broken((Yea- I'm still debating as to what should be in the carriage to cause this much chaos. Plot device, or mistaken plot device, hmmm...)) The one knight who remained behind with his captain was stiff as a whistle. The knight wasn't sure what had just happened, nor did expect this to happen at all. They usually took this path and never once had they encountered this problem. He herd russtling in a nearby clearing; quickly he took out his sword. "W-Who's there?" The knight called out trying to keep a straight voice, but clearly failing to do so.

(Something really precious. Maybe something meant to be for the royal family?)
Patrick slowly walked forward, barely raising his hands above his head. He was carrying a few simple replies, but nothing that should scare the knight. "I-it's only me," he spoke softly as he paused a few feet away, staring at the unconcious guy on the ground. "Might I ask what happened?"

((welp time to reply-))
The knight gazed at him with a ratehr cautious expression. He was rather baffled to see this stranger but for now he thought he should trust this newcomer. Compared to the rest this guy walked into the open. "We were heading to the castle, but were abruptly stopped by an unseen force. They knocked out our captain, then managed to kill two fellow knights who lay limp on the other clearing." He explained. "The carriage has gone loose for the horses run in panic. Alongside the horses are three fellow knights trapped in the carriage."

AuranskyPatrick blinked, still staring at the person on the ground. That must be the comander he was talking about. Slowly, he headed forward again, his hands still held up to show his innocence. "How has this information not gotten to the city yet?" He asked, not really expecting an answer. He eventually rose his gaze up to the knight again. "I doubt there would be anything I could do, but if there is I can try."

Here ^^ )
Calec watched the horses flee and the commander get knocked out, along with the newcomer. Who knew his little game would cause this. If he had known a corpse on the side of the road could cause this much chaos he would have done it much sooner. This was much more entertaining then simply waiting for another bandit to come along and attack him. What interested him though was the sudden attack from different directions. He hadn't planned that. There was another group at work here and he wanted to know what their cause was. Attacking a royal carriage like this had to have been planned, and of course they would need a reason. The royals were too powerful now for simple random attacks.
As the blacksmith worked Arai glanced over the remaining items.

((Replying-)) broken "N-No.." The soldier replied, "It just happened. We have two soldiers pursuing the carriage." He explained. "Well-if you don't mind finding a knight in town... we could appreciate it." He considered now. "They could help handle the situation.." He stated. He blinked at the thought, "You could also go after the carriage, but I couldn't bare you with such a burden." The knight added. "Perhaps, going to town to seek one of the knights would be best. I-I hear Arai is in town today.." 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 The carriage continued through the woods. Eventually though two bandits had planned this almost right and climbed the approaching carriage down the predicted path. Once on the carriage they used daggers to forcefully untie the horses to the carriage. With a successful unlatch, the horses paced on through the woods, while the carriage smashed itself against the forest floor. Being in the forest the sounds were pretty hearable for a small distance. The two bandits wore identical hoods, shrouding their faces from the light. They signaled to one another to get the three knights out of the carriage. ' The two knights racing after the carriage were unaware of the dislatch of the horse and carriage, so natrually they paced after the horses, completely taking a different way in hopes of retrieving their objective. --------------------- Coire had finished sharpening the weapon. He too had snuck in a quick polish. Carefully he grasped the weapon then approached Arai with a bright smile, "All good my good sir." He stated, handing the weapon back gently. "May the light see you through the darkest of times."

AuranskyPatrick blinked, finally lowering his hands. "I dont think i would be of any use trying to chase after the carriage. I don't even have a weapon that I could use to stop them," he sighed and glanced back the way they had come "I'll go get some help from a knight, like you suggested."

Calec stretched and leaned back against the base of the tree. Unless something happened soon this was going to get boring. The person who had just came up didn't even have a weapon, but was wandering through the woods. There was definitely something wrong there. Either he was lying or he was simply really dull. No one would go through these woods without some sort of weapon. Unless you had claws. Then you didn't have to worry.
Arai took his weapon and nodded, looking it over "Brilliant work." slinging it back over his back he pulled out his wallet and asked "How much will it be?"

((i have a demonstration with my class in a few hours. This may be my last stable post for the day)) broken The knight nodded, "M-Much appreciated!" He gazed over at the captain who murmered, "Please do hurry if you'd please.." He added with appreciation. 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 The two bandits had forced out the three knights within the carriage. Yet the three knights had a small box with them that they held dearly. "Oh brother.." One of the two bandits snickered, "We need to show them when to give up." "Ayre brother.." The second bandit agreed. "Also- they aren't walking out alive to begin with, so yea... they can burn like all the rest!" ------------------------------------- Coire smiled, "Just two gold if ya don't mind." (Because I still haven't established a currency despite telling myself too))

(Ok good luck!) Auransky Patrick dipped his head slightly, setting down the bag he had been carrying. "I will try my best to do so, sir," the teen replied as he turned and quickly headed off in the direction he had just come from. I've already met one knight, but hopefully this one will be on duty so he'll be easier to pick out.It hadn't taken long until he saw the city becoming clearer in the distancs. He picked up the pace, glancing over his shoulder one last time as he entered town. He paused and began searching the streets from where he stood.

"Oh?" Calec moved out along the branch to get a better look at the box. It didn't look like much, but both of the groups seemed to want it "Interesting..." perhaps he should do them the favor of taking it for himself. Rolling to the side he landed silently in the undergrowth around the tree's. When they started to move and fight the soldiers he would go for it. Of course he didn't know what it was, but if it was valuable it would most likely come in handy.
"That's a very good price for the work you do." Arai commented, handing him the coins with a friendly smile "I will definitely require your services again. My spear looks wonderful."

brokenThe knight watched Patrick rush off, then turned his attention back to the Captain, "C-Come on captain; get up.." He softly stated. 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛The three knights kept themselves well on their toes. The knight in the center held the box, tightly. The first bandit quickly; rushed towards the three knights. Quickly sliding to the left he managed to kick the knight away from his little group. The knight on the left quickly was tossed out with shock. Quickly the two remaning knights tensed up. What a mistake- The second bandit rushed in to tackle the center knight. He smiled seeing the knight to the right protecting the young cadet. He rolled to the side avoiding both the knights in the first place. This shocked the knights but that shock turned to utter pain. From behind the two knights arrows flung out; aimed for their legs. The arrows made their target, thus sending the two knights down to the ground. Despite this they refused to let go of the box. ----------------- Coire smiled, "Of ourse! come find me when you need services. That weapon is in a lovely condition, its admiring to see it." He explained. "Do keep yourself safe and best of luck!"

Calec took this chance to jump into the fray. With the knights focused on the bandits, and the bandits wallowing in their supposed win, no one would suspect a third party. Lengthening his claws slightly, not changing into his demon form completely, he jumped out of the bushes. Flipping around in the air he landed right in front of the knight who had the box clasped in his hands. Instead of trying to knock it out of his grasp Calec simply sliced the mans fingers off right there. Snatching the box he flipped backwards, retracting his claws, and landed behind the first bandit to avoid being surrounded.
"This is a nice box you have here." he mused, tossing it in his hand. Smears of red now covered the beautiful frame. "I wonder what's so important that it would have both the royal family and a group of bandits after it. I don't suppose either of you would be willing to tell me." Calec grinned, but there was no warmth in it. Just a cold threat disguised as a grin.
"I hope you stay in good health as well." he bowed slightly and took his leave.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 The knights screamed out in pain towards the attacks coming from multiple directions. The knight holding the box lost his grasp, due to the arrow to the knee, and now his fingers being cut off. He yelped, cried out and found himself freaking out at the pain. The other knight was so out of it; shocked to see how this scene had gone in several directions. W-What the?!Quickly the first bandit turned his attention towards Calec, "If ya know what's good for ya, you should hand over the box." The second bandit stood up and firm, "You shouldn't have walked into this, kid." He added, "Hand it over and we'll forget your existence appeared in this area."

"Hmm..." Calec ran his fingers along the box "I'm liking how this looks. So I think I'll keep it. Unless of course you'd be willing to give me something in return for giving it back." he doubted they had something he would like in their possession, but it was worth a shot. He had gotten some pretty interesting things from stealing things then bartering them back.

Patrick didn't see any knights yet, so he decided to head deeper into the city. He had been asked to hurry, so hopefully he would be able to find someone. If worse came to worse, he'd just have to backtrack where he had been today. The teen had been told one knight to try to find: Arai, but the only problem is that he's never met the guy before. Patrick headed toward where the blacksmith's shop was. it did seem to be a busy intersection. He blinked, looking around. "Arai?" He called out softly.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 (Patrick is looking for your knight f.y.i) "You can keep the box, we need the contents on the inside." The first bandit stated cautiously. "The contents in the box of no concern to you..." The second bandit crossed his arm, "Pffttt, that box is worth way more then the contents inside. But if you want that box, we just need what's inside." He snickered at the thought.

Sorry for the mega poof! My grandfather came to visit for a little while.)
Arai was about to head back when he heard his name. Looking over he nodded curtly to the one who had called him out "Hello. Is there something I can do for you?" it was his day off, but sometimes justice couldn't wait.
Calec shook the box a little, holding it up to his ear "Hmm, if what's in here is important all the better that I should keep it with me." he looked at the lock. It was intricate, a lock no silly bandit could break "I don't think you guys should try for this, whatever it is. This lock looks too complicated for creatures at your level of intelligence."

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ((Don't worry about poofing, I'm doing homework on a Sunday... #HigherEducation >.<' )) The first bandit stared at the box then at Calec, "Simple minded, what the hell ya taking us for?" He questioned, "If anything there is a purpose, a reason, and most certainly an expectation to these acts of show." He waved a hand gracing his cloak in the process, "So do give it up, or shant you see the lights of day..." "S-Shant?" The second bandit muttered in question. He shook his head, "Just give it up; it only makes you a bottom feeder to swipe it from the swippers. Tch, it's almost upsetting; to set this stage all for you to jump in without an invitation."

I feel you, I should technically be writing an essay and finishing up my physics hw.) "Poor losers are we? Perhaps if you were half as efficient as I you would have gotten the box already and have been gone. For me, they wouldn't even have known it was gone before it was too late." he sighed and shook his head, "You can try to take it back. But if you value your lives I wouldn't suggest it." he grinned and his eyes flashed red "But feel free to try. The last bandit I took out didn't put up much of a fight. Entertainment is always welcome."

broken, ((Spark replied xD)) The first bandit stood in place, listening to all the words carefully. This was partially true, but all their efforts to this action had a double meaning. We should back off, but- He gazed over at his partner, "What do ya say?" He softly asked. The second bandit gazed over, "Living, dying, like I could care less." He shrugged at the thought. "I could care less; this guy thinks he's safe, then it's all good. We just need to you know, put on a show." Just stall long enough? I like it! The first bandit stepped to the left, quickly tossing out five daggers simulatously towards Calec. The throw almost seemed like a game of darts.

There was something wrong here. Confident words were usually enough to drive scum like this away. Easily moving to dodge the daggers he waited to see what the other would do. This would get boring if he didn't end it soon. These bandits were obviously out classed. They couldn't even take a carriage. That and he didn't want to shift out of his human form. The sunlight, while it didn't hurt him or anything, in his demon form it did made his ability drain him slightly faster then usual.
