a system of names, laws, and borders. Paradise became Foamstar, Palm became Palmstar. |
FoamClan Camp - FoamClan Camp is located on the beach of the island.
PalmClan Camp - PalmClan Camp is located in the palm forest of the island.
Gathering Rocks - The Gathering Rocks are a place on the edge of the island where the palm trees thin out and meet the beach. This is where gatherings are held.
Paradise Falls - The Paradise Falls are right in the middle of the island. It's a small waterfall leading to a pond circled by palm trees.
Splash Pool - There is a tiny part of PalmClan territory where there's a small pool of deep water that the cats practice swimming in. |
Warrior Ceremony - The warrior ceremony is held at Paradise Falls. The apprentice(s) being made warrior(s) are escorted by their leader to Paradise Falls where they receive their warrior name from Paradia.
Paradia - Paradia is FoamClan and PalmClan's StarClan.
Dystopia - Dystopia is FoamClan and PalmClan's Dark Forest. |

Waiting Sage - Deputy Sage in Training - An Apprentice who's training to become sage.
Destiny Seer - Chooses what cats role in the Clan will be, helps with relationships, and acts as a medicine cat.
Destined Seer - Apprentice training to be Destiny Seer.
Palmae Guardian - Protects and hunts around and from the trees.
Earth Guardian - Protects and hunts on the ground.
Sapling Guardian - Apprentice training to be an Aqua Guardians.
Dirt Guardian - Apprentice training to be an Earth Guardian.

Rules 1. Follow the forums rules. Pretty self-explanatory.
2. Be respectful.
3. Don't bully others.
4. This Clan is LGBTQ+ friendly. Please respect this and don't make fun of others for their, or their characters, sexuality and gender identity.
5. Be nice to everybody.
6. Don't criticize how others roleplay unless they're power playing. Just because somebody may have a different style or doesn't write as much as you do.
7. To go along with the last rule, please try to have at least two sentences. Roleplaying with only one sentence to go off of can be difficult.
8. Don't make the roleplay all about yourself.
9. Do not power play. This includes dodging everything, killing other characters in one hit, etc. Power playing isn't fun for anybody.
10. Keep your characters realistic. This means no neon colored fur or eyes, no wings/horns/magic (unless it goes with the plot), and don't make your character perfect. Everybody has their flaws.
11. Please keep everything PG. No intense mating/kitting scenes. If you want to do that kind of stuff, I recommend going to private messages.
12. I will allow apprentice pregnancies seeing as cats can get pregnant at 6 months old. Please ask permission first though, we don't want a Clan filled with pregnant apprentices.
13. Don't join and never come back. My hope is that you post at least every week. If you don't, you will be seen as inactive and will have important roles taken away.
14. Please only one prefix at a time. I know that in the books there was Mousefur and Mousewhisker, but it just a sort of personal preference.
15. If you read all the rules, please put "Paradise Falls" in your joining form. |

Mudstripe in Camp with [Open]Mudstripe stretched. The sun felt warm on his fur. It's times like this when Mudstripe loved living on the island, though he did wonder what it's like off the island. Best not to think about it, he though. It's not like they were going to get off the island, ever. Mudstripe's stomach growled. Time to eat, he thought. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a bird. Then going to lay in the shade somewhere. As he sat down, though, he let out a scratchy cough. He shrugged it off as a ticklish throat. [Open] Flamepaw in Palm Forest with [Open]Flamepaw stared up at a palm tree. Her muscles were a bit sore today from climbing trees so much. She jumped up at the tree and latched her claws in with a grimace. Climbing up the tree a small ways, she decided to detach from the tree and landed on the ground with a grunt. Flamepaw knew that her muscles could get sore from climbing so much, but her shoulder felt worse than usual. She settled for the ground. Twirling around a few times to get comfortable, her shoulder gave her trouble. She finally settled down and rested her head on her paws. [Open]

Dappleflower yawned as she exited the Guardian's den. Her orange eyes lazily scanned the clearing. Only a few cats stirred in the clearing. Most probably already set off on their patrol duties. Dappleflower hated morning patrols, it was her only request not to be included in morning patrol planning. She'd do as many patrols Burntstar needed, as long as they weren't starting at dawn. "Morning, Mudstripe." She greeted, picking up a beach mouse for herself.

Dappleflower raised a concerned brow as she ate her mouse. "Yea," She said as she chewed, flicking her ear towards him, "That's a nasty cough you've got. Have you checked with the Seers?" The last thing they needed was a summer cold running its course through the camp. More specifically, she didn't want it to come to her. So much for me coming to share tongues with him. The tortoiseshell she-cat thought, feeling a bit regretful. Maybe she should have gone out on patrol after all if she knew cats were sick.

"Probably a few patrols later and the-" Dappleflower jumped to her paws, her eyes wide as moons and her fur standing on end. She backed away from Mudstripe, shoving the mouse away from her as if the food were the source for the unnatural substance that came from his mouth. This was no cold. "Mudstripe what- what is that?" She stammered out the order, her voice raised and full of fear. She should get the seers, and Burntstar. Heck, she was ready to rally everyone. "I'll go get someone!"

Mudstripe in Camp with DappleflowerMudstripe stared at the black sludge that had just come out of him. His eyes widened and his fur spiked up. This wasn't supposed to happen. How did that black sludge get in him in the first place? His mind raced with so many thoughts that he barely even noticed Dappleflower's cries. "I-I," he stammered, unable to find an answer to what it was, "I don't know..." His ears flattened against his head. Mudstripe had no idea what was happening to him. Am I dying? Is it contagious? Will I be exiled? these thoughts raced through his mind. He hoped that nobody else would catch what he had. Especially since Dappleflower had been so close to him when it happened.

Dappleflower stood frozen, unsure of her next move. She was no healer- especially not when cats started coughing up black sludge. She cringed at the sight of it. The she-cat stood there for what seemed like moons before she mustered the strength to go and get some help. Quickly, she made her (should she get burntstar since we don't have a seer yet  ) |

(i'm fine with shimmer being the water sage, maybe once we're a little deeper into the plot on the foamclan page, we can say the leader dies from the sickness. and shimmer can't become sage yet because she can't get in contact with paradia, and I may make a seer/seer apprentice for this page as well)

(i'll have the seer form up in a minute, and hopefully! things are a bit slow right now but im sure we'll get some more members soon)
Dappleflower burst into Burntstar's den, her fur standing on end making her look larger than her small frame. Her claws kneading the ground anxiously. "Burntstar!" She exclaimed, "You have to come into the clearance, quickly!" She continued on frantically. The scene of Mudstripe black sludge replaying in her mind making her feel nauseous. She had to snap out of her thoughts and remember why she was here. "Mudstripe he- You just have to see." She couldn't find the words to explain what had happened or what she saw. It was all too surreal. Without waiting for his response she anxiously padded outside. What if everyone started coughing up that black sludge? She shivered at the thought, crouching down in fear.

Dappleflower snapped from her thoughts where she lay crouched behind the scene. "Come on." Burntstar had summoned with a slight nudge. Hesitantly, she stood following after him. Keeping her distance from Mudstripe as they neared. Feeling queasy all over again at the sight of the black sludge. "See there, by the bird," She pointed with her tail at the unnatural sight. "We were sharing tongues, and he was coughing and he just coughed it up." She continued, regaining her composure now that Burntstar was here. Even though on the inside she wanted to run and hide. "I've never seen anything like it!" Dappleflower exclaimed. Cloudygaze should see this too. She thought. Maybe the Seer would know what to do, she was trained in that type of thing after all. Could it be blackcough? She wasn't sure if it was actually black but it sounded fitting.
