I absolutely love how people will call teenagers and gen Z lazy and entitled while I am literally over here working on the weekends and holidays and going to school 5 days a week (and doing homework/study afterwards)
And then they'll be like "Oh you're depressed and overly stressed? It must be the phone"

It must be the phone" I can relate to this so much. I work at an ice cream shop during the summers and will start working there on school weekends this year (I was too young to get a job last year) and heck, that place gets busy. Doesn’t help that I get stressed out over studying so easily when I do have school and go to my cheer gym five days a week for practice. And on top of that, I have to babysit my little brother while listening to my parents fight all the time. Yeah, I’m so lazy. But honestly, just ignore your parents/people that say that. I’ve learned too. I just keep moving now, because honestly, I got sick of hearing it. So now I just don’t hear it. I keep doing whatever I’m doing, and if my parents wanna be jerks whatever I guess. I’m not gonna be able to stop them. |
