{ - Just a little place for me to manage the baker's dozen of characters that I intend to add to Glatisant's "The City" roleplay. Anyone else who wants a place to plan or fill out forms for it is free to do so here! ^^

At A Glance...
---
Nagamasa Momotarou: Is he suffering- successfully- from a 'God complex' or the shackles of becoming an earthbound deity? Does the distinction matter for a person like him? Momotarou claims to be heaven-sent to rule as the Seii Taishōgun of...wherever he pleases. Currently that is a considerable swathe of The City known most commonly as Momokan, but he intends to ultimately rule it all...Many of the oni, yokai, ayakashi, and other such beings familiar to his homeland swear fealty to him. The Lord doesn't discriminate however, and will accept anyone who wishes to serve or asks for his protection. It is believed that he possesses some sort of enchantment or mind-control over his subjects, as many find it difficult to deny him and work earnestly for his pleasure. He is rarely seen in public, working diligently within his palace-fortress for the good of his people and the sake of his ambition. His will is done by different branches of his government so not many can tell of his true nature...does he truly possess magic of some kind? Is it an innate ability or attributed to his many famed treasures such as the purported Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi?
Oda Mitarashi: The Seii Taishōgun's adoptive son, a young oni who is being raised to act as the highest officer within his government. Momotarou understands that he is too meek and softhearted to take to battle like his father so he is more of an unofficial heir. Whenever an audience is sought with the shogun, petitioners must pray that his more compassionate son is present to soften his decisions.
Niraikanai: Momotarou's floating palace fortress. Its architecture is as close to its original as possible, and so it appears distinctly out of place when compared to the industrious and more 'modern' buildings that make up the town below.
Momokan: The eastern side of The City belonging to Momotarou, it is heavily guarded against outsiders but has an outer trade district that is open to all for the sake of business. He takes any threats to the peace seriously and it is a point of pride for him that his citizens live fair, pleasant lives.
Akagane: The military section of Momotarou's government. He is a warlord after all...They take care of outside threats and are formed of his most powerful warriors.
Aogane: Momokan's own law enforcement.
Kurogane: The intelligence operatives, assassins, and other such specialists.
Housen: Momotarou's name for his people. Housen means 'treasure ship' and he maintains that they are precious cargo that he must shepherd and defend. It is his belief that no one is without worth. Even if that worth may be in death...
---
Enforcers: Though they may not be uniform due to The City's size and varying allegiances, this is a general term for law enforcement.
Artemis: A headhunting- sometimes literally- agency that outsources odd jobs. They are unaffiliated with any major powers within The City and will pretty much do anything for anyone. It depends on the operative. This of course frequently gets them into trouble and can result in in-fighting when members' allegiances clash...Membership is generally temporary as the occupation is primarily for people who don't yet have a reliable or steady job.
Ó Súileabháin: An inn hidden inside an ordinary-looking building that acts as the on-paper HQ for Artemis.
---
Zhenya Anakletos: An irreverent white tiger shifter and the official head of Artemis. He owes the bulk of his financial backing to a mysterious 'Mr. Rose'.
Gefangnis: An ornery vampiric researcher associated with the Magia Universitas. He doesn't teach often but may occasionally borrow students for some obscure experiment or another. He tends to rub others the wrong way with his blunt and openly antisocial nature. Fang is also usually blamed when things go wrong as well, as he was recently voted Most Likely To Become A Mad Scientist. Or lich, if he isn't one already. Though he has a rather rigid view of the world and strict moral code, these can both be forgotten in the pursuit of magical & scientific discovery...Though not exactly compassionate, Fang can be fair and honorable. People are generally surprised whenever he does anything kind and it honestly embarrasses him so he tries to hide it. He has a weakness for children and submits entirely to them as he doesn't know how else to treat them. He is well-versed in a variety of magic but seems to rely primarily on his veritable library of grimoire. Gefangnis is commonly referred to as a warlock and doesn't bother to correct it. When he teaches, it's either Demonology or Rune Script. He has also recently become something of a mentor for students who intend to specialize in summoning as he hates to see people do it wrong. And end up hurt...
