W E L C O M E T O I V Y C L A N
-A N E L E M E N T A L C L A N R O L E P L A Y- Ivy. You don't notice it at first. But with each passing day it grows, silently covering the forest. Some can see the beauty in it. The collection of many individual leaves making a blanket along the trees, many parts forming a singular unit. But others know that ivy can poison. Ivy can suffocate the plant as it struggles to survive below. Ivy is mysterious. Ivy is powerful.
The cats that inhabit the Ivy Forest are just as beautiful and just as dangerous. Some have flame flickering from their paws. Others seem to make the earth tremble. You can see tendrils of ivy with a small wooden icon around each of the cat's necks. Occasionally, you'll notice their fur appears to have been painted in many colors with berries. Some are even stranger still, with powers even the others don't seem to possess...
And yet in all of this, they are one. They are a family, strictly bound together by their heritage and moral code. They lay down their lives for each other, go on harrowing journeys together, and offer their only scraps of food to the weakest members among them in a show of respect and solidarity. They provide beauty to the forest... but they can also destroy at a moment's notice.
Welcome to Ivyclan, home of the elemental cats. How will these powers shape your destiny?
A B O U T
Welcome to Ivyclan, a unique clan roleplay.
[[DISCLAIMER: I would like to begin by stating that yes, I love to write. A little too much. So I know this clan page is very information heavy. The clan is unique, and that can be daunting if you just want to start roleplaying quickly. But I promise, if you need the sparknotes, I've got you. If you're interested in joining and are struggling to read this all, go ahead and join and ask questions along the way. I'll give you the highlights of what you need to get started and I promise I'll never get impatient. Please join I worked so hard on this]] That being said, Ivyclan is a plot-based roleplay that offers a Warriors-like clan experience with several non-canon unique features. In this RP, cats [as well as other predatory animals when specified by me] are born with one of the four elemental powers [Air, Fire, Water, Earth]. You can expect to be able to roleplay unique fights, trainings, and experiences with this feature, while staying limited to a list of power rules and regulations outlined below to maintain RP balance. Enjoy roleplaying your cat as they grow in their powers and learn to wield them for good... or for evil. For some cats, their powers do not stop at their birth-element. This land was formed in such a way by the Divine Ancestors that unique powers often pooled into one spot, creating a PowerStone. PowerStones are scattered throughout the realm, and occasionally cats are blessed enough to be given a quest by StarClan to find one... or, very rarely, can stumble across one on accident. You can expect to be able to roleplay one of your cats as they go on a mission with a few of their friends [or enemies] to claim a unique PowerStone for themself. You can also expect to see how these unique powers give some cats an advantage in battles over their Elemental-Only peers. Of course, this can lead to power struggles and tyrants, which may also lead to some intriguing roleplay. Another unique aspect of Ivyclan lies in their traditions. Ivyclan cats share many festivals and ceremonies that other clans do not, and to roleplay in Ivyclan, one needs to learn to become familiar with them, as they will often be an integral part of our plot at any given moment. Examples include totem bestowal, trials, quests, and festivals. Ivyclan operates on a continuous timeline, and you can expect for your character to get the chance to join in these fun and exciting traditions from time to time. I will announce as time progresses in-rp, but you can expect to see an in-rp moon pass every OOC month, unless otherwise stated. That means, you can roughly plan on your cat progressing from newly named apprentice to warrior after 6 months OOC, and can expect to have a wide range of festivals celebrated during that time. These time shifts are subject to change based on majority roleplayer activity. Bearing this in mind, I believe it is also important to emphasize that Ivyclan is plot based. There will be plenty of time to roleplay your character at your own pace, to form friendships, and to explore your own plots. However, I [Blue] have many plot ideas up my sleeve and will be gently pushing the clan roleplay in different directions to ensure a constantly moving, exciting roleplay. I am looking for my fellow RPers to be as active as you are realistically able to and stay up to date with plot points. The more engaged you are with this roleplay, the more I will choose your cats for fun plots and powers! But don't worry, I will never get tired of answering any questions you have to ensure you're as integrated as possible, and promise leniency when life gets in the way. I want us all to just have fun together! If you are interested in joining, I plead for you to just try us! No matter our page count or the intricacy of the plot, I will do whatever I can to get you up to date and involved. This roleplay, above all, should strive to be a warm and inviting community. So feel free to reach out, ask a question, or just chat with us. And if you're as excited about this as I am... then I'll see you in Ivyclan!
C U R R E N T I N F O R M A T I O N
Current Season:
⤕ Mid Greenleaf ⤕The days are hot, the nights are warm, and the prey is abundant ⤕Herbs are also abundant, thanks to the land Ivyclan has claimed from Willowclan ⤕All cat ages will progress by 1 moon on 6/11/23
Upcoming Festivals and Traditions: ⤕ A Gathering is being planned! Tenyative Date: 6/8 or 6/9? ⤕ The Day of Competition may be planned soon! Probably after the gathering. Check back for more info! ⤕ The first quest has been planned! Probably after the Day of Competition. Check back for more info!
Overarching Plot: ⤕ Thistlestar has emphasized power all throughout her many moons as leader. She insists on increasing training sessions between warriors and apprentices alike, supervising them, and frequently assigns punishments to cats who perform subpar. She even went as far to apprentice a litter early, at 4 moons of age, in an attempt to keep up with Willowclan's reported kit-abundant newleaf. Cats of Ivyclan are used to her power obsession these days, though some who disagree with her ways still grumble about it. She is also constantly trying to find new patches of land that can be taken from Willowclan, and there are rumors that she is planning another territory battle soon for the fields next to the Willowclan Boneyard...
Subplots and Dramas:
⤕ Thistlestar appointed Mintkit, Tinykit, and Stoatkit to apprentices at 4 moons, inciting the dislike of many members of the clan, most notably Shadecreek, who spoke out against her at the ceremony, and Foxskip, the mother of the kits.
⤕ Thistlestar made Ebonywhisker give up her position as warrior and move to the elder's den post-accident. This is a bit of old news, but the drama from it is still fresh as it's been only a couple of moons.
⤕ Frecklecloud and Greenthorn are loyal warriors of Ivyclan, but have never known who their true parents are. Though most assume they were clanborn, some have their suspicions.
⤕ A hunting patrol was attacked by an Earth Elemental Badger! Mintpaw and Shadecreek were both badly injured, and many more sustained light injuries. Will Mintpaw's injury lead to drama over his early apprenticeship? (My money is on YES) ⤕ Thistlestar is now holding a clan meeting regarding the badger attack. She is somehow blaming her clan for what happened???
⤕The meeting ended poorly. Many cats spoke out against Thistlestar and blamed her for Mintpaw's injuries. In retaliation, Thistlestar reassigned Mintpaw (who was being mentored by Frecklecloud) to Dapplesky, and Pebblepaw (who was being mentored by Shadecreek) to Shatterfrost. This already is backfiring, as both apprentices are upset by this and scheming on how to get around this new verdict.
⤕ Shadecreek and Brambletalon both argued with Thistlestar, resulting in her reassigning Pebblepaw to Shadecreek, with the caveat that Shatterfrost has to oversee their training. She also said that if Pebblepaw didn't succeed in his training, Shadecreek would be banned from ever having another apprentice, and Pebblepaw would have a delayed warrior ceremony.
⤕ Meanwhile, Shadecreek appears to have made quite a friend with a certain Willowclan cat!
⤕ Dapplesky had a panic attack over having to train Mintpaw, being terrified that Thistlestar would be disappointed in her and punish them both. Brightmist offered to help train Mintpaw in secret on her behalf.
⤕Peonypaw has been padding after Patchpaw, and all the clan knows that she is obviously in love with him... except Patchpaw himself. Meanwhile, Pebblepaw is the one who seems to want Peonypaw's attention...
Open Plots: ⤕ Early Apprenticeship: Thistlestar has recently appointed some apprentices before they were old enough! This has caused some difficulty in training, emotional trauma, and judgement from other cats! Your 'apprentice' will be 4 Moons old, will be siblings with another RPer and have another RPer as a mom. [1 CLAIMED BY EMBER34, 1 CLAIMED BY SILVERMOON2 ; 1 CLAIMED BY PINECLAW] ⤕Angry Mama: This queen is upset that Thistlestar appointed her kits to apprentices before their time! She originally allowed it as clan leader's word is law, but she may reach a boiling point soon! Or possibly just be there for her kits emotionally after a long day of training. [CLAIMED BY SAND] ⤕ Forbidden Romance: Blue is thinking it would be fun to have a forbidden romance plot when Willowclan opens! If you want to be considered on either side of this plot, let me know! [CLAIMED BY JUNOSPOWER] ⤕ Young Love ((triangle!)): Pebblepaw and Patchpaw are both young toms. Blue thinks it would be fun to have a she-cat be interested in one of them and that one not be interested back, and the other brother actually be the one interested in the she-cat! [CLAIMED BY RAINY] ⤕Lazy mentor: A warrior who is lazy by nature takes on an apprentice. The apprentice must basically train themselves, causing distress, drama, or Thistlestar to disapprove of them! Will only open this to the apprentice once we have a willing warrior. [CLAIMED BY RAINY ; CLAIMED BY IVY <3] ⤕A Quest of Riches and Misfortune: Three young warriors are sent on a quest to retrieve their powerstones, under the assumption that each of them will gain a stone at the end of their Trial. However, after a long and harrowing journey, they find that there are only two powerstones available. Do they turn on each other, or does one return empty handed, and possibly forever miss their chance to gain a powerstone? Will there be a fight over who gets the stones... and will it be a fight to the death? [TENATIVELY CLAIMED] ⤕A Traitor Among Us: A cat gives information to the rival clan ((Suggested by Darkwillow, WIP)) ⤕Rogue Plot: A WIP plot including a group of rogues and the downfall of Thistlestar. Learn more on the OOC page, feel free to give suggestions. [CLOSED FOR NOW]

T E R R I T O R Y
The Ivy Forest:Ivyclan camp is deep in a forest of densely clustered oaks and ash trees called the Ivy Forest, as the forest has all but been overrun with tendrils of ivy, like something from a fairytale. This lush landscape of bark and leaf hides the scent of this large group of cats from the outside world. The trees overlap each others branches, causing the forest below to be shaded or dappled with light. To outsiders, one can get very lost very quickly in the Ivy Forest, as the trees are so similar and compacted that it is hard to tell which direction you've come from, but the cats of Ivyclan know every rock and root tendril by heart. The dense vegetation makes it difficult for air, earth, fire, or water elementals to be at full power here. Camp:
The cats of Ivyclan managed to find a centrally located clearing in the middle of the Ivy Forest that they call home. On the far end of camp is a rock face from which a small waterfall from a stream rolls down. The elders, medicine cat, and leader makes their homes in outcroppings on the cliff face. A large boulder called the Speaking Stone is where the leader calls meetings. The nursery is the furthest from this small stream, a large burrow that some earth elementals made. Next to the nursery is an old gnarled oak which the warriors claim as their home, both in the branches and in the gnarled roots below. The apprentice den is a clearing surrounded by bramble thorns on the other side of camp. The camp has a moss floor covering every part except the ground next to the stream, and though the trees cover most the sky, it has more light than other parts of the forest. Flower Fields:Due east of the Ivy Forest, as the ivy lessens and the trees thin, is the flower fields. This is a beautiful naturally growing prairie of wildflowers that bloom every newleaf and hold their color until leaf fall. Medicine cats often collect herbs in these fields, and mice run plenty. In leaf fall, before the foliage dies, cats often come here to collect flowers and sometimes berries to use in the Night of Dancing Colors. The Old Nest:
Sitting on the edge of the Flower Fields is an old twoleg nest, long, long abandoned. It still maintains structural integrity, besides missing windows and doors, and is two story. It is often used as a shelter to cats, prey, and sometimes predators as well during storms. Around the nest are fertile piles of soil that occasionally grow the odd twoleg plant.
The Rushing River:Past the twoleg nest and bordering the Flower Fields is the Rushing River. The river is wide enough to be difficult for a cat to cross, and any non water-elemental cat must cross at the bridge to avoid being sucked under the waves. The river fish are often too fast to catch for any non water-elemental cats. The Falls:The topmost part of the Rushing River, a small waterfall that is strong enough to be dangerous for any non water elemental cat. The Bridge:An old twoleg bridge that spans the top of the Rushing River. It is made of stone and is somewhat arched. When rain has been plentiful, the falls are over-full with water, spraying onto the bridge and causing it to be slippery. This can be dangerous.
The Marsh:South of the Ivy Forest, deposited from the Rushing River into a delta is the Marsh. This is a boggy, swampy area full of frogs, snakes, bugs, and lots and lots of mud. Could be dangerous for kits if they don't watch their steps. The Marsh spans a large portion of land, and therefore most all clan cats haven't travelled further south beyond it. The Rolling Hills:Another place of interest lies to the west and extends to the north of the Ivy Forest. The Rolling Hills are just that- open moorland, good for battle training, hunting, and racing. They are often a peaceful place for taking walks with a friend.
The Rolling Hills Pond:The Rolling Hills give way to a small pond with reeds around it. Some shimmering golden fish can be found in this pond, with the stray frog or two. Dead Forest: Considered a neutral territory, the dead forest lies past the northern Rolling Hills and spans for miles. It is said that a fire elemental loss control in what once was a beautiful pine forest, setting ablaze both his home and his loved ones. It is often used as a story to young kits on practicing self-control. The trees here are charred, the plant life is gone, and the ground still holds ash. Though it has been moons, the forest never seemed to regrow. Because it is devoid of prey and plant alike, the Dead Forest is a neutral territory that neither clan attempts to claim. Because of this, it is considered dangerous and apprentices are forbidden to enter it. Warriors, even, while not forbidden, are frowned upon for being there, as there is nothing good to be gained in those trees. It is said that those in the dead forest are either looking to meet up with a Willowclan cat, or are looking for trouble. If a cat is injured in the dead forest, unless they are medicine cats travelling to the ancient ruins, it is considered fair and not to be avenged. Killing is of course still against the warrior code.
The Ancient Ruins:
Deep within the Dead Forest, equidistant from both Ivyclan and Willowclan lay the Ancient Ruins. The Ancient Ruins is a destroyed marble building of many columns, like a decrepit Parthenon. Though it is likely twolegs built this building, the clan cats hold to the belief that this building was once the home of the Ancients, the cats who command Starclan itself. The building was then destroyed to ruins when the ancients left the moral realm and reclaimed their position among the stars. Because of this lore, cats feel very close to Starclan in this place. Medicine cats make a pilgrimage here on every half moon to speak with Starclan. There is a twoleg white marble pedestal in the middle of the ruins that the cats call the Pure Stone, and medicine cats press their noses to this stone to commune with Starclan. T R A D I T I O N S
Birth-Element: All cats in this realm, clanborn or not, are born with one of the four elemental powers- Earth, Fire, Water, or Air. The elements are bestowed by Starclan upon birth, regardless of the powers their parents or former family had. It's not unusual to have multiple powers in a litter, or a litter of all similar powers. Kits usually begin to show some rudimentary signs of which element they've been born with soon after their birth, at which time many mothers give the kits their names. When all the kits in the litter have shown what element they possess, the kit-mother is to report to the clan leader the information. That night, at sundown, the clan leader will pick each kit up by the scruff in turn and announce their power to the clan. The clan cats below that have a similar base elemental power then will chant that element. Example: Leader- "Bluekit, water elemental!" Water elemental cats, chanting- "Water! Water! Water!" Cats are almost always mentored by a cat with a similar elemental power to ensure they learn the full range of their abilities, but cats of all elements help in the training so apprentices can learn how to counteract other elemental powers.
Totem Bestowal: When a cat is apprenticed, they receive a totem. This totem is drawn up from a pool in the middle of camp by the medicine cat and given to the apprentice to wear around their neck with a dried ivy tendril. The totem is a carved wooden animal, representative of the cat's personality, and like many things, is chosen and crafted by Starclan. This necklace provides a conduit to further a kit's powers, and should be guarded and worn at all times. Totem-wearing cats have an advantage over non totem wearers, and therefore the totems are often targeted during battle. Totems are elemental proof and cannot be destroyed, but they can be lost. Further, totems only act as a conduit to the cat they are assigned to. Therefore, if a cat removes another's totem in battle, it weakens the other cat who lost it, but it does not make the cat who gained it more powerful. When a cat dies, it is tradition to bury their totem with them.
The Trial of the Warrior: Apprentices who are ready to receive their warrior names must undergo the Trial of the Warrior. In this trial, an apprentice is shadowed by their mentor and the clan leader or deputy as they prove their skills. The trial is multi-part. First, an apprentice must first catch an assigned number of prey (anywhere from 1 to 3 depending on season). Then, they undergo a dexterity trial- usually climbing, racing, or leaping. Finally, they must fight a warrior from each element in succession. Warriors are not to use any other abilities besides their elemental powers in this battle. Should an apprentice prove satisfactory in all of these categories by both the mentor and leader/deputy's standards, they are then able to receive their warrior name.
Nestmaking: Cats of Ivyclan tend to sleep in nests depending on their birth element. Fire and earth cats often have bracken mixed with stone, water and air cats tend to have moss and bracken nests. Whatever nest you have cats will often personalize their nests with various objects that either hold significance or beauty to them. Examples can include a cat adding flowers to their nest for visual appeal, stones to their nest that a mate gave them, or feathers to their nest for comfort. When bored, some cats go looking for items that appeal to them that they can add to their nests. Cats take their items with them when they change dens. Many times mates will converge their nests into a large singular nests filled with mementos special to them.
Day of Competition: While apprentices busy themselves to prepare for their trial, warriors gather on the days surrounding the second full moon of Greenleaf to engage in the day of competition. These are friendly competitions of hunting, dexterity, fighting, or any other competition the cats desire to engage in. Safety must always be taken into account though, of course. Seriously injuring another cat on this day is not allowed. Victors of the chosen competition are given a piece of fresh kill by their losing competitor.
The Day of Dancing Colors: On the second full moon of Leaffall, cats gather in camp to engage in the day of dancing colors. On the days leading up to this day, cats gather blackberries, raspberries, and flower petals of multiple colors before they die due to cold, and mash them up to create dyes. The cats then smear the dyes on their fur, and participate in a day of feasting, dancing, creating beauty through their elemental powers, and storytelling. It is a jovial celebration well loved by many clan cats.
Appointing of Ranks: Medicine cat apprentices are much like canon. They are appointed by Starclan and receive their full name when their mentor believes it is time. The apprentice who has been in training longest becomes the lead medicine cat when the lead medicine cat passes. Deputies are chosen by a casting of stones. Cats who want to be considered for deputy make their name known to the leader, and the leader is to present all desiring cats to the clan before a day has passed following the previous deputies death. The clan medicine cat digs shallow holes that correspond to the number of nominees and label each hole with a symbol of the cat it represents. Each warrior, elder, current deputy, or leader then lays a pebble down in the hole of the cat they wish to win the title of deputy. They each take turns so that the medicine cat is the only one who sees the votes. Then, the medicine cat tallies the votes and announces the new deputy. Should a leader lose all nine lives, leadership is given to the cat who has been deputy longest.
Quests: Occasionally, Starclan will be guided by the Divine Ancestors towards the location of a PowerStone. When this happens, they will communicate to the Medicine Cat the information they know and which cat they believe should lead the quest, often in the form of a prophecy. This cat then is assigned two fellow questmates to go with them by the leader, but the leader's choice is often influenced by the chosen cat's preferences. Quests can take days to moons to accomplish, but are usually rewarded with a PowerStone to the chosen cat, and honor to the cats who accompany him or her.
Death Rites: Cats of Ivyclan mourn their dead much like canon warrior cats. They hold a vigil the night of, usually touching noses to the deceased's body, mourning in silence. The cat is then buried the next morning with their totem. Earth elementals often will grow flowers across the grave.
G U I D E T O E L E M E N T A L P O W E R S This is a quick reference guide to powers you cat can have with their Birth Element. These rules only exist to keep from any fight being imbalanced due to overpowering a particular roleplayer, but if everyone attempts to roleplay realistically and fairly, then you can use this more as a loose outline of what capabilities your cat has. Each individual cat may be slightly stronger or weaker in their powers depending on how often they train and what their real world experiences are. The ages listed are for cats undergoing traditional warrior training, but rogues, cats held back from training, or cats who are lazier may not achieve these abilities just because they are the age listed. Likewise, apprentices can be in the process of 'learning' the skills listed for young warriors and may be able to produce some of those powers shakily. And furthermore, your apprentice who just became a warrior doesn't 'magically' gain these new powers- all powers need to be practiced and should scale to your own cat's age and ability. They won't have it down the first time they use it! Just remember, not everyone's cat is amazingly super special and OP. Play fair, and it'll make for a much more fun RP. That being said, feel free to play around with different moves and create your own not in this list, and I might just add it to the list for others to see as well! But if you're worried a particular move will sway the battle too far in your favor, run it by me or your fellow RPer first. In most battles, the cat with more experience will win no matter the moves used, just like in the real warriors cat world, unless they're otherwise augmented with PowerStones. Any fighting move a cat makes with its powers will drain their stamina. The more powerful the move, the more tired they will become. So don't expect to be able to spam the most powerful moves just because you have a senior warrior! Usually, a cat will only be able to use a large move like that once a battle, if at all. Smaller moves such as those learned as an apprentice can be used several times in a single battle. Use your common sense! And remember, a cat focuses their powers through their totem, so if that should be removed (which is difficult, but can happen), your cat will be weakened. Be sure to run that by your fellow RPer as well. More than anything, when in doubt, ask!
Unique situations that increase your cat's particular ability:
-Water elementals can pull water out of a stream at a certain age, but can also 'materialize' water when there is no obvious source of water by using water in the air. However, pulling water from nearby sources or from the air when raining will take less effort, and therefore will make the move stronger. IE: Water elementals will naturally be stronger when close to bodies of water, mud, or when it is raining. Water elementals will be weakened when the land is experiencing a drought, in forests that have previously been burned, or when surrounded by rocks such as mountains.
-Air elementals are often the most balanced- while slightly trickier to have an advantage, they also rarely have disadvantages. Air elementals will tend to be stronger when up higher, such as in a mountain, and will be weaker in places where the air is limited, such as in an underground cave. They also thrive on days that are windy, or on dry days with low humidity. They tend to be slightly stronger on open moorlands than they are in dense forests.
-Fire elementals tend to be the strongest when it comes to brute strength, but have many disadvantages. They tend to be in full power when the sun is able to blaze the strongest, such as in Greenleaf and parts of Newleaf. Overcast days, however, can weaken them slightly, as can being close to a body of water, boglands, etc that causes an increase in humidity in the air. They get quick surges of strength when lightning strikes, but that is quickly dampened afterward by the surrounding rain, making storm battles difficult. They thrive in places where kindling is plenty, such as hay fields, burnt trees, and drought conditions.
-Earth elementals are highly defensive, and thrive in areas with malleable soil. They tend to struggle more when the ground is wet such as mud or when there is heavy rain, and inexperienced warriors are unable to work with stone and rock. However, older earth warriors are able to manipulate chunks of stones from mountains, caves, and rocky ground. Their power is often the most consistent, as the land of Ivyclan is in high supply of malleable soil and stone. ---
Read below to find general examples of the types of powers your cat can display at different ages. Cats who train more may be able to produce stronger powers, but your cat should not be able to 'skip' to another age range of powers without permission. Feel free however to come up with powers that seem equal to your cat's skill level.
Final special consideration: If you have a character who is a rogue or medicine cat, it is highly unlikely that your character will be masters of their powers, regardless of age. These cats do not train as much as a standard warrior going through clan training. Any rogue, unless they battle frequently, will not be as strong as a warrior who is their peer. Most all medicine cats will be around an apprentices level of power, regardless of their actual age.

Can breathe out large plumes of fire. Air: Can run faster and dodge better than other elementals. Can slice with blades of air current. Can 'ride' on blasts of air to skim through the air, low and close to the earth. Earth: Can produce blasts of stone. Can create small walls of stone for protection. Can produce small earthquakes and small seismic cracks in ground. Senior Warrior Powers: [50-100 Moons]Water: Cause torrential downpours of rain. Cause decent amount of hail or snow. Conjure painful blasts of ice. Conjure painful blasts of water. Produce large tidal waves when near a source of water. Breathe indefinitely underwater. Fire: Cause occasional strikes of lightning. Can create small pockets of lava. Air: Cause gusts of very damaging and near tornado-like wind. Can temporarily remove air from an area in an attempt to suffocate. Can deoxygenate some sources of small fires. Earth: Cause significant earth quakes or seismic cracks. Can create tunnels to burrow under enemies quickly. Can manipulate surrounding mountains to cause avalanches. Elder Powers: [100+ Moons]Older cats who have spent their lives training have usually mastered all of these previous powers, but as they age and weaken, so do their powers. Their totems slowly lose their ability to channel what they have learned, and they no longer have the stamina to call upon the powers like they once did. You can assume that the older your cat gets, the 'younger' his skill ability. For example, a cat who just joined the elders den may still be found fighting using many strong moves he learned as a senior warrior. But a cat of 100 Moons would have reverted to only having enough strength to use the moves listed in the 'kit' section, as they have grown to old to wield such power.

Totems:When an kit becomes an apprentice, they receive a totem representative of their personality or destiny, and wear it around their neck as a conduit to their elemental powers. Read more in the 'traditions' segment above. Below is a list of possible totems, and a general idea of the personalities and destinies linked to them. Your cat may possess all of the qualities listed, or only one of them. Occasionally, a cat will feel like their totem does not represent them at all, but Starclan's will is final, and their totem is bonded to them and them alone for life. It is possible that the totem is representative of who the cat is becoming rather than who the cat currently is. It is better to create your own unique cat first and then choose a totem from the list you think best suits them rather than vice versa. List is subject to change.Ant- Teamwork, diligence | Badger - Aggression, passion | Bat - Solitary, quiet | Bear - Protector, strength | Beaver - Provider, loyalty | Beetle - Solitude, protector | Bird - Carefree, lighthearted | Butterfly - Evolution, free spirit | Coyote - Trickster, resourceful | Crane - Thoughtful, independence | Doe - Empathetic, gentleness | Dove - Laughter, innocence | Eagle - Courage, freedom | Fox - Cunning, independent | Lizard - Trickster, laughter | Mole - Grounded, provider | Moose - Perfectionist, scrutiny | Mountain Lion - Confident, Powerful | Mouse - Humility, resourceful | Owl - Protector, watchful | Rabbit - Watchful, persevering | Raccoon - Curious, trickster | Raven - Mischievous, Intelligent | Salmon - Instinctive, loyal | Snake - Ambitious, instinctive | Spider - Cunning, Watchful | Stag - Powerful, loyal | Swan - Grace, peacemaker | Turtle - Patience, protection |

Powerstones:Powerstones are rare rocks that are almost always located only after a quest from Starclan. You can read more on the history of powerstones here, or read more about them above under the heading of 'Traditions' and 'Quests'. A quest can be anything from a long journey to a harrowing battle, but cats typically don't know what they're in for until the quest is at its end. In short, PowerStones augment a cat's existing elemental ability with a brand new ability that is most likely unique to perhaps only one or two more cats. Due to the perilous nature of PowerStones, only warriors are allowed on quests, and because these stones are revealed by the Ancients, even Starclan doesn't know whether a cat will truly make it to the stone, or what all dangers lie in wait on their journey. When a cat finds a PowerStone and touches their totem to it, the stone binds to the back of the totem where it lays against their chest, and the cat gains the power. This makes it extremely hard to steal or remove a powerstone from a cat. (Do not ever remove another roleplayer's cat's powerstone without their permission). Should a rogue cat or a totemless cat obtain a stone, they usually find their own way to bind it to their body as well. Unlike totems, when a cat dies, the powerstone is free to take, but loses half its power and is known as a broken stone. When the owner of a broken stone dies, the powerstone is destroyed. Cats can have several powerstones at once, though it is exceedingly rare. Killing another cat in battle to steal their stone is extremely dishonorable and may even result in exile depending on the leader of the clan, but it is not unheard of. Should a cat die in battle, the honorable thing to do is to let the clan collect the cat and broken stone so it can be passed to their next of kin. If the next of kin is not a warrior yet, the leader of the clan will keep the stone safe by wearing it until they are. Below are a list of rumored or known powerstones, their locations if known, and which cats have them or are questing towards them, if any. These powerstones are to be gained through RP or given to cats of senior roleplay members when I deem fit. C O D E A N D R U L E S Ivyclan's Warrior Code: ⤕ Defend your clan, even with your life. You may create friendships with those outside the clan, but your loyalty must remain to your clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. ⤕ Do not hunt or trespass on another clan's territory. ⤕ Elders, Queens and their kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. ⤕ Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to Starclan for it's life. ⤕ A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. ⤕ Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. ⤕ A cat cannot be named deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. ⤕ When the deputy steps down or dies, the clan will cast stones for the cat they wish to become deputy. The cat with the most stones cast in their name will be appointed the new deputy. Deputies must be appointed before a full day has passed. ⤕ When a leader steps down or dies, the deputy with the most experience takes the place of leader and must journey to receive their nine lives. A new second deputy must be chosen before a full day has passed. ⤕ A gathering of all the clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among clans during this time. ⤕ No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from another clan. ⤕ The word of the clan Leader is the warrior code. ⤕ An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless it is necessary for self-defense. ⤕ A warrior rejects the lawless and selfish life of a rogue or loner. ⤕ Warriors are to respect nature, and never use their elemental powers to intentionally destroy the land around them. ⤕ A Medicine Cat may not have kits. ⤕ All medicine cat apprentices are chosen by Starclan through dreams given to the current medicine cat. ⤕ The most senior medicine cat apprentice will take the role of lead medicine cat when the current medicine cat dies or retires. ⤕ Warriors shun all exiled cats. Warriors are not to talk to, help, or meet with any cat who has been exiled from Ivyclan.
OOC Rules: ⤕ All RPers are welcome- any personal background, warriors knowledge, 'literacy', etc.
⤕ Please do your best to roleplay according to Ivyclan's unique abilities, traditions, and territory! I understand it is a lot to read, but please reference back to this front page when you're battling or exploring so that we can have a cohesive story and world! It's not very fun to be roleplaying in the mountains and someone keeps referencing dense forests, or to be fighting within the skills provided and someone keeps godmodding. If we are having a festival, read about it and join in! If we are talking about the clan history, read about it so your cat can sound accurate! I absolutely don't mind helping where it is needed, I just want to know you're trying. c:
⤕ Keep the content rating the same as the warrior cat books- some depictions of blood allowed, but no mating scenes, cursing, queens under 12 moons, uncomfortable age differences in mates, mentor/apprentice relationships, or anything else that wouldn't align with a children's fantasy book.
⤕ Please attempt to be as active as you can realistically be in Ivyclan! I 100% understand that life happens, and will often be gone myself for work or vacations. I just would appreciate a heads up anytime you're planning on being gone for longer than a week so that characters don't become stuck. Should you be completely inactive for two months without prior warning, your character will be moved into the 'inactive' section on the information page. Any apprentice your cat is mentoring will be reassigned, and any mentor your apprentice is learning from will be reassigned. If you hold a high ranking position, those positions will become available for another RPer. If your cat was on a quest with others, the others will return (And unfortunately have to RP as though your cat died or that the journey never even happened. ) You are ALWAYS welcome to return, and should you prove to be active again, you will be more than welcome to request again a high ranking position, apprentice, plot, etc. but there are no guarantees you will be granted it right away. This is not to be mean! It is only to ensure the roleplay doesn't get stuck due to inactivity.
⤕ That being said... our timeline is constantly moving, but due to the nature of roleplaying, has no real set consistency. I will strive to age all cats by a moon every real life month or so, but will announce before I do it. This is to ensure that warriors can age into senior warriors and even elders and we can have a realistic passage of time. For warriors, aging by a moon will likely not effect much. But if you feel like your kit or apprentice is aging too fast and you want more time to roleplay them in these stages of life, I do not mind keeping their age consistent for a while longer as long as any other roleplayers involved (mother of the kit, littermates, mentor) are okay with it! Keep in mind that other cats will continue to age unless specified, so if you have a love interest for your cat, that may skew the age difference between them!
⤕ Characters! We need diversity! We have a 'statistics' chart listed in a box below tracking the number of toms to mollies, apprentices to warriors, and the number of cats with each elemental power. It's important that we have balance in this roleplay, so if there are more than five cats outnumbering a certain category, I will temporarily close that category to new characters. For example, if we have 20 she-cats and 14 toms, I will temporarily close the ability to create new she-cats. Or if we have 8 fire elementals, 2 earth, 3 air, and 3 water, I will temporarily close the ability to create more fire elemental cats. Likewise, if we have 10 apprentices and only 4 warriors, I will close the ability to create new apprentices. Should a member become inactive, a cat die or the rankings restabilize, I will reopen that ranks. I reserve all rights to close or open rankings. Further, please review the allegiances and create a cat name whose prefix AND suffix is not currently in use by any living cats in Ivyclan.
⤕ Characters, cont! Please try to integrate your character into the world! When you make your character, ask if your cat can be a sibling, parent, child, uncle, etc to a current clan cat! It makes the roleplaying soooo much more intriguing and fun! Look in the clan family tree for [OPEN] markers to see if there is any cat specifically who is needing a family member created! Also, no kits without mothers. And let me know if you have a preferred warrior name, mentor, plot idea, or anything else!
⤕ New roleplayers are limited to no more than 5 cats when joining the RP. This is to ensure that you put effort into making each character and that your cats have the opportunity to grow and change as the plot progresses. However, should your character die, you are welcome to make a cat to replace him or her. Please be aware that your character should die eventually at some point in the roleplay, whether through natural causes or battle, that's what makes the stakes high and the roleplay fun!
⤕ Your character also should not be overpowered, have any markings, colors, or other traits that are unusual to a common feline. Once more, roleplay realistically! Give your character flaws! Make your characters interesting, but also make them ~normal~ . No one is right all the time. No one wins every battle. So your cat won't either! And I promise it makes things more interesting!
⤕ You can consider Ivyclan to be... post apocalyptic, basically. There are twoleg remains littered across this land, but literally the cats should never encounter or even mention a twoleg... ever, please. Unless I change my mind in the future, I don't want twolegs. I would hate for our band of elemental cats to overrun a poor unsuspecting human lol. That means I don't want any kittypets either! Rogues and loners are fine.
⤕ You may not at any point kill or force another roleplayer's cat to do anything without permission from that roleplayer.
⤕ Members listed as 'very active' are members who are online roleplaying at least two different days in one week unless previously stated. These members are the ones who will be considered for the higher ranking positions such as deputy, leader, and medicine cat. Their characters are also more likely to be given quests. Strive to be one of them! Should you miss a week, you will be changed to 'active' status. Very active status can be achieved again easily however with two posts on different days the next week.
⤕ For the sake of a unique roleplaying experience, no member may play more than one high ranking position at a time (example, you may not play both the leader and the medicine cat apprentice, or both deputies, etc.) This rule can be bent by me [blue] to fill needed positions for a time, such as the start of this RP, with the expectation that one of the roleplayers high ranking cats either dies or retires to give the position to another 'very active' member. Remember, should you be completely inactive from the roleplay for a month without prior warning, you forfeit your cat's high ranking position and are moved to the inactive list.
⤕ More characters! If you'd like more than five cats, you may be interested in becoming a Very Active Senior Member! Members listed as Very Active Senior Members are members who post at least two different days per week unless they had a previously stated expected absence, and who have been roleplaying with us for at least two months with a maintained consistency of this level without any missed weeks. At this point, you are allowed up to 10 characters, and will be considered one of my BFFs.
⤕ Be kind! Be compassionate! Don't forget that you are important and worthy of love <3 ! And be sure to try to make a positive impact on the real world when you're out and about. c:

L E A D E R
Thistlestar - Earth - Badger - 62 Moons - Bluewonder Powerstone: Vertigo [broken stone] ; Cold Manipulation 7 Remaining Lives
Muscular gray and black tabby she-cat with forest green eyes. Her underbelly is a rusty brown color, as are her paws. Thistlestar is known for being the most aggressive leader Ivyclan has had in moons. She believes that there is honor is strength and power, and refuses to accept anything but the best in her warriors. Those who are not strong in both body and mind are considered to not be trying and lose her respect. She believes that she has been given her role as leader to guide Ivyclan into an era of strength and power. Thistlestar is proud, confident, and fiercely independent, choosing to hold few if any confidants, and having no interest in taking mates. Link to Image D E P U T Y
Ashberry - Water - Owl - 65 Moons - Berrybushsys He/Them pronouns. An ordinary short-furred gray tabby with beaming blue eyes. Ashberry is a very protective feline, and very insistent on keeping an eye, watching, and protecting. Very much due to his past. Ashberry was born like any other kit, to his mother alongside three other kittens. His kithood was simple and normal. When Ashberry was just an apprentice, something had come up. A flood flooded the camp, sweeping his parents, and one of his siblings away. It greatly terrified him, scaring him into no longer using his powers as to not make that mistake. He grew up quiet, and very isolated, only training when he felt like training. He didn't push himself, and only hid, he also completely refused to learn to use his powers and hadn't bothered swimming. He continued on that way, until the leader revealed he would not be allowed to become a warrior unless he trained. He trained, and finally, at the age of 18 moons became a warrior. Ashberry finally became a warrior. He was not very proud with the long delay, knowing it was his fault. He overworked himself during his warriorhood, pushing himself to do better than he did as an apprentice. He forgot to eat, and forgot to take very much needed breaks. It didn't take long for him to finally prove himself to become a deputy.
Shatterfrost - Water - Turtle - 52 Moons - Darkwillow A soft-furred siamese tom with ice-blue eyes. A level-headed cat, Shatterfrost is good at making rational and logical decisions. He is a thinker, and holds patience in his heart, though can be cold on his bad days. He is protective of his clan and will fight for it no matter the cost. Bisexual. Link to Image M E D I C I N E - C A T
Cedarstorm - Earth - Raven - 48 Moons - Sand Cedarstorm is an umber brown tabby tom with a white chest and paws. He has copper eyes. Cedarstorm is an insightful, shrewd tom. His duties require him to be sharp and prepared for anything serious. He isn’t the type of cat one might try to cross. He is somewhat skeptical, albeit a follower of StarClan. He is very cautious with his clanmates and can be uncivil. He is sly like a fox due to his cunning and wily nature. Cedarstorm refuses to be pushed around by others. When in his den, he’s the cat in charge. He’s clan born and would be a terrible sibling. He’d be likely to agree with most of what Thistlestar does as a leader. Asexual aromantic or demi romantic. Link to Image M E D I C I N E - C A T - A P P R E N T I C E
Hollyfeather - Air - Doe - 38 Moons - Darkwillow A pretty white and gray she-cat with soothing green eyes. A gentle and caring she-cat, Hollyfeather is a good choice for a medicine cat. She is observant, and never has patients leave without being checked over numerous times. She despises fighting, and hates to see her clanmates hurt, but knows she is able to help them. Hollyfeather used to be a rogue, but found herself stumbling upon Ivyclan territory, and discovered by a patrol. They took her to their camp, and- with a lot of convincing- was accepted into the clan, soon becoming a medicine cat apprentice, and later receiving her full name. Aro/ace. Link to Image
Tinypaw - Air - Bat - 4 Moons - Silvermoon2 Very small tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes. Tinypaw is a quiet and shy she-cat, she would rather spend time by herself than with other cats and values the time she gets alone, she does love her family though, and enjoys spending time with her siblings. She is also very observant, able to notice even small details of things, her mother had a hard time hiding things from her when she was a kit. Tinypaw was made a warrior apprentice early with her siblings, but soon after had a vision from StarClan that she was meant to take the path of a medicine cat. At first Tinypaw was nervous to share it, worried that no one would believe her, but eventually she told the medicine cats, who persuaded Thistlestar to make her a medicine cat apprentice.

S E N I O R - W A R R I O R S Pineheart - Earth - Stag - 75 Moons - Rainy Powerstone: Steel Claws Pineheart is a tall and lean, white tom with brown tabby patches, and fierce amber eyes. He is known to be a quiet, humble, and pensive feline. Pineheart has always been stoic and means well, but has trouble connecting with his clanmates, and being vulnerable with family and friends. He enjoys the more peaceful days, and has an affinity for water despite being an earth elemental cat. Pineheart was the first born to a fairly large-sized litter. He lost his mom, and some siblings, due to a bout of greencough. Over time he grew close to his father, Emberthroat, and was dedicated in his training to make him, and the rest of his siblings, proud. Unfortunately, Pineheart's father died soon after his and his sibling's warrior ceremony during a border skirmish. The death hit him hard, but he tried to swallow his grief in order to be there for his remaining family. From then on, Pineheart has tried to work his hardest and is always there for his families needs while pushing his own aside in the process.

Waspfang - Earth - Spider - 62 Moons - Bluewonder Powerstone: Increased Smell Waspfang is a large silver tabby tom, with hazel eyes and a much lighter fur pattern than his sister. Waspfang has an abrasive, mean personality. He gets personal satisfaction from putting others down and putting on shows of power. No cat can deny that he is a powerful and loyal warrior, however, and that, couple with his seniority, has made him difficult to admonish. Waspfang’s personality only cools in front of his sister, Thistlestar, who he seems to reluctantly submit to. Link to Image

Oriolehop - Water - Bear - 60 Moons - Sand Oriolehop is a fluffy ginger and white tabby tom with pale yellow green eyes. Oriolehop is observant yet cautious. He prefers to keep an eye on what is most important to him. For Oriolehop, his family is what comes first. He feels the need to protect and care for his kits as Blacksong is no longer around. He is also courteous and affable. He is easy to approach due to his friendliness. He’s respectful of his clanmates unless there is animosity between them. However, Oriolehop can be very overprotective. He tends to coddle his kits, even though they’re warriors now. He is clan born. Oriolehop strived as an apprentice for he was always a focused learner. He enjoyed exploring his elemental powers, but he had some patience for it. As a young warrior, his focus went elsewhere. He had interest in Blacksong, another warrior. They had a litter of kits together, but Blacksong didn’t make it. Her death greatly upset him and left him to be a shell of himself for many moons. His support system pushed him forward to care for his kits. He still misses Blacksong and thinks of her often. Bisexual biromantic. Link to Image

Mothdapple - Earth - Butterfly - 57 Moons - Dark A golden maine coon with a fluffy tail and yellow eyes. A friendly enough tom, Mothdapple respects his clanmates highly. He makes his own path, and only follows others' if absolutely necessary. He is determined to be the best he can be for himself and his clan, and is afraid of disappointing his clanmates, which can lead him to overworking himself. Straight. Link to Image

Owlfoot - Water - Mountain Lion - 51 Moons - Silvermoon2 Powerstone: Invisibility Light-brown tabby tom with blue eyes. Owlfoot is a serious tom, he is very serious about his warrior duties and always makes sure to perform every task he does well. He tries to keep the younger cats in line and can get very annoyed when he sees a young cat goofing around and wasting time. He is very confident and self assured from his moons of experience.

Open! W A R R I O R S Amberrose - Fire - Fox - 43 Moons - Ember34 Amberrose is a willowy fawn tabby and white she-cat with a plumed tail and bright orange eyes. Amberrose is a short tempered she cat. Often fiery and quick to act, sometimes without even knowing a situation which leads her to trouble sometimes. She is prone to neglecting her health which leads her to worse conditions, but the she cat never seems to learn from them. Straight.

Foxskip - Fire - Butterfly - 38 Moons - Sand Foxskip is a lithe calico tabby she-cat with olive green eyes and a short tail. She is an energetic, lively feline. Foxskip enjoys interacting with her clanmates especially when she gets the chance to speak. She is also very outspoken and straightforward. Foxskip is very direct with her feelings and thoughts which she won't hold back. However, she is oblivious to the strength her words may hold. Brambletalon - Earth - Doe - 36 Moons - Brambletalon713 Brambletalon is tom with sapphire blue eyes and earth toned fur. His back and ears are a dark brown while his paws, chest, belly, muzzle, and tail tip are that of a crème colour. The length of his fur is more on the medium side of things making him sleeker despite also have some puffiness, specifically with his chest fur and bushy tail. His nose and paw pads are black. Brambletalon has always acted as a father figure when it comes to friends and family. He deeply cares for those that are close to him and will protect them with his life. The empathy and caring he also has for others, even complete strangers, is what led him to receive the Doe totem. Originally, he believed he would end up with something like the Bear totem for his protectiveness and strength, but after growing up he came to understand why the Doe outweighed his original hopes for the Bear. Despite his friendliness to strangers though he still has a hard time with trusting them after a horrific incident he had in his past. He also loves to spend his time outside of camp just to simply be with and admire the nature around him. His favorite side activity is typically stargazing and loves doing it when there's a cool breeze to blow through his fur. The only other things that stands out with him is that despite being more on a relaxed and caring attitude, he still loves to go out and have fun whether it being playing or sparring with other clan mates. Despite all of this, there is a depressed dark side that sometimes clouds Brambletalon's judgment even though he does a good job trying to hide it. Much loss from his past constantly ways down on him and he's always having to question whether or no he's doing enough to help out or make things right.
Brambletalon was born in a small litter of two with his brother Stonepaw. Both of which were born with the power of earth. Stonepaw's power had become obvious by the first couple moons of being born, but Brambletalon's didn't show up till after becoming an apprentice. His father Brakenfur was worried for the longest time that Brambletalon was some kind of curse brought upon the clan and considered him a disgrace while his mother tried to comfort him during this time not caring whether or not he actually had any powers. All that mattered to her was that her son was happy and healthy. (If you don't like this idea by the time you’re done reading it let me know. It's not gonna bother me in the slightest. It just sounded interesting when coming up with his backstory.) As kits, Brambletalon and Stonepaw often got into trouble together as kits normally do, but both of them matured rather quickly when the time of their apprenticeship came close. Brambletalon felt disappointed and jealous at first when he received the Doe totem while his brother ended up with the Bear. It wasn't till Brambletalon got closer to becoming a Warrior that he finally understood why he received the totem he did. As for their mentor, they were both placed under the tutorship of their father. This quickly caused issues however as their father Brakenfur spent most of his attention and time training Stonepaw his neglecting his currently powerless other son. Brambletalon hit a dark spot in his life at this time, but began to perk up after Stonepaw offered to help practice training with him while their father wasn't around. Rather quickly Brambletalon began to get his footing and discover what he needed to do without the use of the elements. A few moons into training however this no longer mattered as Brambletalon's time had finally arrived. Just not how he quite expected it though. As the two brothers reached ten moons old, their father took them out for a routine patrol probably a little farther from the camp then they should have. Upon which they stumbled across a small band of Rouges led by a cat named Onyx. Brakenfur tried to get the cats to leave peacefully, but the situation escalated rather quickly as Onyx and his group were simply out for blood against their disdain of clan cats. Brakenfur yelled at his sons to run back to camp and grab others for help while he held the rogues off. Brambletalon and Stonepaw froze for a moment terrified, but quickly agreed and sprinted off running as fast as they could. Their hearts beat frantically as they heard the loud yowl of cats and earth being hurled around behind them. When they about hit the halfway point back to camp Brambletalon had to come to a halt as he tackled and pinned to the ground. The pitch-black cat they met had left their father to his other cats while he chased after them instead. Onyx raised a paw with claws open and hissed out his disdain for clan cats before he was immediately hurled off of him by some stone and earth. While picking himself up, Onyx got into a rather quick skirmish with his brother Stonefur until he was eventually pinned to the ground. Onyx was on top of Stonepaw with a terrifying grin and gleaming yellow eyes. Brambletalon froze in place terrified and feeling powerless as he watched Onyx rake his claws across his brother with a fatal blow. As Onyx stepped off of his brother Brambletalon let out a screaming yowl and plunged his claws into the earth. Feeling a connection and sense of power he immediately followed his instincts and began hurling the earth and stones around him at Onyx pelting him till he was on the ground and barely moving. Brambletalon then stepped up towards the black cat and raised a large rock from the earth holding it over the black cat's head. For a brief moment which felt like hours, Brambletalon contemplated dropping the rock on Onyx until the black cat glanced up with fear in his eyes. A moan from his brother broke the trance he was in and after a quick glance to see his brother's flank slowly rising and falling, he glared back at Onyx. "I don't want to you or your cats around her ever again. Next time I won't be as empathetic." He growled tossing the rock aside. Onyx gulped before heaving himself up and running off, after which Brambletalon immediately turned to his brother. Stonepaw let out a weakened "I'm proud of you." before he then fell still. Brambletalon yowled out in distress and laid there with his brother for what felt like days until he finally worked up the willpower to carry Stonepaw back to camp. When he got back to camp and the clan had their night to mourn, Brambletalon kept fairly quiet and reserved up until becoming a Warrior. His powers never felt as strong again as they did that frightful day and sadly his father was never seen again, nor a body found. As a warrior, Brambletalon ended up taking on an apprentice of his own, Swiftclaw. A loner kit that had snuck into the camp trying to steal food. Despite having a somewhat bitter view to outsiders after the incident, Brambletalon kept calm and showed respect and empathy towards the kit, raising him up until the point Swiftclaw finally became a warrior. During his time training his adopted son, Brambletalon also fell in love with a cat named Fallenheart whom bore a single kit now known as Icepaw. Their love didn't last long however as Fallenheart passed away from complications during birth. On top of that his mother also passed away from greencough a few moons later. By the time all the death around him had come and gone, Brambletalon contemplated over what his father said to him as a kit. Maybe it wasn't the clan that was cursed, maybe it was just him

He prefers to observe them but doesn't mind interacting with them either, especially if they're troubled. While he is supportive of them he mostly leaves it at encouraging them, he's not someone who would confront his leader even though he disagrees with her. He'd rather build up other cats' confidence so they can stand up for themselves as he himself is too much of a follower. Darkwhisper can be a bit of a dreamer and a mystic sometimes and he loves to give meaning to even the most mundane things. Clan born. Dayshine likes to keep himself at a distance from others, only entering situations or relationships if they seem to benefit him. He can also be quite lazy, often pushing his responsibilities onto others whenever he gets the chance. He's clan born but was never very close to his parents, who broke up as mates when he was a kit.

Easy-going and a good listener. Shadecreek is dedicated to his clan will put the needs of others before his own. As much as he would rather have peace between the two clans, he will fight if he must. Pouncestone - Air - Owl - 19 Moons - Ember34 Pouncestone is an average-sized lykoi tom with soft fur and pale golden eyes. Pouncestone is a kindhearted tom, often trying to help others. He is quick to defend other cats that are in danger and help them get to safety. Pouncestone works hard to provide for his clan, but he often can be seen with his head in the clouds. He is a loyal cat to his friends, and is eager to always meet new cats. Born in the clan. Pouncestone had originally had an interest in becoming a medicine cat, spending time constantly in the den learning about herbs, but his parents had fought for him to become a warrior instead. Due to his mutation he was different to his littermates, and with it caused his parents to neglect him, with them not even hiding their favoritism for the other kits. Pouncestone was miserable in his apprentice training, never trying as hard as he should have and thus making his training go on longer due to the tom refusing to learn. He's now a warrior, and is still fairly upset over his forced placement. Ace.

Swiftclaw - Air - Fox - 18 Moons - Brambletalon713 Swiftclaw is a black tom with a chin, chest, tail tip, and paws. He has emerald green eyes with black nose and pink paw pads His fur is on the shorter side giving him a much sleeker look to his form. Swiftclaw is on the smaller side of being a cat and rather nimble when moving as well. Because of this, Swiftclaw may be able to hold his own in a fight, but if he gets hit then that might be the end of it. Swiftclaw is a friendly and cheerful cat that likes to joke around sometimes even in stressful situations. He can be very sneaky, patient, and quiet however which makes him a great hunter. Fighting on the other hand is something he's still trying to get his proper handle on. Because he prefers to get paws on with combat, being born with the element of air has helped him out in many ways. With his swiftness and agility backed by the current helps him to keep up in a fight with bigger cats than him and then he can zip away to take a breath if needed. He's always considered himself a rather independent cat hence why he ended up in Ivyclan to begin with. Typically, when not helping the clan, Swiftclaw enjoys spending his time running and climbing trees feeling the wind blow across his fur. When it comes to playing, Swiftclaw also loves nothing more than to race with his clan mates to find out who’s fastest.
Swiftclaw doesn’t really remember what happened to his parents. All he knows is that he was left to fend for himself at a very young age. One day in search of food, he found himself trying to unknowingly steal from Ivyclan. In the process he was captured by Brambletalon whom decided to adopt him into the clan after discovering Swiftclaw was all on his own. Swiftclaw was excited after he joined the clan life and even though it was difficult, eventually managed to hone his powers with air better. Upon induction into the clan and named an apprentice, he was gifted with the Fox totem which Brambletalon responded by telling him he wasn’t surprised. After moons of hard training Swiftclaw finally became a warrior and few moons after that he discovered he was going to have a sister. At first, he was greatly excited, but it quickly turned to devastation after his mother Fallenheart passed away during birth. After that night, Swiftclaw for the most part never left his sister’s side.

Icepaw - Water - Doe - 10 Moons - Brambletalon713 Icepaw is has white fur, crystal blue eye, and a sleek build. Her nose and paw pads are pink. Icepaw was originally very shy growing up, but eventually changed completely around by the time she was an apprentice. Her shyness mostly had to do with that fact that in a small way she felt responsible for her mother’s death during birth. Due to her connection with the element of water she loves to spend time her time playing around the streams and river when not helping the clan. Despite the lack of an open position Icepaw found herself willing to help the Medicine Cat and Medicine Cat Apprentices if they ever needed an extra paw in times of need and found love in helping out her other fellow clan mates as well. At this point, Icepaw is happy and healthy when the other cats are happy and healthy. Growing up, Icepaw was mostly shy and didn’t do much with cats other than her brother Swiftclaw. Most of this lie down to the fact that a part of her felt responsible for her mother’s death at birth. When the time came for her to receive her totem, she ended up with the doe. Due to her shyness, she had a hard time understanding this at first, but after receiving her totem and reflecting on it she began to open up and socialize better with the other cats in the clan. Eventually, she got to the point where she enjoys nothing more than to offer a lending paw to anyone in need.

Fallenheart - Water - Beaver - Brambletalon713 Fallenheart was a dark blue-grey she-cat with sparkling blue eyes. She had a rather slim and sleek build with fur that was always well groomed and maintained. Died at 23 Moons in childbirth.
Fallenheart was a very relaxed, calm, and caring cat. Always looking out for those close to her. She also enjoyed spending her time around rivers and streams finding them peaceful, calming, and enlightening. When the day came that Brambletalon caught Swiftclaw stealing from the camps prey pile, she instantly took to the young kitten and treated him as her own. Fallenheart lived a fairly normal life within the clan up until she passed away giving birth to her and Brambletalon’s daughter Icekit. Her and Brambletalon got close and fell in love after messing around by the river where she was trying to teach Brambletalon how to swim and catch fish. While short lived her and her mate made the best out of the little time they had together until her passing with Starclan. __________________________________
Spottedpelt - Water - Owl - Brambletalon713 Spottedpelt was an earth toned she-cat with speckles of darker brown against her pelt. She had a sleeker build with medium length fur and sapphire blue eyes. Died of greencough at 64 Moons.
Spottedpelt was a caring and watchful mother over her family and took a strong sense of interest in protecting her son Bramblekit when he had no signs of any powers. Outside of her family Spottedpelt prided herself on her hunting skills always making an effort to help out the clan in leaf-bare when there was no prey around. Spottedpelt lived a fairly simple clan life like her mate Brakenfur. After having her two kits, Bramblekit and Stonekit, Spottedpelt felt the need to keep a watchful eye over her Bramblekit when he continued to show no sign of powers whereas his brother Stonekit was showing wonderful promises with his connection to earth. Her mate Brakenfur saw Bramblekit as a curse and bad omen to the clan and for the most part disowned him as a son. Spottedpelt always felt bitter against her mate for this, but deep down she was worried just the same. This however wasn’t going to stop her from being a mother to her frowned upon kit. When the day finally came for her sons to become apprentices, she was frightened by the fact that the leader had made their father both of their mentors. Her worry ended up proving to be right as most of the learning and training Bramblepaw had ended up coming from his brother and not his father. When the day arrived that Bramblepaw returned back to camp with Stonepaw’s body, she was stabbed deep with pain and distraught. Especially when after a few moons of waiting her mate Brakenfur never returned from that fateful patrol. She was however proud to find out that Bramblepaw had finally found his power with the earth despite what it cost the two of them. After the incident with her sons and mate, Spottedpelt never let Bramblepaw out of her sight. Even after he ended up becoming a warrior now named Brambletalon. As things seemed to settle down for her and her son, Spottedpelt sadly ended up passing away to a bad case of greencough before she could witness the full potential of Brambletalon. __________________________________

While he cared for his family as well, he never made it as much of a priority until his sons came of age to become apprentices. He wanted to make sure the legacy of what he has proven over the years to the clan was reflected by his sons, but this care in training was only really focused on with his son Stonepaw. Due to Bramblepaw’s late blooming in showing the power of earth, he often looked down on his other son believing him to be a curse amongst the clan.Brakenfur lived a fairly normal life up to the point of his death. Spending the majority of his time protecting and looking after everyone in the camp. When he got older he fell in love with a she-cat named Fallenheart and together they had two kits. Bramble kit and Stonekit. Brakenfur passed away after getting into a skirmish with of group of Onyx’s rouges and yelling at his kits to run away and grab help from the clan. __________________________________
Stonepaw - Earth - Bear - Brambletalon713 Stonepaw was a stone gray tom with shining blue eyes. He had a sleeker build along with short fluffy fur.
Stonepaw was much like his brother Brambletalon in regards to his personality, with the biggest difference being he felt the need to watch over, protect, and help him.Stonepaw grew up feeling the need to watch over his brother Brambletalon once he realized he was showing no signs of a power connected with nature. This protective nature grew inside him when he became apprenticed to his father alongside his brother. Do to the disdain against his powerless son, Stonepaw had to spend his time outside of training to also help properly train his brother. Sadly, he was only able to help out Brambletalon so much as a few moons into training he was killed by a rogue of the name Onyx. As their father sent him and his brother back to the clan for help, they were ambushed by the pitch black rogue and wound up in a fight. When Bramblepaw got pinned to the ground, Stonepaw made every effort he could in the end to protect and keep his brother safe. After a short, but strong tussle with the rogue, Stonepaw met his end with a fatal blow. Clinging on for life he watched as his brother finally made a connection with the earth and took out Onyx and screaming at him to leave an never come back. When Bramblepaw padded over to him to help, Stonepaw used his last breaths to tell his brother he was proud of him and that he found his calling with the elements. __________________________________
Silverstorm - Air - Bird - Pineclaw A handsome silver tabby tom with yellow eyes. Died at 24 moons from betrayal by Thornfang. (Thorn)
Confident and always eager to improve, he's not afraid of trying new things and of making mistakes. He tries to be a respectable warrior but he can be immature and disrespectful at times, especially because he tends to speak his mind. He doesn't care much for hunting, being surprisingly clumsy at it, not helped by the fact that he also lacks the necessary patience. Born and raised in Ivyclan. He was sent on a quest to obtain his powerstone and he chose two skilled and trusted warriors, Heronflight and Thornfang, to accompany him. They succeeded but on their way back they got attacked by an elemental fox. After getting it to flee Thornfang suddenly turned on Silverstorm who was too surprised and exhausted to fight back. __________________________________
Heronflight - Water - Moose - Pineclaw
A lithe grey-and-white she-cat with yellow eyes. Died at 49 moons on a quest after fighting an elemental fox while protecting Silverstorm.
She can be a little strict and tactless sometimes but is friendly otherwise and knows how to encourage others. She's well-respected within her clan and the apprentices she has trained have all grown to be outstanding warriors. To cats outside Ivyclan, whether they are loners, rogues or Willowclan cats, she is ruthless though she doesn't kill the latter as she's always following the warrior code. Born and raised in Ivyclan. One day she, Thornfang and Silverstorm were sent on a quest to find the latter's powerstone. While they succeeded they never made it back home. An elemental fox attacked them and Heronflight died protecting Silverstorm. __________________________________
Ravenfeather - Air - Stag - Pineclaw
A black tom with amber eyes. Was murdered at 51 moons by Cloudchaser (Gale) during a border skirmish.
A mostly quiet cat who is obsessed with proving himself to his clan. He's hardworking and tries to take on more tasks than everyone else. Ravenfeather was born in Ivyclan but because his father was a loner who had joined the clan he felt like he had to always prove himself. He grew up to be a respected warrior and even got sent on a quest to find his powerstone. He died in a border skirmish with Willowclan by the claws of Cloudchaser.

Waspfang In Camp Open The sun was slowly starting to rise, dappling through the large ivy-laden branches of Ivyclan onto the camp below. Waspfang stretched and exited the warrior's den. He looked towards the freshkill pile, sniffing with a twitch of his nose. Though it was across camp, it was very apparent with his advanced sense of smell that there was not only very little on the pile, but that the pile was stale as well. A hunting patrol should be arranged. He noticed that his sister, Thistlestar, was also already awake, supervising her clan from the Speaking Stone through narrowed eyes, and he pinned his ears back against his head, avoiding her eyeline. If a deputy didn't create a hunting patrol soon, he himself would lead one, and he would need to inform Thistlestar, much to his dismay. The two hadn't been on good terms since they were both young warriors, and Waspfang tended to avoid her when he could.
Thistlestar On Speaking Stone in Camp Open
Thistlestar watched her clan through narrowed eyes, taking note of which cats were early risers. She had a habit of watching the clan in this way, as she silently took note of any cat who had a habit of sleeping in or slacking. She caught sight of her brother, Waspfang, but ignored him for the time being.
Patchpaw and Pebblepaw Exiting Apprentice Den Open Having woken up on the sunny side of his nest, Patchpaw had proceeded to prod his brother awake with a claw, much to Pebblepaw's protest. "Wake up, you sleepy badger!" Pebblepaw groaned, pulling a paw over his eyes. "What for? Is there a fire or something?" He grumbled sarcastically. Refusing to be put off, Patchpaw paced around his brother. "No, but you know Thistlestar will have our pelts if we don't go out there and try to find a way to be useful! Maybe we can get onto a border patrol or do some training!" At this, Pebblepaw's black patched ears perked up. Having only been apprentices for a moon, the idea of patrols and training still appealed to him. "Fine." He grumbled. The two picked their way out of the apprentice den before pausing to survey the camp. Patchpaw bounced excitedly on his paws while Pebblepaw set to work frantically cleaning himself, pulling out all traces of moss and smoothing his sleep-laden fur.
Dapplesky Warrior's Den Open
Dapplesky lay sleeping in the warrior's den, her breath slow and light.
Lizardeye Camp Open
Lizardeye nibbled on an old frog in the middle of camp, aware of Thistlestar's eyes on her and her clanmates. For all of her brutality, Thistlestar still tended to respect her elders enough to allow her more peace than her fellow clanmates, though Lizardeye knew Thistlestar would want to hear a report of whether she was keeping up her skills or not soon. The old she-cat, however, would much prefer to spend the day talking to some of the younger cats and hearing what news was in the air.

Mossyleap w/ Lizardeye- bluewonderMossyleap exited the warriors’ den, just leaving a restful sleep. She shook out her pelt and spotted Lizardeye tucked in with a frog, deciding to approach her. She bounded over with a bright, “Hello!”

Shadecreek - with Waspfang - bluewonder In an ever uphill battle to avoid Thistlestar’s scrutinizing eyes, Shadecreek made sure each and every day to be one of the first cats up in the morning. It was probably not good enough since he wasn’t first, but he at least put in the effort. After a brief side-ways glance at his leader, the black tom caught sight of Waspfang inspecting the fresh kill pile from afar.
“Thinking about going hunting?” he asked the silver tom as he approached.

Mintpaw-Camp-Open Mintpaw left the apprentice den, thankful he managed to not run into his den mates. They were great, but he truly was scared to talk to them, they were so much bigger compared to him, so it made it hard for him to try to start a conversation with them. Glancing around the camp, he hoped to see his mentor to be able to get out of the camp, and be able to-A leaf! He thought excitedly as he pounced onto it, before swiping his paw at the leaf to get it back into the air, his tail swiping behind him eager for its descent back down for him to pounce onto it again. Despite being able to become an apprentice early, he was still just a kit after all. Suddenly his gaze was soon caught by another leaf that was on the ground.

Waspfang In Camp Waspfang turned and regarded Shadecreek with indifference in his hazel eyes. That was certainly where the siblings were alike- neither of them made much of an effort to make friends. Thankfully, Waspfang seemed to be in a tame mood this morning, so no antagonistic comments were yet forthcoming. "Hello, Shadecreek," the tom greeted coolly. "Yes. The fresh kill pile is quite pathetic this morning. It appears that whoever was on hunting patrol yesterday afternoon was slacking. I figured it would be better to refill it before Thistlestar caught sight of it and admonished whoever it was." He stretched his claws, eager for the hunt. He had gained a powerstone many moons ago that brought him an enhanced sense of smell. Though originally he was furious, instead wanting a stone that would bring him better battle prowess, he now could see the benefits of its power- a key benefit being how it made him one of the superior hunters in the clan. Thistlestar may have bested him in battle when she rose to leadership, but she couldn't beat him in hunting, and that gave him a grim satisfaction. His eyes panned the clearing until he caught sight of another warrior. "Greenthorn!" He called to the long furred gray tom. "Hunting patrol." His voice was a command, not a question. Though he wasn't a deputy, he was known to boss around others in a gruff way similar to his sister.
Thistlestar Camp With Mintpaw, Ember34
Thistlestar's eyes were caught by the movement of the very small, still kit-soft form of Mintpaw as he bumbled out of the apprentice den. She watched with interest, pleased to see that he hadn't slept in like even some of her warriors had. It was a risk, apprenticing him and the others early, though it was a calculated one. Willowclan had boasted a very prosperous newleaf, and unless Ryestar had been lying, which was not her nature, the rival clan would be gaining several new apprentices in the next few moons. It only made sense to give her clan a headstart by apprenticing Ivyclan's oldest litter early. After all, battle training never killed any cat... maybe. Her pride in the young cat's initiative faded quickly though as she saw him bat at a leaf, then another. Growing in frustration, she leapt off of the Speaking Stone and strode powerfully over to his small silver frame. "And what do you think you're doing?" She questioned with a light growl from behind him.
Lizardeye Camp With Mossyleap, Dark
Lizardeye purred at the young Mossyleap, pleased to see such a cheery contrast to Thistlestar's infamous surliness. The culture in the clan had slowly shifted, and many cats were more aggressive or standoffish than they had ever been before Thistlestar was appointed, so it was nice to see that some cats such as Mossyleap had retained a carefree spirit. "Good morning, chipper one." She mewed, pushing her frog to rest between the two of them. "Want to share a bite of fresh kill? I'm not actually too hungry, I'm just eating it because Dapplesky says that I have to eat at least two meals a day." Lizardeye rolled her eyes in only half feigned frustration. "That molly, always worrying over me like I'm her kit!" She absentmindedly batted at the totem hanging from her neck with a paw, then added, "I suppose that's why Starclan saw it fit to give her the Rabbit totem, though. She tends to watch over everyone... in her own, quiet way." Lizardeye trailed off again, then exclaimed, "Dear me! I'm rambling aren't I? Lets talk about you! How are you? Anything interesting to report?" Her eyes narrowed mischievously, "Any tomcats catch your eye?"

Mossyleap w/ Lizardeye- bluewonder A soft purr emerged from the molly. "No, thanks, Lizardeye. I believe that Dapplesky is correct about her suggestion, though," she added kindly. Thinking about what the other she-cat had asked, Mossyleap eventually shook her head. "No, nobody really." Shatterfrost w/ Waspfang, Greenthorn- bluewonder ; moonclaw400 Shatterfrost pricked his ears at the sound of Waspfang's familiar meow coming from the other side of the clearing. He padded over, letting his gaze rest on the tom. "I think I'll make the patrols here, hm?"

Waspfang In Camp Waspfang's eyes narrowed as Shatterfrost spoke. He didn't appreciate the deputy quietly reprimanding him in front of this newfound patrol and felt his claws slide out quietly in anger. While Thistlestar had earned his submission through an intense sibling battle one day long ago, Shatterfrost had yet earned the right to talk down to him, especially as a younger tom. Moreso, there was lingering jealousy stirring his emotions- Waspfang would have loved the chance to be deputy, if it weren't for the rift between he and his sister. "Well, someone had to, so I figured I would step into the position that was being neglected." Waspfang growled, punctuating his words intimidatingly. It was still yet dawn and Shatterfrost had done nothing wrong by not calling the patrol, and Waspfang had enough sense not to force a scene against Waspfang. But he couldn't help the previous retort in an attempt to save face. He held Shatterfrost's gaze before begrudgingly relenting. "Would you like me to join, or shall I serve my clan a different way this morning?"

Mintpaw-Camp-Thistlestar(bluewonder)Mintpaw jumped at the sudden voice forgetting about the leaf, his fur fluffing up a bit. But relaxed slightly seeing that it was just his leader, Thistlestar! Offering a small smile to the she cat trying to calm himself from her tone. "I was just playing with some leaves," he said quickly. He didn't see an issue with it, he hadn't seen his mentor yet, so why not enjoy some time to himself. With how her tone was he looked down at his paws quietly, maybe it was wrong, he was supposed to be an apprentice! Patchpaw and Pebblepaw didn't play with leaves! But as the prior leaf landed nearby, his gaze couldn't help but be drawn to it. Shaking out his head he looked back to his leader. "I won't do it again I promise," he whispered. She thought he had been ready enough to be an apprentice early, he didn't want to make her question it and send him back to the nursery.

Shadecreek - In camp with Waspfang, Shatterfoot, and Greenthorn - bluewonder ; Dark ; moonclaw400 With a small huff of annoyance at the two bickering toms, Shadecreek stepped forward, Honestly, it doesn’t matter who leads or organizes the patrol, it needs to get done. StarClan knows we need fresh-kill right now,” he meowed. He risked another quick look at their leader, who was now speaking to Mintpaw. With all the training she had been organizing, there’s been little time to hunt. Shadecreek forced his fur to stay settled. The two had never seen eye to eye ever since he spoke out at the last apprentice ceremony.

Nectarbreeze In the Warriors Den, with Dapplesky bluewonder Light streaming into the warriors den woke Nectarbreeze, she slowly rose to her paws and stretched, shaking off her drowsiness. She noticed Dapplesky, who was still asleep in her nest, should I wake her, she thought. Dapplesky was sleeping so peacefully, and Nectarbreeze didn't want to disturb her, but it was quite late in the morning and she knew that Dapplesky would probably be grateful to be woken up instead of oversleeping. The she-cat slowly padded over to Dapplesky's nest and gave her a gentle prod. 'Wake up, Dapplesky', she meowed softly.

Shatterfrost w/ Waspfang, Greenthorn & Shadecreek- bluewonder , moonclaw400 , Junospower Shatterfrost's icy gaze rested on the older tom. "You have the honor of leading the patrol, Waspfang. Shadecreek and Greenthorn, you go along with him." As he gave this order, he noticed Patchpaw and Pebblepaw exiting the apprentices' den, and added, "Bring Pebblepaw and Patchpaw as well."
