(I don't. I have enough to focus on. xD Maybe something light. I was considering doing something for the newspaper a few semesters ago. It looked like fun.
Whoops, got to go! Anything else I'll try and answer when I get back!)

(Depends on the college. The one I go to is good and pretty awesome. Don't freak out to much until you actually set foot on the campus. If you have any more questions, go ahead and ask and I'll do my best to answer.
No worries. It's fine.)

(I mean I know each college has its pros and cons, but I'm just mostly worried about how I'll do workload wise since I'm going into the science/medicine field. I heard veterinarian school is tough ^^' Plus I'm extremely shy and never speak unless I absolutely have to[/i], so I'm not really good at making new friends, and I'm partially worried about that. But that's a stupid thing to think about right now... I guess I do have a question, if you can even answer it. How's life on campus, like living in the dorms?)

(Yeah, I've heard that that fields really hard as well. I can't vouch for the workload so much but I know that it's hard getting into the programs because of how many people want to do the same type of field. Heh, I'm shy and don't usually speak to others either. I have a couple of good acquaintances and I've gotten to know a couple of the professors. The campus is large, so I might have one class with someone and than only see them a scattering of times throughout the next year. Usually I get to know them pretty well though, so when I see them I can usually talk with them easily. It's pretty peaceful. But my college doesn't have dorms, so can't really say what ones with people living on campus are like. But I can make it to class without worrying about a hundred or so people coming at me going the opposite direction. xD Have you visited the campus of the college you plan on going to? That would at least give you an idea about what things will be like.)

(Hey I actually have a little bit of free time today^^ I probably won't rp though. I mostly stopped by because I had a question *pokes Auransky or any other college kiddo here* My question is probably a really stupid one and idk if I should do this over PM or not, but: So I'm going to be a freshman this coming semester and I go to set up my class schedules soon. I took an AP exam and if I get a 3, 4, or 5, I'll get credit hours for German (I'm not sure how much the college will give me yet). But for the college I'm going to, I only need 15 hours to minor in German. I was wondering if it was stupid to minor and major in something right off the bat. Should I wait until next year? This is probably confusing, I'm sorry! I mean, I was going to talk to the professors and/or counselors whenever I set up my class schedules, but I wanted to get an opinion from a college student. I hope you don't mind!) ((Gonna take the time to answer this + anything else now.)) ((15 hours is the equvilent to 15 units: language classes across the states are normally three units. Therefore five classes to make your 15 hours. That in most cases can count as a minor, or an associates degree depending on the college. I would suggest you confirm this with a councilor on your new campus once there.))
((Second.. It's never stupid to go right off the bat for a major and minor. But keep in mind of your time while you study, and teh certainty of your degree. Generally many like myself will go with an idea for majors/minors. But since we're fresh on the plate, we have about 60 units to toy around with. Those 60 units will be our G.E's or Associates to better term it.)) ((During your first 60 units you work on either one of two things, your G'E's or GE/Early dip into your major/minor.)) ((All school's require a different set of classes, and some schools offer more classes then others. This is the same for Community to 4 year, or a 4 year to a 4 year))
((Where two four years offer the same major, the class requires though the same will differ based on each school's specialty.)) ((So speaking with the counselor on a constant basis will be a healthy route to go. They can check on your progress, classes, and help unscramble your ideas towards your dream career.))
((If you are still somewhat uncertain about a degree, I'd say take the entry level courses of that degree and see if you like it. Worst comes to worst while still at an early stage, you change majors. But those classes will not go to waste because they cover your basic under 60 G.E units regardless of them being your major or not.))
((I took a Child and Adolescent class a few semesters back. But that was during the time I declared Elementary Ed. When I switched to secondary, all my classes were easily fit into a slot because they were either G.E's or counted towards my desired field. At the end of the day Education classes fit in reguardless.)) ((Everything except the Child and Adolescent class now fit as a field, but that class now counted as a G.E course etc.))
((If you are only seeking to minor in German, I'd say go for it.)) ((Three-Four classes wont harm you, and two of those three to four can count as G.E's too at the end of the day.)) ((I am going to minor in Spanish because where I am at, it is only two classes therefore six units more to my already packed schedule.)) ((So a major in social science - field: History/Minor Spanish [something like that?] (I told you it's a confusing question. Um, how do I reword this? Basically my question is, is it a good idea to minor and major in something at the same time? Or do you think the workload would be too much? (I think that's what I'm asking)) ((Again, it can and isn't. It's both a yes and no answer)) ((It's fine to declare something now, and change your major. During your first year it is more then common to have people change majors 15 times because they've only taken what six classes? [average])) ((But should you take a I dunno-200+ level or B level or whatever counts as a second year course, do be considerate and sure with yourself that , that is the direction you would like to head in)) ((The minor I don't see harm, if it's less then 20 units and you've already got some experience, study for it. Or take it between intersessions etc.))
((As for workloads being too much, that will always depend)) ((THere is three factors -)) (( Professor - is the professor strict, heavy workload, easy, simple, complex, confusing? Communication is the key to success, and without asking questions, or looking for a professor that will fit you , things will be difficult)) ((Understanding - Is said subject something you understand? Do you get it easly or need more time to spend?)) ((You - motivated, are you working, volunteering, spending time omitted to something else? Consider these and anything else that will pull you away from school work. Every one hour of class should have 2 hours outside of the class per day to study [average]. Whether you like to communicate or not, sometimes you will need to form a study group just to get studyign done. Whether it be filling out a study guide, or discussing the lecture in the library.))
((Use Rate My Professor before finalizing your schedule. Look at all the classes being offered, days and times. Using RMP, it'll give reviews by students about said professor's work, schedule and difficulty. This online site helps students balance the workload from hard core, to soft and assuring they can use that time to focus on something else.)) ((Sometimes students don't have many choices on professors based on the time, so they use the site to find the lesser of two evils etc. Boy that app works wonders for 7am classes. :3 ))
((By Understanding, I refer to the class and content. Here's a scary reality check: something you may have easily passed in high school may become torch ere in College. Again- because of the teacher teaching it at both levels. I failed Astronomy my freshmen year of college, but had a passing grade in high school. The difference? Lecture wise: nothing.)((But the homework and time spent on the content made much of a diff. This astronomy teacher never had us do homework, just lectrue. We had textbooks but she never said anything. No she expected us to read, and study alongside the lecture. Only by familiarizing ourselves with the content would we come to understand and better score.))
((That's where you come in. Some professors may never hand out homework. Lecture + 4 exams = final grade. If you aren't studying or at least looking at it twice a week, chances of passing vary. YOu can pass if you know the content, or fail because you just don't bother to look at the content. Reading the chapters before the lectrues can be a big help, or after the lecture can be too.)) ((Depending on the difficulty of the course, the harder it is the little more time you want to spend on it. Another wise tip is if you know right off the bat that the subject is your weak spot: either back off on classes that semester, or take other classes in content you are most familiar with.)) ((This semester I'm taking two history classes , Music + Econ. Econ is my weak point so the two history classes as long as I read the text book and fill in my study guides for the exams, I can pass with more time for Econ. Music, the way this instructor is teaching it forces me to study a bit, but he bases his exams more on the music. So on my car rides I can listen to the music and glimpse at my flashcards to see who composed which piece.)) ((Communicating is key for success. Professors have office hours, use em. They understand the stress and if you go early on and keep staying with them for questions and guidance, they can ease your life a little by secret deadline extensions or an extra point or two along the way. They can also help soften other professors you currently have if you play your cards right))
**((I took Chem and Physics in the summer alone. That was enough for me, and too much for me to handle. But I somehow passed!))((Took my Bio class in January: three week course condenced and the exams were based on the textbooks more then the lecture. Lots of reading, but I passed that too)) (So do consider your workload to be affected by real life things and not so real life things. I work and sometimes that overlaps on my time. Except-I'm allowed to bring my hoemwork to work since my job sometimes isn't as interactive as it normally is)) (No, no it's fine. I also had another question. So many questions, I'm sorry! It's all new to meIs it a good idea to get involved in extra curricular activities?) ((Going back to the YOU from above. It depends on you, the semester and whatever else you got going on. From personal experience, I think having an extra curricular activity is good. It helps me alliviate my stress, and worries while I get sore from kicking across the room)) ((During the summer/early fall: I may spend time at the pool swimming a few laps after classes. Then...lock myself out of my locker as per usual >.> BUT ANYWAYS.. Swimming yea!)) ((But it's also important not to overbook yourself. I have a fish hobby, Taekwondo teaching, I am a taekwondo student, and I work for a school district. Nothing's close and it involves commuting a bit, but it's how I make it work out. Since you are living close to the school basically, you can stack up your classes in one day, or spread em out during the week to have time on things during your afternoons/mornings/nights)) ((Most people find it easier to just stack all the classes in one day so they can spend the rest of the week focusing on work+personal drama. But again, preference!)) ((Varies from person to person, most sane commuters will scream "Stack into one day" but living on campus or working will change that so it can fit your needs)) (It does, don't worry! I'm just kinda freaking out about it right now because I keep hearing stories about it being good or bad and I really don't know what to expect. And I'm kinda just rambling at this point.) ((Yes actually, that's pretty accurate.)) ((What happens is one of two things)) 1st- ((You read a school Catalog and spin your head after reading the long list of requirements. Therefore taking every single class because it's on the list, and shrugging that you prefer one over the other.)) 2nd- ((You go meet with the head of department of your major and ask for suggestions based on the schedule you set up with your counselor. The heads of departments specialize in your declared field and know how to simplify the long list of classes required for a degree. )) ((For example: I took a rarely given history class on my campus, and because it covers the same area of content as another required class: the head of department with the advisers will count it towards my field. BOOM saved myself a class xD) ((Every campus has two sets of advisers. - You have your general Counselors who bounce you with the classes you need based on declared major/plan)) ((And you have head of departments with their own team of advisers who will show you the specific classes you need, + occasional short cuts because one class magically counts for two criteria)) ((As long as you see your advisor/counclor regularly, you should be fine. But also take the time to read course descriptions because maybe one option will fancy to you more. Here's a list of a college's requirements for history. Lot's of classes, yes, but they ask for one , two or a few per category letting the student choose the route. etc)) (I mean I know each college has its pros and cons, but I'm just mostly worried about how I'll do workload wise since I'm going into the science/medicine field. I heard veterinarian school is tough ^^' Plus I'm extremely shy and never speak unless I absolutely have to, so I'm not really good at making new friends, and I'm partially worried about that. But that's a stupid thing to think about right now...I guess I do have a question, if you can even answer it. How's life on campus, like living in the dorms?) Don't worry too much about making friends or not. Communication is a key, but if you listen between your classmates, and keep a ken eye out, you'll find one person who will be in the same classes as you. Little by little, you'll talk and the rest follows. Slowly 1 becomes 2 , and 2 becomes 3... friends will come with time during your studies. )) ((Just be cautious of who you let into your circle, because you are a freshmen, and typically you will be taking entry level classes therefore lots of freshmen. It's during your first two years you will see who is serious about this and who isn't. +College is about adult topic stuff that the forum rules don't want us to talk about ugh... but just keep an eye on your stuff, don't leave open drinks unattended, and if you have to take a night class or wander around empty parts at night just be safe, okay? Not all campuses are bad, but freshmen typically go crazy and drag people into this whole illusion of party time. It's true in a sense, but there's a time to party and a time to study)) ((The Campuses themselves tend to be pretty calm and quiet. Since people are going for their classes the courtyards are usually always empty, quiet and peacefulr, with the ocassional rush hours of students waiting for the next class/hanging out because exams ended class earlier then usual. )) ((I'd say , take your time to explore the campus and find places you can find to study.)) ((I have a few personal spots I hand out in, and boy do classmates come find me when it comes to study groups... Q.Q)) ((So I just google doc all my study groups and hope they don't come find me, BUT THEY STILL COME LOL)) ((I have never lived in a dorm, but I have spent a few nights in em with friends. It's always common for freshmen areas or newer students whether they transfer or are freshmen to stay up late, but the overall Jr's-uppergrads make it intimidating usually to cause havoc after a certain hour. Unless it's a dedicated freshmen quarter, then things will vary.)) ((But they usually are peaceful, except the weekends, major holidays and vacation breaks etc)) ((I commute cheaper, and nicer etc)) ((+My older brother lives near the campus so I bunk with him when I'm too lazy to drive home. )) ((Just give it some time, feel free to ask more questions and we'll answer to our best extent))

( mintedstar/furYeah I've visited the campus one time so far, but that was only because it was required. I probably sounded crazy because I basically asked the same questions that I did here. AuranskyOh wow, you're full of information, thank you! Alright cool, so both of you think it's a good idea to both minor and major in something. I'll talk to them whenever I set up my schedule, but I'll probably go ahead and do that And the workload ^^" great...I'm fine with studying and everything, but I have testing anxiety, so I always be horrible on exams and stuff... You're in a lot of extra curricular activities o.o maybe I'll sit the first year out to see how things go. Mostly because I don't think I'll like stacking my classes into one day, plus I have to balance that and a job, etc. Hey I already talked to the head of the department major when I visited campus the first time. He gave me a paper with suggested classes and whatnot to take. Alright, I'll talk to the advisors/councilors regularly then! I'll take your word for it I'll probably make friends eventually and if not, then who cares right? And don't worry, I've heard that lecture from my grandparents like a thousand times. I'll be careful! If I have anymore, I'll ask!)

The group had gotten away from the small residential area, and returned to the living streets of Nolyra. Though the crowds were big, it was still better for them to seek refuge temporarlly while Patrick and himself demand for answers. At the next end of the street, he pointed to his shop, signaling the others to slow their pace. Assuring everyone slowed their pace, he ran on ahead to unlock the door, quickly opening it and signaling everyone to go inside.

"If anyone's injured we should look at that first." "D-Does fear count as an injury?" Lyle softly asked. "NO!" Coire snapped at him. "Rather then an injury on you, why are you here? Auransky lozi broken "How many of us didn't realize that he was a demon?" asked Lupin quietly. He'd stopped playing with random items and was instead looking down at his hand. Slowly, he started to rub at the gold ring. "I'm not injured," he added. "Though it was probably a close thing." Was he considered an even match against a demon? He was sorely out of practice and wasn't very confidant in his abilities at this point. He looked up at Coire. "You friend here seems to have gotten himself mixed up with a very interesting...person....I was attempting to help."

He looked over at Lupin briefly, "I'm sorry for our companion dragging you into such troubling experiences.." Lyle turned towards Patrick, while getting scolded he was silently looking away. Auransky broken(It's fine. That's always more important to get done.) Lupin seemed ill at ease. "Demon. He was very definitely a demon." He held up on arm, pointing to it. "He changed his arm, proving the matter. But he was very clearly no friend of this boy's." He put his hand down. "And apologizing is useless. I was a fault. I got myself into the troubling experience by exploring this town in the first place. It was only by luck that I happened to find him," he nodded at Lyle. "And that we got away before anything distasteful could happen." At Lyle's sudden call, the fallen angel raised an eyebrow and turned his attention to him. "You were attacked by a demon? How are you still alive?"

"I wasn't here to see if he was a demon or not," he muttered, glancing over at Lupin. "But I guess I can trust what you're saying." He then looked back at the prince, waiting for him to answer Lupin.

mintedstar/fur broken((Now I gotta work on my last big paper of the semester... ugh....)) Lyle rapidly nodded, "N-No, No he is no friend of mine!" He agreed with Lupin quickly. "But he's no good news, he's the same guy who toyed with me last night. He led me to what I was looking for and swiped it within seconds!" He paused to take in a deep breath. He was terrified of the events which had just taken place. It wasn't a pleasent feeling, it was rather a scary one. The prince's attention turned to Patrick nodding once again. "Y-Yes...that's the very same demon who put me on the floor. He fled right as you two were arriving. He thought guards were coming in large numbers, and he said something about getting more then he needed." He was about to mention the crystal's but seeing Coire's expression in the background he turned away. "It was pure dumb luck for being left alive." He indirectly replied to Lupin's question. "He was having fun, laughing and just pircing thorough: commented that it was childs play." He placed a hand along his neck's sleeve and pulled back a bit to reveal bandages which were placed on him over the night. "I'm still in pain from the other night, but going through the town I forgot about it for a brief moment, it was a moment of truth and a moment excitment-until he approached me." Coire let out a hefty shrug, "Whether you were at fault or not, you nearly got yourself killed. He was our responsibility and we looked away. So we thank you for finding him in the least: gods forbid what may occur should he be dead. His mother would be most concerned." He stated indirectly , careful not to give away who he really is. It was still risky to give Lyle away, but at the same time this gentlemen he met earlier appeared like a good guy. They talked, and those exchange of words brought a different feel to him. So maybe, it would be alright to open up to this guy about the stiuation right? But he could also be a spy, an individual away from public eye to keep himself trustworthy at first sight. Such questions and concern in the air.

If you really want info you could always pay me for it. Or get some common sense." he added that last sentence as a bitnif a stab. He had realized it was the prince since he first met him. The circumstances were a bit different, but he was still there in front of their eyes just a moment before.

Auransky broken (That's a pain. >.< ) Lupin was silent. He wasn't sure what else he could say. Instead he leaned back, looking up at the ceiling. He took of one ring, holding it up to his eye and looking through it. "I feel like I'm missing something," he finally said. "Like I don't know all the answers to the questions." He closed one eye, squinting at nothing. "But I wont ask. In fact, I don't want to know. I have my own problems and I'll offer what help I can without you needing to say anything to me." Though, if the demon ever came back, and if it was only yesterday that Lyle had first met him... well, if Lupin stayed around then they would probably meet again. The fallen angel might need to find some way to fight before then.

"I have no problem with following you around, because, you see, I have nothing to do." The word 'nothing' came out in a hissing-growl. "I think you'll get used to my presence. It will also mean I can see if you try and approach any other random stranger on the grounds you did that boy." If it really was so clear, Percival didn't want to see it. Maybe he'd already guessed and wanted verbal confirmation. Maybe he hadn't guessed at all and really was trying to find out the answers. Who knew?

There was a flash of irritation in Calecs gaze before he snorted "And what if I don't want you to follow me? What will you do if I insist to be left alone." there was no way he was going to have this crazed man follow him around all day. If it did come to it Calec would be more than pleased to kill him and be on his way. Really the only reason he hadn't was the angel he knew resided in this kingdom. Fighting him again was not high on his to do list. He's said it before and would say it again. Angels were a nuisance and hard to deal with. Their weapons were made to take down things like him. Not only that, there were tons of them. Demons were much harder to come by these days.

𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛Percival considered the question. "Not sure what I'd do. But I have a feeling it would be interesting to see what you would do if I refused and followed you anyway. And," he held up a finger to note an extra point. "If I do decide to leave, how do you know I'm not secretly following you? So in the end, I could just turn around, walk away, and you would never know if I was following." He meant it when he said 'never'. The vampire wasn't easy to find when he didn't want to be seen.
