An idea was that a cat or multiple cats were exiled due to pulling a coup over the clan's leader which failed. The exiled cats were sent away, but within time they'd concoct a new plan. The clan may be low on apprentices (due to what might've happened during the coup or it's not the usual time for kits to be apprenticed). An apprentice goes missing and the clan doesn't know who, what, or why it's happened.
The exiled group kidnaps the apprentice and could try to force the apprentice to switch sides. They won't return the apprentice, depending on their actions; if they refuse to work with the exiled group, then they take another apprentice. Both would be trapped, no way out of their situation until they figure it out.

A lot of this could be changed or it could be something completely different.

Sure, that'd be a cool idea the medicine cat could be the mole that the exiled group/cat has inside the clan. It's possible that the medicine cat didn't agree with the leader's decision, so they choose to support the exiled cats instead.

Is there a certain setting that you'd like for the clan, like where they live or do you prefer the canon clans?

That’s okay! I’m good with the forest territory, I prefer it over the lake one anyways. Any clan also works for me, but if I have a preference it’d be RiverClan, WindClan, or maybe ShadowClan.

Character formation would be the next step. If you want to include like a full allegiances for the clan, we can do that too! That way we have the possible victims & whatnot figured out.
