Named for:
Bravescar was named at a moon old, because she was the most adventurous, bravest kit the nursery had seen in a long time. She was given her suffix because of how she bravely protected the camp against a dog that had gotten loose from its twolegs, earning her scar in the process.
Backstory:
Bravekit had an ordinary kithood, and an ordinary apprenticehood. She was always a hard working cat, and well liked and respected by both her clan and other clans. She developed a friendship with Foxtuft, at the time Foxpaw, after she stood up to Cherrypaw at a gathering. When she was sixteen moons old, she was given an apprentice, Lilypaw. Bravescar always tried to be helpful and easy to talk to, as her brother, Duskheart, had always been an extremely anxious cat. She supported Lilypaw when he decided to become Pondpaw, and was named deputy after Pondpaw became Pondpelt. She was kidnapped by twolegs for a few days, and when she returned, refuse to speak about what had happened and seemed a lot quieter than usual, but she forced herself to continue to be the clans deputy, as she dreamt of being Bravestar since she was a kit. A half-moon after her return, Bravescar started showing signs of pregnancy, and although no cat forced her to step down or confronted her, the clan began to gossip...
