I think you go to the relationships tab or something similar and click 'set parents'? I'm unsure, I haven't played in a while.

4 moons: Sharpstar was seen racing across the border with their rival from DancingClan (ngl, I actually gasped when I read this). A patrol also found a loner who's now joined the Clan and his name is Klondikebark. He's now in a relationship with Streakbramble.
5 moons: Rootpaw is now Rootmist! And I think I just made my first encounter with the Halloween update, maybe? It says Timberbee has spotted something long and spindly by the undergrowth; either way, I'm not taking any chances!
6 moons: No! Lightspots and Oakash broke up! Anyway, Lightspots is now with Sharpstar.
7: Furzebriar is now a warrior
8 moons: Nothing
9 moons: Congrats, Heronroar!
10 moons: Streakbramble and Klondikebark broke up!

And now the game has crashed. Great. Oh, I also got around to checking who the StarClan guide is and it's a black tom named Hemlockhope.
EDIT: NVM, I'm back! Apparently I'd forgotten to save, so now Rootpaw is an apprentice again. ^^"

9 moons: Encounter with RunningClan; Rootmist was also caught touching noses with someone from ShortClan!

I really want to get back into ClanGen, but it's hard to motivate myself to play a session consistently, and I always end up dropping. Maybe that'll change when Cruel Season releases in the far future.

Okay, it's 6 moons again! This time I'm just gonna save every cycle. And now Rootmist just asked her adopted mother Oakash to run away with her. I just checked and she romantically likes Sharpstar now.
10 moons: Icybat got murdered! No!
13: And now Furzebriar is dead, from eating tainted prey! Oh, and Sharpstar lost a life at the same time too.
14: Now Rootmist is apparently meeting someone from DancingClan. And Klondikebark is having kits, finally!
15 moons: Streakbramble and Klondikebark broke up!
16 moons: NVM, they're back together again! Oh, wait, Streakbramble also tried to convince Heronroar to run away with him; make up your mind, man! Anyway, the kits are Peatkit, Briarkit, Mosskit, and Fallenkit. Heronroar also adopted two kits named Jumpkit and Coatikit.
17 moons: And now Timberfur and Heronroar are dead (killed by rogues). Great. Rootmist was also rejected by Sharpstar.
21 moons: Rootmist adopts a kittypet's kits: Windkit and Piperkit; Oakash is also having kits, and Jumppaw and Coatipaw have become apprentices to Lightspots and Klondikebark respectively). There's also a new apprentice, Whirlpaw, formerly from RunningClan.

I really want to get back into ClanGen, but it's hard to motivate myself to play a session consistently, and I always end up dropping. Maybe that'll change when Cruel Season releases in the far future. try writing summaries for each of the moons or a camp scene from the POV of a character!! I've found slowing the game down like that helps me stay invested (and they make for awesome stories) |

I don’t play it, but by god the names are too funny. One of the best ones I’ve seen was a loner called Big Man who joined the Clan and was called Big Manface. I also saw someone say that they got a cat called Flyflight.

So I skipped a bunch and stopped at 200 moons, went from thirty something cats to just twelve; Mossmuzzle also became leader at some point and still has all their lives intact, with Firgale as deputy, Juncopaw became Juncoripple, there's a cat named Shiningfur who's parents were Mooneyes and Logflash, and Minkwater, Blisswhistle, and Sweetbounce have all retired. Leapjump, Carnationmimic, Foxglovewatcher, Wishrump, and Drizzlesap are also all still alive. 203 moons: Foxglovewatcher was murdered, and Juncoripple and Carnationmimic watched the sunrise together (cute!)
212: Firgale drowned and Drizzlesap died trying to rescue her. Wishrump has been chosen as the new deputy

216: A loner brings their kit Leaf to the Clan and Carnationmimic has retired

226: Oh, this is so sad! Carnationmimic gave birth to Wishstar's kits (Cricketkit and Wetkit), but then Carnationmimic died! RIP!
232: Cricketpaw and Wetpaw are apprenticed to Wishstar and Leafbeam respectively
233: Wishstar and Sweetbounce became mates
236: Sweetbounce was killed by a fox
