Hello everyone,
It looks like in the last three years since I've been to this site, it's gotten much...much...slower. I am therefore posting this thread for posterity, with no further intention to return to check on it afterword. Just as it says on the tin, I'm looking for RP partners. Let's get down to business.
In terms of base information, I am looking for partners aged 20+, full stop. I RP on discord or via e-mail only. I do not allow the use of face claims as it pertains to pictures of real people you just found on the internet. If you get through the length of this post and want to reach out, my discord handle and e-mail will be the last bits of information on this page.
If by now you're still here, I go by Mia or Lint. I'm 25, and I only RP lgbt+ characters and pairings. I prefer OCs over everything, but if we find out we like the same fandom/pairing, we can maybe branch out into that, too. I write novella style, advanced lit, minimum 2-3 paragraphs in third person, present tense. I write more or less obviously depending on context, but RPing (while I am very passionate about it) is just a hobby of mine so I don't usually intend to pop off with more than six paragraphs of text. (Again, unless the situation in context calls for it.)
I really want my partners to be able to mirror my writing style. Its not any fun for me personally to put a lot of effort into a response only to get one shoddy paragraph back in reply. If you're curious what a typical reply of mine will look like, I will be glad to show you.
I am a busy person, I work a full-time job, so I can't always guarantee completely consistency in the timeliness of responses. I myself am not a person to pester my partner for replies- if you need a break, that's totally understandable. Please just let me know you want to go on hiatus and whether or not you would still like to chat OOC. I don't want to put any pressure on you and vice versa, so I hope you will do the same for me.
What I look for in RPs, theme-wise:
Adult themes are a must. I enjoy Game of Thrones style fighting/politics/gore. That being said, I do not and will not abide by any homophobia, even in fiction. On the other side of adult themes, intimacy and romance are some of my most favorite aspects of RP, and I won't RP without it.
If you like medieval fantasy, morally gray princes, flawed and complex characters, political intrigue, monstrosity as a metaphor for love, literal monsters, (furthermore; monster lovers), cowboys, period era settings, sympathetic villains, enemies to lovers, twisted logic borne from good intentions, injury and illness, (emotional or physical) healing over time, hurt/comfort, angst-- you've come to the right place.
I am hungry to RP and really hope to find a twin flame that I can bond with over our characters. If this sounds up your alley, reach out. I feel like I'm shouting into the void.
