Roxy cackled with laughter before she took a big swig from her cup. "I guess these fools would go crazy if they didn't have their booze!" She didn't really care who heard her and knew no one would pick a fight with her. Instead, she kept her steady gaze on Skylar. A small golden light caught at the bottom of her eyes, making their deep purple hue come alive with a faint, sadistic energy. "Oh so you are taking a job. Well I'm sure the Master wouldn't mind if you were gone after the meet." She took another sip.

As Shalba headed for the water, he spotted Nate Evans. One of his top and probably most troublesome mage in Sea Lion. So it was natural for the guild master to get onto Nate a lot. Though he saw the nice chunk of jewels the wizard was carring and his suspicion lifted. "Nate! Welcome back!"

Skylar nodded. "I was going to go today, but then I remembered you and Nate are coming back. It's been a long time since all of us were in the guild together at the same time." She wasn't put off by the other S-Class like others would be. "Plus, if I wait, maybe I can train someone to actually cover for me until I'm gone. I'm just worried about finding someone that can handle it." She had been making drink the whole time she'd been talking. She'd gotten so used to it, it came second nature to her. She handed off a couple more drinks and faced Roxy fully. "So. What do you say to us sharing a job?"

Shalba shook his head in dissapointment . "I thought I taught you how to tell time and years later you're still tardy. You almost missed the board meet." He then softened his expression and crossed his arms over his chest. "I realize that you're probably tired though so I'll let you slide on this one. And yes, everything has been fine. Now go into the guild hall and rest up. Spend lost of money too!"

Roxy shrugged her shoulders as she finished her drink. "I'm fine with that. After all, I was the one who offered so I would be down for it. Hey, we can split it 50/50!" The black haired beauty giggled a little before sighing in exaggeration. "And do we still not have an Inn Keeper who can help with stuff like the bar and managing the Inn?"

Skylar shook her head. "Nope, not yet." She glanced towards the door, then around the hall to make sure no one was listening. She lowered her voice just to be safe. "You know how he can be about money. He knows he doesn't have to pay me to do this. Thing is, I'm still an S-Class mage. I want to get out and do my real job. He knows it too. He's just lucky I remember the board meet and that you guys would be here. Otherwise I would be halfway to a boat by now." She sighed softly as she set down the cup she'd been cleaning. "It's starting to become a real problem."

Shalba put one of his hands to caress his furry chin while still having the other arm crossed over his chest. He thought for a second and then added something that would show that he was clueless. "An Inn keeper?....I guess not, since I haven't seen one.."

Roxy took a moment to examin Skylar's situation with large, curious eyes. "Then we should just go after the meet. Besides, he's bound to find an Inn keeper when he finds you aren't here." She gave the other S-class Mage a quick wink that complimented her white smile. "I wonder what this meeting is about anyways. Master seems to be making a big deal about it."

Skylar sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. "I feel kind of bad doing that to the master though..." She blinked, then nodded slowly. "Yeah, it does seem a bit odd that he's being so up in arms about one little meeting. Especially if he waited for a time that we would all be around. It must be serious if he wants all the S-Class mages of our guild there." She hadn't exactly done any digging. He'd been talking about it for a while now. He wanted them all there, so she'd just suspected it would be some time before it actually happened. It was so rare for all the S-Class mages to be in one spot at the same time after all. They were all so busy. Well, except for her. She wanted to be busy though.

Roxy frowned a little as she too fell in thought about what the meeting would bring. "I hope it isn't too serious.. Maybe it's about money or rent? After all, this place does get kind of expensive.." Roxy trailed off when her brother caught her eyes and saw that he was running around with yet another girl who would pretty soon have a broken heart. She rolled her eyes and stared at her glass. "I can't speak for Nate, but I know I didn't cause any trouble while I was out."
Lol I have a prefect idea about what the meeting will be about and it will kick off the first plot.)

Skylar started to shake her head. "No, I don't think it has anything to do with money. He wouldn't call the three of us together for something like that. And if one of you had caused problems, I doubt he would feel bad about calling us out in front of the whole guild." She sighed and crossed her arms. "No. I'm starting to think it's so bad that he can't bring it up in front of the others..." She shuddered. "I really hope that it isn't something like the end of the world or something..." She looked up as Nate entered. "Welcome back Nate!" She forced a smile onto her face now.

"Oh here we go." Mako mumbled as he turned around in his seat to look at Nate. Now it wasn't like he hated the guy or anything ; in fact Mako found it amusing to get him all riled up. Nate however could be quite reckless and had a reputation. "So how much did you destroy this time"? He asked in a rather condescending tone.

Mako raises his eyebrow at him and for once remains quiet. He wondered if something bad happened during the mission. Oh well he could always tease him a little later. He turns back to his drink and takes a big sip of it.

Skylar looked between the other S-Class mages of the guild. "All four of us. I hope the master isn't doing this for some worthless reason. This is too rare of a time for him to be messing around with us." She looked around. "Where is he? He should drag this out." It was pretty obvious to tell that she was a little worried. The master pulling aside all the S-Class mages during one of the rare times they all showed up to the guild at the same time? She was probably right to be worried to some capacity.
