(I can’t find her form, but sure that’ll work! Russell’s probably outside the office watching Archie) Aliissa stalked along a road, her limp pronounced thanks to the slightly shorter leg. The click of her shoes as well as her cane against the stones. Her eyes roved over the houses, but she only saw about every other one. Suddenly she paused, sighing, and turned, sniffing the air. The scent of fire was still there, though faded. Catching Percival should have been easy, but there was always something about him...maybe it was just his originality, that meant that she couldn't get the proof. (Had no idea how to start...)

mintedstar/fur broken "Well." Glen glimpsed away, "We started with other items too.." He admitted, "Good, bad, decent, normal, and even animals." He frowned, "But some of the information also came from an outside source. Rumors of sorts from a group brought in for questioning not too long ago." He shared, "It was supposed to stop at rumors but then we stumbled on what we stumbled, and suddenly rumors aren't rumors." Auransky broken"Yes," muttered Lupin, understanding what Glen was talking about. At least, he thought he did. The ring on his finger spun between his fingers, around and around, as he fidgeted. "And while you can say that these crystals are most likely dangerous, do you actually know what they do?" His voice held the reservation of someone who didn't think he was going to like the answers.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 AuranskyLin made her way around the edge of the area the four men were in. Her shoulders were hunched, eyes narrowed, and she waited. She didn't want to jump in, not until the last second. But she fingered a short sword at her belt. It wasn't used often on others, but she was well trained. She watched Arai, staying low, staying in wait.

Auransky mintedstar/fur(I’m not really sure what to do with pat ) Patrick blinked a few times, eventually taking a few steps away from the table they had been experimenting on and just staring. “Well you saw what they did, right? They seem to burn and maybe even kill, if there are enough gems collected. I’m sure that if the kingdom gets a hold of them, then they’d make some weapons out of them.” — Mint (Don’t worry about it,it’s fine!) Russell and Archie were out walking around town after searching for herbs and medicines around town. The doctor was carrying a small basket full and the kid was running ahead a little bit, not paying much attention to where he was going. The doctor slowed down a little bit as soon as he turned down a street, noticing someone farther ahead, and the boy automatically hid behind him, grabbing a hold of his jacket as he walked up. “Excuse me miss, are you lost?” Russell asked with a grin.

brokenAliissa wrinkled her nose. "No. No I am not lost." Though Russell's question had not been spiteful, Aliissa's had been. "But I am looking for someone." She turned, shifting her grip on her cane so that it was easier to hold. "Have you seen a man with sandy blond hair? Smelling slightly of smoke, last I saw, rather damp?" She was giving a general description of Percival, since several of his usual features might have changed.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 mintedstar/fur ((I been trying to reply to this all week!)) ((Every device has either refreshed, or I lost wifi somewhere along the running from place to place)) The hit to the Man's unguarded side was cleary a rough one, but the man sucked in his stomach taking the direct hit. At the same time he instantly dropped his daggers, turning his body to punch Arai in the diaphram. He wasted no time to punch Arai in the diaphram, but at hte cost of his hand being smashed by the knight. With his smashed hand, he forced himself back, placing his hand carefully behind his back. "Oh why you!" He grunted. The next dive in attack was perhaps childplay, but it was obvious the knight stuck a nerve. He rushed at Arai sideways, with his elbow out to smack the knight off his feet. Coire was dealing with his own problem. But he was mostly avoiding at all costs. It wasn't that he didn't know how to fight, it was more that he didn't want to fight. But at this rate he might be forced to. While backing along the ground he slid his feet along the ground hoping to come along a rock, or stick. Something he could use to fight back. The blacksmith carried nothing on him this day. He was armless, and clearly on the recieving end. But if there was something to fight along with, just then may he have the chance he seeked. ((Also Spark!)) ((I been reading some of the powers /changes for afew of the chars on your other rp. The consequnces don't feel as equal to the usage of the abilities. :/ )) ((Like turning into animals but getting a bite or mark. That's like saying "I'm getting a tattoo for a day or two" assuming the role-player shrugs off the pain* like a champion. "as if not supposed to have the power" sounds godly..)) (( "More powers to come" Indicating, when someone has a power that stops my char? I mean as long as they ask you if its cool before hand. )) ((Sorry for bringing this up. I was bored and reading through the posts before replying. Just crossed my mind. The pros and cons. Hmm... School really forces you to think deeper on simple matters)) broken Mint((No worries broken. We all get that moment where we are put to the side. xD But I know that when you get the spotlight you will rock the floor LOL )) Glen was about to reply to the question when Patrick stepped forward. He couldn't help but nod along. Patrick was right, should the kingdom or anyone get a large quantity this could mean devistating war. Terrifying war... They also had the encounter with the prince earlier. Whom they passed off to Lupin as some random guy. Then there was the princess. That was just too much of acoincidence. "We ended up with these in our posesion by chance. And while each of us have our different views of the kingdom, what we can agree on is that these things can disrupt our lives. No matter how distant we live or choose to distance ourselves over time. I'm certain some mage can reproduce this with the right ingreediants, but then that leaves the matter of time." he shrugged, "I'm sorry for just dragging you into this, but with the confrontation back there, in away I felt the need to at least share with you this secret if you are spending your time here with us." He explained. "The last hing we want is for you to end up interogated for spending your time here, and being accused of something you dind't know. I don't want that kind of rude awakening for you." He added. "I'd rather you know now and decide if you still want to spend your time here or move on before mobility gets tight." He added.

XD You have a very good point. In all seriousness though I was actually looking over them last night (at like three when I couldn't sleep end me) and I'm going to be talking to them in PM about them.) There are a couple I'd like to tweak just a bit, but figured it would be easier if I talked to them one on one.)
Arai winced only slightly at the punch. He was always one to wear light armor but no matter, the attack hadn't done much damage. When the man rushed him Arai was debating whether or not he regretted not stabbing him when he had the chance. Jerking to the side he brought his spear up and decided to let the man run past him, kinda like a bull.

(My muse went 'poof'. :') ) Auransky 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 brokenLupin sighed and said, "Yet I fear and feel like I am in as deep as I am going to get. If I leave now, I just think I'll end up right back where I started. So going forward is the only way." He couldn't ever escape this, could he? The wrong time, the wrong place, and the wrong crowd, just like old times really. "How can I help," he said, feeling that he was trying to dig himself out of a hole. --- (To have Lin jump in or not...) Lin sighed, almost inaudibly. Even if Coire found something he could use it would be next to useless. She drew her knife and sprang out from her hiding place, landing between Coire and the other man. "Can't stay out of trouble?" she asked scathingly. She didn't look at Coire and instead glared at Coire's 'problem'. "Doesn't know when to back off, does your friend?" she asked Coire.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 mintedstar/fur broken((Sorry for not replying r.i.p )) THe man rushed at Arai at full speed. Perhaps too much speed; for him to crash directly into the tree. He hadn't realized the knight, lept out of the way. instead his vision narrowed; focusing on one thing. Yet that tree crash was more then enough to stumble him back. He obviously wasn't the sharpest tool in the barn. Coire continued shuffling his feet along the ground. He had found something of use; it appeared to be something shattered, not recent but still better then nothing. All that mattered now was the timing; if he could plan it right the threat would cease. If he could fend him off without killing the man. Yet his focus diverted towards Lin's voice. He would have been surprised, but the knight's appearance made it obvious that she was somewhere nearby. The man going for Coire raised his brow seeing Lin. "Friend?" His voice croaked. "I have friends? No no no..." he shook his head, "But you have friends, how unsettling." He quickly put away one of his daggers and pulled out a liquid substance; hesitating no time to pour the liquid over on the dagger. With the soaked dagger he spun it around a bit, letting the substance bounce off the knife, onto the living forest floor. "Mmm... my hand might just slip." He quickly took out the second dagger after putting away the small bottle. he wasted no time clashing the two blades; with a small spark breaking through on occassion. ((Gee.e..... I wonder which direction this is going.)) "Now hold on.." Glen paused, "You're not deep, yet." He replied. "Just at the surface. The issue could be resolved if you decided to leave, but.." He slowed his pace. "But just keep in mind that these things should they land in the wrong hands; can and will spread. I can imagine rulers spreading their fists beyond the boundaries of existence with this. That's what all rulers want right? To rule the world. At least that's what we see... but even then. We don't know how much of this exists. If it can grow, spread, orr if it's been around longer then we have considered." He frowned. "This isn't our job... The castle is aware of it. But the people are not. But even then... this ended up on our doorstep..." He was referring to the prince, but the crystals fit in just well too." He fell silent. Waiting for Lupin's response he felt a little nervous. However... when the fallen angel asked how he could help; Glen couldn't help but smile. "Well for now, we are going to clean up any traces and evidence of this." He stated. "We have some buckets of salt that need to be blended with water. We'll be scattering the water where we used the crystal, now that its been removed. At least to remove traces. Not all of them, but at least the obvious traces." He explaoined. "After that dinner, and we'll go from there."

As soon as the man stumbled Arai took his chance. He drove the sharp tip of the spear into the mans calf. The weapon would do considerable damage and ground the man. If he was given the order to kill him, Arai would have no trouble. The damage done to the leg would likely cripple the man as well. Even if he did let the man live his life of crime would be over.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 broken Auransky Lin looked at the knife briefly and said, completely unphased. "Aw, look at that. He doesn't want to get me all dirty with his daggers. Isn't that nice of him, blacksmith?" She didn't remove her eyes from the man, using her voice to buy her a little time, even if it was just some witty banter. At least, she thought it was witty. Her own knife flicked through the air, just to show the man that she was armed as well, and that she knew how to use her weapon. "Please careful what you say to me. It will not end as well as you seem to think it will." Lupin sighed. Yes. Maybe Glen was right, but that 'right' was probably for other people. The fallen angel said that it was too late to back out, and it honestly was. Not because of outside forces, but because of his own personality. Glen's smile caused Lupin to crack a weak one of his own. "Very well. If you say so." Cleaning he could probably do. Sort of. He'd have to stay away from where they had used holy water. "Direct me where needed," he said to the two people he was with.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 mintedstar/fur The spear to the calf, truly forced him to let out a hightened cry of pain. The man was already out of it from the hit to the tree, but the direct stab brought him back to his senses of pure pain. Quickly he threw his weapons in hand acros the clearing. He collapsed to the floor, in pure anger and knocked himself out due to the pain. Coire raised a brow, I doubt he wants to keep you clean... The man had his attention on Lin, her cockiness was quite the distraction. "Stay out of this!" He told the young lady, then turned his attention to see his partner collapse in pain, then turned away from Lin, to charge at Coire, who was backing away. The time the man was distracted with Lin, gave Coire a bit of space: enough space to roll out of the way. The young blacksmkith forced his way towards the thrown daggers. It was the opening he needed. mintedstar/fur broken"Okay so maybe things are grimmer then we are refusing to accept." Glen trailed off at hte thought. "But for now, let's just make sure we use herbal water, and salt around the places we've been on." he instructuted. "From the entrance, to the areas we just walked. It doesn't have to be exactly where we walked, but scattered should help hide the more obvious signs." He added. "Buckets are right around the corner, containing salt. Just need to toss it in various directions, then we'll go in with some prepared herbal water over the salt. We'll need to split up quickly to cover to more ground."

Arai smirked and flicked his spear, drops of blood spattering against the hard forest ground. He quickly turned to watch the other man charge. He wasn't worried. Lin had shown her ability multiple times and against someone so low caliber he wouldn't have to get involved. If things happened to get messy though, he could always step in.

Lin rolled her eyes and easily stepped between the man and Coire, trying not to let Coire have an opening to the man either. Honestly, he probably thought he was helping, but he wasn't. But really, she thought without pausing, if he wanted to get himself killed, why should she stop him? She darted forward at the attacker, knife out and movements swift as she slashed at his face. 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Auranskybroken"Fine," said Lupin with a sigh as he moved where directed. He picked his way over to the buckets and took one before doing as Glen had instructed. He didn't look particularly happy about it and stayed far away from where the holy water had been used to test the crystals.

mintedstar/fur brokenGlen shrugged in uncertainty, "The mages claim it to work. But then again.." He paused, "This thing we have is not known, so its affects may be different. Nonetheless, we should attempt to work with what we know." He assured. "If it comes down to it, we remove the crystals from here and work with them at a different location." He assured the two, mainly in response to Patrick's question. he snatched a shovel, and began shoveling the ground, mixing it in sections while it was wet. "FOr the area that was lit on fire, we can just add more rocks to make it appear like we had a meal outside the previous night." He suggeseted. "PAtrick, if you can perhaps go search for rocks out in the woods with Lupin. I can set them around the areas that were burnt shortly after this." Glen asked. ((Ugh I deleted my original post. Upset ;-; )) 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 MintThe man targetting Coire, was narrow focused. He did not see Lin's slash to the face jump about. The blow was a painful one, causing the man to cover his face with his two hands; dropping his daggers in the process. In pain he screamed, stomping the ground like a mad man on fire. He stumbled, and rattled, until he fell from loss of balance. Evden on the ground he rolled, and toppled, and screamed even more. Clearly applying pressure to his face was not helping. Coire stood in utter shock, what had just happened was the last hting he expected. Surely something of lacking chivalry. But still the situation did indeed call for it. He looked over at Arai who seemed to have wrapped up his situation with the man collapsed on the ground. Then turned towards Lin then the other man in pain. He swallowed now, in uncertainty. The two men were terrors, but now remained the two horrors of a lifetime. The princess, and her knight... "Well.." Coire softly muttered. "I appreciate the assitance, but surely i am not worthy of such intervention." He stated, "Perhaps I was meant to suffer there, for I am no fighter." He admitted, "BUt you have my thanks." He dipped his head in respect. "Ah but I must ask, why spend your time on what is now night on a cold lowly forest such as this?"

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 mintedstar/fur Coire was taken aback by her comments, but he kept a straight face. It would be a sign of disrespect to fire back towards the suspicious comment. But then again, the actions from earlier was perhaps all of that if not more. On the other hand he couldn't help but briefly glimpse at the two men on the floor. When asked about his wereabouts he crossed his arms, then shrugged. "Well forgive me for sounding very pessimistic, but I was on my way home." He replied directly. "At the end of the day even shop owners must resume the trip home. I unlike the majority of people do not live within the castle walls. I live quite a bit ways away from the safety walls." He shifted his foot along the ground, "I still have a ways to go. What I wasn't expecting was someone on this end. For the same reason I live in this direction sway from all travel paths typically taken by both royal and common people." "But then again.." he bit his lowerlip, "Now that you mention this forest in such a way, I guess you have a point." Arai walked over to the two and listened to the Princess be increadibly suspicious. Not how he would have handled it, but she did have a way with words. A way that might lead to a dagger in the side... but he was there to make sure that didn't happen. Stopping to stand beside her Arai placed his spear over his shoulder.

"Your son?" she guessed, looking back at Russell. But she shrugged, as it didn't matter. "And what is your occupation?"
